This is a nice clear video but the title should say this is for local/lan connections only. You need to open ports and get the proper external IP address if you want to do a proper remote connection from different networks / locations.
Which you should not do unless you have REALLY GOOD network security

Only he missed the most important thing. This is only for a local network and cannot be done over the Internet because most people have a dynamic rather than a static IP address.
You can just set your ip to static if that's the issue
@@Chickendinguss You can't make dynamic into static. An intermediary is needed as in example TeamView. Their servers forward the data and help the two computers find each other.
I use ngrok to do this. It's free. Although paid would get you a dedicated address and faster speed. There's tutorials on how to use ngrok. Remote Desktop Connection uses port 3389
You can use DDnS to connect to a dynamic public up. I had to use one to remote into my NVR.

hi, I am trying to remote a desktop (windows 10 pro with ethernet network) from a laptop (windows 10 pro with wifi), but I could not remote successfully which it shows about the network problem. Just wonder if there is any good suggestion fro what step may be the issue?
Check the firewall, gateway etc. . something is blocking it probably

Two things to mantion, that could be helpful:
1. If you have an antivirus programm, then turn it off
2. If your windows (of the PC you want to connect to) doesn't have password, then you have to set a passwort
How can i set one on the PC im trying to connect to, it already has a log in Password but that doesnt work

Do I add check marks to all the options labeled Remote Desktop? For example bot private and public Remote Shutdown and the others?

I'm assuming this is on the same network, but what if it's on a different network? I saw someone in a forum says that requires port forwarding to a specific port in order to allow RDP access.
Yes you have to create a por on 443 if I don't remember bad and instead of the ipv4 the external IP of the router
That's why I thumbs down. It should say on the title it's only for LAN RDP.

When reuniting into a user PC, how do you switch between the monitors they use if they work on 2 screens? I removed into the left screen and needed to be viewing the right screen
Did you ever find the answer? I beleive the PC automatically switches the single display mode immediately as you log in.

indeed it did work but in my case as a password on the target pc it wont accept my usual microsoft inlog pincode password from that pc i had to use my genreral microsoft password for it to work but sinds microsoft alresdy know that... Have too look up how you set up an extra new pasword for the future in case i use other remote desktop programs

i followed all the steps but not able to connect, it doesn't show next popup while connecting through Remote Desktop app, shows the error like RDP is not enabled on the other PC, but i did these 2 steps, enabled RDP, then also check public private in firewall, that checkboxes are also enabled, what could be the issue??
