Gordon, if you want to do what's right for the sport, you should compete in the CJI. Put the ego aside; this is bigger than any competitor. This could be a turning point for the sport. Think of how many fighters you will help by participating in the CJI. If you compete, it will lead to fighter pay increases. All your fans who love you will be able to win money, and future generations can start to make a career off of BJJ. Please think about this. You have a chance to make this into a real sport where people can feed their families off of competition. Currently, only a handful of people make enough money. Please think about others and the future. If you want what's best for the sport and your fans, please compete.

Aloha Gordon I know you have a lot of smart people around you wishing you the best. I’ll tell though we can overdo it and confuse our system doing too many things at once, for the best benefits the body wants to maximize what it’s doing but it tough when we do too many things at once, it can be confusing on the gut, if you’re having problems with your intestines, you know that your absorption is not working 100% and how much you’re actually getting out of what you eat. A simple well thought out diet that isn’t mixing bad combinations of food is important. Research food combinations. I just wanted to send good vibes and tell you that alive food in good combinations will straighten you out. I would probably be eating aloevera also because of its rapid cell regeneration ability and a lot of whole foods, ginger garlic etc. Anyway, that’s my rant! Good luck

I'm dealing with this stuff to rn it's awful nausea 24/7. Can't function have you had a hida scan to check your gallbladder function it could be the culprit to your nausea as MCAS isn't just one symptom/ organ I truly think you should check that out maybe it's that all along

Hey man look into slippery elm (i took mine with L-Glutamine). I made a mess of my digestive wall by going vegan. The fibers of constant raw vegetables basically did a goddam scotchbrite job on the protective linings. It took over 6 months but it worked completely. If the professionals have not suggested it yet, idk…

Hey Gordon, I also deal with MCAS and leaky gut, and am currently in the process of healing.
I'm sure you're in capable hands but your protocol seems a little underwhelming. Although I'm assuming this is only a small part of it.
I know how debilitating "tummy aches" are so I'll share what has worked for me. I had a lot of issues (MCAS, histamine intolerance, candida, brain fog) but I didn't see big improvements in these areas until I focused on sealing my gut lining.
My approach involves:
1. Antioxidant supplementation
2. Targeted Mucosal Nutrients
3. Probiotic Intestinal Microflora
4. Dietary Fiber Supplementation
1. Antioxidant supplementation:
Quercetin: 400-800 mg
Ginkgo biloba extract: 40-80 mg
Vitamin C (calcium, magnesium ascorbates): 1,000-2,000 mg
Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopheryl succinate): 200-400 mg
N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) 150-300 mg Zinc (Zinc picolinate): 45-90 mg
(Consider copper supplementation at 0.75-1.5 mg in light of zinc intake.)
2. Targeted Mucosal Nutrients
L-glutamine : 750-1,500 mg
N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (NAG): 375-750 mg
Phosphatidylcholine: 75-150 mg

for years i thought maybe i had a similar issue. had issues with staph, issues with stomach and nausea . feeling like shit all the time. hard to train or do much of anything. felt like i couldnt absorb any energy out of what i ate and like i couldnt recover or feel strong. it was all coming from a neck injury. i still have the issues to this day. there was no solution to it. neck flares up so does stomach and the rest of my insides. has to do with the damaged nerves. jiujitsu can change your life in a terrible way
