you didn't put down Weed Barrier Landscape Fabric, i forgot to do that step also, weeds growing like crazy....

Are you using playground mulch?. Looking into mulch for my kids backyard Playset, is regular mulch OK to use for my backyard playset?

Yes we are. For non-commercial use brown non-dyed is probably OK but I cannot say with any certainty what the impact rating is or how safe it actually is.
