I have a friend who was a student at Kent State when this tragedy occurred, he dropped out and came back home and did the best he could. He just recently retired and has moved with his family out of state to live in a place he has always wanted. He has made positive impacts in many people's lives and was a huge addition to our community. He spoke a few times about his experience that day with me, I'm sure it pointed his compass to become the person that he is, in honor of those young people who lost their lives.
I fear the US will fall a lot further before enough people have the strength to stand up as you guys did. I'm so glad my young and impressionable mind and my hippie parents raised me to recognize and fight against today's madness. Thank you for your strength and courage. Not everyone has forgotten.
Well-done, Mr. Casale. Bravo. Thank you for all you have given us in the past, and still do. Thank you so much for being a voice for truth... as a brave young student, as a gifted iconic artist, and as a fellow citizen. Though we go on mourning for those who were lost, we are so very grateful for those like yourself who survived, to bear witness. Be well, sir. I hope, in the near future, a redo of the planned events for the 50th commemoration can be arranged. The dead deserve that. You survivors do, too. And the younger generations need to know.
Boo, keep your politics out of my music. This was 3 years ago. How about a comment on left wing politics and how its even worse now with anti-semitism at left wing universities.

Thank you, Mr. Casale -- very well articulated.
I will always have immense respect for Mr. Casale. He's spoken nothing but the truth.
You all were right about DEVOLUTION and its speeding up in our country
Well said Jerry
Nice speech, Mr. Casale. May the students who were killed May 4, 1970 rest in peace.
Thank you for sharing this painful memory. History has indeed repeated itself.

The more things DEVOlve, the more they stay the same.
Preach, Jerry! You guys were really ahead of your time. It's sad how far we've devolved. Not necessarily beautiful, but mutated.
Good speech. Greetings from across the years.
Yes!!!! Duty Now folks!!!
Howdy stranger... you seem strangely familiar. Hope you're well. Thank you for speaking today.
Keeping it reals.
CASALE FOR PRESIDENT
The only guy worthy of the office.
@@zhiracs I agree
Well said, but as you say nothing has changed. Still no justice for those killed and wounded.
Is the huge Devo dome really needed here? Or is it just hiding the notes that jerry is reading from?
It didn't detract from what was said, and as a thumbnail, may even have encouraged more people to watch and listen.
wiggle wiggle wiggle! it's a wiggly world!
