Thats it, Teddy and Mike need to be on each other's podcast.
Amen
It's long overdue and I don't understand what's taking so long for them to set it up and they must have Kevin Rooney as well.I would kill to hear the 3 of them together.
They are both making noises about it...Not long now.
Never going to happen
Yes but mike i don't think he can and sit next teddy and teddy talks some parts against mike
Finally he talks about Mike without bringing up faults and just enjoys telling a story about him.
Joseph Iovino teddy has been doing this for years. He has no beef with Tyson what’s in the past is in the past
@@mmaonpoint8660 Eh i dunno... Kinda harsh on Rogan
I agree finally a good Teddy story maybe his finding humility himself now
@Tax-bitchass biyatch no he wasn't your moron
I’m glad, I got tired of hearing the stories of Tyson knocking old ladies teeth out
Prime Tyson would butcher Wilder in one round he wouldn't be able to keep him off or connect.
No boxer with tysons size, style or anything was successfull in the recent decade against tall, big, highly skilled, powerfull well rounded fighters like the wilders, furys, joshuas, klitschkos and lewises of this world. Tyson wouldnt have a chance. If Tyson wanted to be successfull today he would have to lose a few pounds and fight in a lower weight class with his frame. Wilder would keep tyson at bay for a few rounds until he ceases his head movement (or becomes slower with it and loses timing) and would take his head off with a right hand in round 3-5. And thats a Tyson-friendly prediciton. In reality he probably would just take his head off right away
Baba Ed there hasn’t been a boxer like Tyson yet. doubt there ever will be
@@babaed5760 But wilder is not highly skilled and well rounded. He struggled to hit fury and mike had way better head movement. How is wilder gonna hit someone who comes in so low and has great headmovement and speed. Theres guys with faster hands and threw more punches than wilder and they still couldn't hit mike. Tyson would be in wilders chest from the first bell. Klitschko was stopped by way lesser fighters and weaker punchers than tyson. Mike style is literally based on fighting guys like these. But they're styles aren't based on fighting guys like mike. Mike weighed from 215 to 220 in his prime and wilder weighed 215 to 230 most of his fights. So i don't know how mike is too small. You're just really delusional.
Ruiz is actually only 6ft tall and overweight and beat joshua and your telling me tyson wouldn't stand a chance?
@@babaed5760 Maybe if Wilder knew how to actually box, but he doesn't. He's certainly hot highly skilled or well rounded, he's a one trick pony with an awkward style. Back in the Day Mike said he'd fight anyone. Don't today's HW fighters get their fight cards cherry picked so they fight people ranked waaaaaayyyyyy below them? You're record is manipulated if that's the case. Mike has the fundamentals drilled into him so he still has the muscle memory today. He would have been able to get inside and chopped that tree down like nothing. Wilder would get clipped with Tyson's left hook and fly across the ring like a rag doll with all that damn back peddling, wild swinging and dropping his guard the way he does.
That's young Mike Tyson, I don't think Mike should be fighting at his age. He should be training new young boxers the way Cus and that crew trained him, continue the legend of that Camp.....
Teddy is so much more enjoyable when there is no anger in his statements. It really lets you appreciate his genius instead of his anger which put alot of salt in his interviews. Keep it up Teddy👍
well said
Just imagine if Mike had stayed with Rooney or Atlas until he had retired
@Tax-bitchass biyatch teddy was great
Can you say "THE GRESTEST TO EVER DO IT?!"🤷🏽♂️
@Tax-bitchass biyatch Teddy was a very good boxing trainer for mike in his early days. Mike even Said it himself that without teddy he wouldn't been where he his today.
He wouldnt have ever lost, minus maybe a lucky one-time blast that knocked him out.
I'm glad teddy is softening on his view of Mike. Mike has taken responsibility and admitted he wasn't a good person as a young man. His horrible upbringing messed him up but he has apologized to people he wronged and truly has remorse
Same way I feel
Gotta love teddy. So glad he made a RUclips channel for the fans
I tell everyone Mike Tyson is highly Intelligent “ Teddy Atlas said” He learned so fast like a sponge”
He is very intelligent. His son is also said to be a genius. speaks multiple languages and plays many different musical instruments too.
Libtards got Trumped didn’t know that but I’m not shocked!!
1:48 the side by side of mike and his opponent is something you'd see out of an snl skit that shit killed me lol
I love the ‘Sonny Liston’s nephew’ story.
Got to love teddy Atlas doesn’t get enough credit as a trainer. I think a lot of fighters/managers/promoters are afraid of him. Because he’s in your face..doesn’t give a fuck. But he’s the ultimate tough love father figure fighters need.
Classic. Teddy is absolutely the definition of "MOTIVATOR "
Weeya fiyamen!! Do you bewieve in mayagic?? Were fiya fightas! We wawk into da flames of da fiya! Every now and then theres such a thing as magic! Weeya magicians! We make mayagic!!! 💩
lol atlas is a phony
Great legendary footage
have you heard of David Goggins 🤦
CAN PEOPLE STOP SAYING TEDDY IS BITTER. HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS> GOOD OR BAD
Always loved the guy. If he we're my motivation coach alone I'd be a champion in life !
Dzek Trbosjek you seem like a real happy person 🙂
Dzek Trbosjek someone’s projecting their insecurities
You dudes in the comments are so gay lol
he is a bitter old man get over yourself lol
My Pops Was Boxer in the light heavyweight division and His bud was a HW at the time , My Pops Friend fought Mike in the amateurs and came back with a broken nose and swole eye . He said “man it’s some guy from the Catskills name mike, he is a killer! , he hits you like a metal Bat! “
The talent dedication and professionalism Mike had with Cus Teddy and Kevin and his managers almost makes me tear up.
Teddy’s book is incredible, a must read.
A bio or a boxing instructional book?
Better yet, listen to the audiobook and hear the man himself read it!
The portion on his relationship with Michael Moorer is especially good 😎
dawb86 it’s a bio the one I read.
Teddy and Mike forever 💕
Imagine how good he could’ve become if you would’ve stayed with Atlas and Rooney. Wow
Young teddy omg that’s class
Tyson was like the Football Team Barcelona, with a unique style thanks to his coaches. Cus D'amato was like Pepe Guardiola, a master of the art.
Love listening to Teddy’s interviews.
The day teddy and mike get on the podcast together and talk about old stories.. that shit is going to get so many views
Enjoyed the call to Cus D' Amato immensely, the rest was great but that was my highlight.
Great story Teddy. You are a part of Mike’s boxing legacy regardless of y’all differences. You did well to teasing him the sweet science👌🏾.
Brilliant, this podcast is super awesome.
How cool would it be to have a podcast with Teddy an Tyson talking about those old times.
These short snippets are the best way to show teddy
This is amazing to watch!
tyson had such compact punches, all he had to do was find you exposed inside for a split second, bam, you were kissing canvas.
But only if you are a journeyman, old or a hand picked mismatch
@@babaed5760 Sounds like you are describing today's boxing
Sounds like 97 percent 9f any top boxers record lol, who's ever fought 30-40 champions haha
Thank you for great sport reports my dear uncle. We are happy to meet you and your family again.
just imagine Mike, Tedy and Kevin, reunite to go for the heavyweight title NOW. It's totally doable.
Great respect to you Mr Atlas. Maybe with the exception of other fighters Cus trained, I'm not sure, but I've never seen a strong, quality heavyweight shadow box with that speed and ferocity. It's so dynamic and exhilarating and exciting to see. It's as though he should have been a flyweight! Thankyou.
Look at the mechanics behind that beautiful jab Teddy is throwing at Tyson.
Teddy is Boxing!
Great man.
True rolemodel!
You can tell he loves mike he knew mike was a specimen at a young age. Without teddy is no mike with all do respect iron mike!!! #doitforcus
Teddy is a good dude I met him one time and was soo damn excited. Real good dude
glad to hear teddy talk about his experience with mike and know that it was not all bad.it takes a man to apologize and even a bigger man to accept considering what mike has done to teddys family.dont know teddy will ever forgive mike if I was teddy I don’t think I could but teddy was a huge reason mike became youngest heavyweight champion.its good to see teddy open up about it.teddy one of the greatest trainers and boxing personalities in this his era of boxing.
Love teddy atlas especially the videos of when he was a teen !
Only time I feel ive seen teddy speak on Tyson with reverence and a kind of fondness. Usually dogs him out.
blessings. boxing legends never die!
Imagine having to fight Mike in the amateurs just to get knocked out poor guys
Look at it this way, they made history.............being part of Mikes Legacy.
Apart from Henry Tillman who beat him twice in amateurs
Bad he doesn t represent USA in Olympics.
My Pops Was Boxer in the light heavyweight division and His bud was a HW at the time , My Pops Friend fought Mike in the amateurs and came back with a broken nose and swole eye . He said “man it’s some guy from the Catskills name mike is a killer! , he hits you like a metal Bat! “
@@AhmanX.L I was boxing on team Michigan and we went to the Ohio State Fair National Boxing Tournament in 1984 and the heavyweight on my team was also from my gym. He fought Tyson and he got dropped but he didn't get knocked out because our coaches told him if you get knocked down to STAY down! I HAD NEVER HEARD OR BEEN TOLD THAT IN MY BOXING CAREER. After watching the rest of the tournament I figured out EXACTLY why they advised him to stay down. The next night the heavyweight Tyson fought (Goff) left the arena on a stretcher in an ambulance in the AMATEURS.
Love Teddy love boxing go back to every era of boxing myself...FRIDAY night fights with Max K.
Teddy A.and the rest of this great cast that made us excited about a forgotten sport..because of the evolution of UFC...Bring Boxing back...there's still guys around that get it...
Wow the footage 💆🏽♂️👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
He definitely had a deep understanding of Tyson and his psychology
Thank you Teddy
Shoutout the Joe Louis bomber jacket lol
Great pod casts, I'm hoping they can reunite professionally. Mend the fences and win the belt :) I know I'm dreaming but man, Tyson could get redemption from his monsters of the past. Great story.
Awesome
Young Tyson. I wish Cus could've lived for another ten years to guide Mike during his time as champ.
Or if Ali was not sick I believe Mike moved to his gym ranch and Ali guided him in life.
They looked so happy after that fight.
Imagine waiting for your son to fight all day only to look up at the screen at 1:44, have you asking for birth certificates 😂
Teddy...If Mike's return is legit would you consider training Mike again.
Omg
Fuk yes up vote this comment
Doubt it since their fallout was very personal. Nice to see them on better terms though
Mike is 53 years old , are you guys smoking crack? Any pro heavyweight boxer would finish Mike within a round
@@5dollarshake263 heavyweight division is piss poor today.. A street fight id put my money on mike
wow, very smart guy, this Teddy Atlas.
Art 🖼
1:57 - I must have watched this fight 10 times to figure out what happened.
@Ryan Rhodes because Tyson is super fast and for us boxers we're trying to learn his movements, the detail
Brilliant
That footage is gold
Anyone know where to find the documentary he’s talking about?
I stand corrected! (Somewhat.) Very nice!
Legend
Teddy is the greatest ‘almost’ trainer in the history of boxing
@2:54 they take a picture of him like it's a crime scene. Lol
Ted is a genius
The best sport reporter.
Great story. Glad y’all made up
tyson is a real real real beast
I heard this story years ago, I didn’t realize that there’s footage of the phone call
teddy really trained him aweome its gratitutde to be
Teddy finessing the mike Tyson keyword
It's good to see teddy finally talking good about tyson again. Teddy needs to be train8mike on his comeback exhibition whatever
Tyson and Atlas was one of professional Boxing’s greatest Boxer/trainer duos, that never was..
Mike is the goat. He rised to the top like no other fighter in history. Lets not forget he took his lost after gus passed away and didn't have no direction. Mike relyed on guss for every step of his life . Gus was the wind beneath mikes wing!
Oh my God
Teddy should reach out and get on mikes podcast, and do what they have to in private. The true fans want it.
1:45 difference was so clear
Song at end?
Is it just me or does Teddy look really young in the studio here?
www.athleticgreens.com/atlas ;)
Mike tyson have gift good
Nice jacket
1:34 lol it’s like he’s never heard of anybody winning by first round knockout
Haven’t watched yet but I’ll bet you it’s got undertone of shade and 🧂
Teddy talks about mike tyson so much and mike never mentions him 😂😂😂.
Mike says he loves Teddy and wouldn't be who he was if not for Teddy. ruclips.net/video/a6Rl5egjPlU/видео.html
Cus's first question: Which hand did he get the KO with?
Damn hope that guy was ok that was a brutal ko
look at the difference in the preview 1:45 lmao
"This is not gonna end well..."
Tyson was way ahead of his young years. Once Cus passed away and he lost his focus, that was the beginning of the end.
I think he's realizing that when speaking of Tyson, he gets a whole lot more views. Meaning he also is aware of the comments.
Teddy you know what we want. This could literally be a footnoteand give hope to boxing
bring back the 'stache Teddy :D
Teddy, I hope you read this comment as I've been a big fan of Tyson for a while now. I want to ask you a question. How far do you think a prime Tyson would've gone if he had kept his head straight? Would he have been 50-0? Thanks...
So sad that things went the way they did between Mike and Teddy. Wish they had stuck together for the entirety of Mike's career, things may have been different.
"8 second knokout". LOL
Teddy looks like Rob Kaman that Muay Thai kickboxer when he was younger
Song name in opening and closing? Anyone?
One VHS collection
Slayer - Angel of Death
Jacob thanks man. Been trying to find out for a couple weeks now. Peace. ✌🏼
Nick Kiussis Use shazam next time you will find it faster:)
Cagatay Cakmak Thanks for the knowledge! Wasn’t aware of it! 👍🏼
finally Teddy stopped officially shitting on Mike. Legends
Teddy, speak into the mic.
What if teddy stay along side mike...
The greatest fighter ever
the part were they are both shadow boxing, Jesus that guy look like he is training for 1 month.
He disses Mike Tyson any chance he gets when he’s on ESPN or anything else
Bass on next mans voice
He couldn't even hide his bias. Tell me how you really feel "again" . Even if it's of topic.
