- Tandorio watches are much maligned...more for their brand name than anything else!
Putting that aside Tandorio Watches offer a myriad styles at incredible prices.
They even offer bespoke customisation to the dial, alternative handsets and alternative crown options also. What's not to like?
I have reviewed many Tandorio watches and do not claim they are the best watches you can buy on a budget, but they are moddable are ultimately fun!
The Tandori W10 Watch is their homage to the Hamilton W10 pilot watch, albeit in a small and quirky case. It is ultimately enjoyable.
Want to start modding watches then Tandorio could be a place to start.

John, I jumped at the chance of getting this beauty in the last sale (and arrived just 2 days prior to your review). Got it for 41 GBP (around $53 USD) with delivery included. I got to say that I agree 100% with you. In my case I have a 7-inch wrist and the included strap barely fit, but the watch is awesome and lots of fun. Glad to see that someone is doing a proper review on YT. I think that other than changing straps, I will leave this watch as is, no mods for me. Best regards from Mexico

And the leather strap is great, not a throw-away.

Looking at it from a “glass half full” perspective, the lume isn’t worse than what you would get with an actual vintage W-10.

I have two 38 mill Tandorio's, one with a white and one a grey shell dial and they are ace no nonsense watches. Also, the customer service is excellent with a no hassle returns policy even if it is because you do not like the dial colour as in my case.

The main reason I like Tandorio and Cadisen watches is they both offer several great watches that are under 40mm wide and I just hate this trend of huge watches which thankfully seems to be ending or at least slowing down now, we dont all have big fat wrists. 36mm to 39 is my ideal watch size. Ive had my eyes on this one for a while now.

I bought the case only and built my own watch using a Seagull ST2103. A very good quality case with domed sapphire crystal.

I like that grey nylon strap. If it freys to me that would add a bit of character. I think gnarled old frayed straps look good.
It will certainly do that...I just find they get a bit itchy haha :)

Good looking watch. No frills no fuss, like you said it gets the job done. It seems like Tandorio regulates their movements. i picked up one of their fliegers recently and it loses 2 seconds a week!

Looks very similar to Hamilton pilot pioneer, also 36 mm and similar strap but that one is $845 and only mineral crystal. I haven’t been able to justify paying for the Hamilton. Hamilton is thinner. But overall great find.
Yeah I mentioned it reminded me of my Baltany W10 purchase last year but of course all of these watches homage the Hamilton. Good wee watch for starters, that's how I see Tandorio. Decent looks for very little money and when you add the the mod factor, it's a good deal all round. Thanks for watching:)

@@johnswatchjoint Oh I have no doubt I will get a military style or vintage military style at some point but when I do, I probably will go with a Baltany. I’m a bit of a Aliexpress snob. Which may be akin to being the richest guy at the homeless encampment. 🧐
I rate Baltany highly. They are without a doubt the best exponents of budget military style watches. If you need any info just give me a shout when I am back ;)
Actually nothing wrong with the little watch for the price. The case finishing, the crystal, and even the handset are appropriate. I understand it's not an issue while wearing the watch, but why is it 14 mm thick? I wonder whether the PT5000 version is thinner as this is a thinner movement. Have a nice holiday mate!!

Very fine review. New to your channel. I’ve been looking for good representative tonneau case W10 at a Chinese watch price point for a while, so I just ordered one of these. It looks very nice, not a perfect replica of the case, but close enough to give a W10 feel. What I can’t understand is why I can’t find something similar with a quartz movement. Automatics are swell, but it just adds unnecessary bulk and complexity to this homage.
I know exactly what you mean. It would be great if we could find a VH31 sweeping quartz. Well we can dream ;)

A good budget watch as you say. Talking about WR today I saw an Addiesdive in the choice section with 1000m WR and an automatic Helium escape valve. Would love to see the guy in Finland (Beyond The Press) have a go at that one. Nearly ordered but noticed it had the pressed clasp that used to be on the Willards. It was only £65ish but I'll wait for V2. 😊
You can actually buy the correct milled clasp on Ali so you would not have to wait on a V2 that may not come. Just look for dive watch clasp or dive watch clasp upgrade ;)

The design is timeless, of course the WR is absolutely in question, however if it's a mod base then I suspect all it will need is new seals, if you have a crystal press job done....haven't been to Oban in years, great place....🏴⌚🏴⌚

Love Tandorio. I’ve got 4 of them now and one in the mail. Don’t care about the name since they offer everything with a sterile dial option. Have to shake my head at all the microbrands popping up in Western countries who expect us to pay $400-600 for sapphire crystals and Seiko movements assembled on cases made in China when Tandorio delivers the same for $50.

That watch is great value. I was put off from the brand after Gary at ILW did a pressure test on one of their 200m divers and it leaked at around 30m if I remember correctly. Maybe it was a one off but as someone who uses some of the AE watches, Heimdallr, and Steeldive as dive computer backups with no problems I wonder about the overall quality of their watches. Of course this isn't a dive watch so less of a problem but the question is what happens if it does accidentally get wet?. If a 200m watch leaks at 30m, how good is a 50m watch?
I have done a few reviews of Tandorio. They are very good for the price. The only real caveat is actual water resistance. For everyday use, which here in Scotland is pretty much rain all the time I have only had one that fogged up...and it turned out I had not screwed in the crown properly! Oops. Every other watch in everyday use has been great. They are fun and offer a lot of mix and match styles. Have a go 👍

A Kardashian Watch (Big Bottom) on a serious note it looks good for the money and would agree stick with the NH35 movement.

Hi John. Is this very similar to the baltany. They look the same but priced nearly £90 more on the baltany.
It is similar but the Baltany is far superior in quality, plus you know you get water resistance which the Tandorio just doesn't have 🤗

I have a similar issue, after a month the watch hadn't even reached China customs. Aliexpress guarantees 10 day delivery, but when I opened a dispute because tracking clearly shows the watch isn't going anywhere, they just gave me a 1$ coupon and an automated message telling me to keep waiting. Meanwhile another sale has gone by, and they still want me to wait another 64 days. That'll be over three months. I wanted this watch but with this level of service, I'll probably not reorder it when/if I'm ever refunded - "items selected and shipped directly by AliExpress with guaranteed on-time delivery on all items" my ass.
