The scariest part about this figure is it’s implications. If there was absolutely no mass shifting involved, that means when Jetfire is in his robot mode he is hundreds of feet taller than Devastator.
But he will be half submerged.
I was thinking the same thing, jetfire here would be insanely tall
what about metroplex?
Or maybe his alt mode is very small, which is funny to be honest.
Yeah he would certainly be enormous because those turrets are 15 inch (381 mm since it’s most likely a British Queen Elizabeth class or Revenge class Dreadnought battleship) gun turrets which are enormous in their own rights.
Missed opportunity for the axe and cane to turn into a anchor of sorts
Yes. But that is oversized for this ship.
That is a very cool idea! Although I’m not sure how it’d look for their scale
That'd be one huge anchor
Too true
Perhaps a flail.
I remember seeing those ships in concept art of the cancelled film Operation: Skyfire
*still praying Paramount and Hasbro still pick up a WWII Prequel. ToyWorld is amazing!*
You’re not the only one praying
That would’ve be so cool! I really hope for that too! There should definitely be a battleship transformer
It isn't, they recently released pictures of a final product shatter/burst triple changer.
I love how they managed to turn Jetfire into a WW1/WW2 Battleship. I would keep him in battleship mode because I love warships like that. Also, in real life, he would be titanic in size!
I see what you did there
Unless he was a mass shifter like Cyclonus
@@ChaoticJester But that's cheating. Especially in live action.
@@toonistiny I mean he kinda has to do it due to the massive size of the real one.
No no it can't be Toyworld's last release. They made art for other figures in the works such as the dreads, mohawk, megatron, lugnut and optimus in their WWII styles! If it's true it's such a shame because some of us personally love to dive deep into the forgotten history of transformers..
After a ton of QC problems and the owner of TW apparently trying to run off, makes sense.
I think they had issues with their customer service & QC so for now are calling it quits
Oo shit they might do it like wwl themed in sted of wwll
If ToyWorld wasn't a shit company this wouldn't happen.
@@PrimeVsPrime3D
Considering the size of a dreadnought ship (WW1 battleship) this would be titan sized when compared to a triple decker plane ala Starscream.
Yesss huge haha! Would annihilate the DECEPTICONS for sure!
@@PrimeVsPrime i I thought he transform in jet
But this is meant to be small in size so it can combine with that Optimus Prime that combines with Blackbird Jetfire.
@@bryanpham8260 well considering we didn’t really have large planes back then, the closest thing would be a Battleship
@@Viscid149 what do you mean?
24:06 Optimus Prime version of Kantai Collection 😎👍
I love the new form of Jetfire as a WW1 Battleship as seen in this video but, I'm not mistaken in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Jetfire's vehicle form was modeled after The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird and in the cartoon/animated series Jetfire resembled The Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
In Armada, he had the resemblances akin to a Space Shuttle.
I really like the idea if him being a battleship.
Me too! I wish we had a battleship transformer
@@PrimeVsPrime If the Yamato Battleship is a Megatron?
looks great, good review, this Jetfire would be gigantic
Thanks so much!
Primevsprime You’re killing me. I keep waiting for that scraphook review
Legacy evolution reviews very soon!
I am amazed despite all loose parts that they kept the similar shape to studio series Jetfire. Just like my own Jetfire, I imagine this would just be a display piece like he is.
This is not the last release. Toyworld themselves revealed colored product images of their shatter/burst. It looks great in robot mode, and pretty good in the car and plane modes.
Thats from 4 years ago
No ToyWorld had released test shots of their Shatter/Burst but recently they released full colored shots
@@uainjansun grey prototype images were released a couple years ago, colored product ones were released recently. Certain panels are missing on the new ones, which could suggest improvements
@@chrisquibell6434 that's what I'm saying
@@hornet_prime8428 They are unfortunately now confirmed dead.
Wow, just a few days ago I was looking for any characters that would transform into a ship and now I see this. Yep, that is exactly what I had in mind.
I would like a Flight mode for SKY BURST, for example a B-24 LIBERATOR or maybe a B-17 FLYING FORTRESS and not a ship. The name SKYBURST will make sense.
That could be really cool! Quite a bizarre choice to make him a ship and not air related
This figure should be named “Jetfire rediscovers mass shifting”.
Haha yes lol!
If this was a real transformer it would be so huge
Very true!
like a really REALLY huge one
I’d love to see this made to scale with the other figs. Absolutely massive jetfire boat next to tiny Optimus truck
Honestly this makes me think of the rotf ransack and I'd love to see someone like toyworld to make a updated version of him
Toyworld Aerolite is the closest you'll get to a ransack
wwll jetfire alt mode is Battle cruiser Hood which the ship was sunk by battleship bismarck on may 24 1942
Woah 😮 this looks bloody amazing!!! How is this even jetfire?! Toyworld is out of this world in everything except quality, a shame otherwise all these figures would be perfect!!!
Their engineering is very good but quality not so much sadly :(
@@PrimeVsPrime The two weapons combine and form an alternative stand for the ship too.
U remind me of a RUclipsr I used to watch thank u for doing these reviews I havnt seen anything tf related in years
We need more old timer transformers. Have a transformers as a b17 or a battleship would be awesome
Looks like HMS Dreadnought to me, which was would be an awesome transformer as it was the biggest, baddest battleship of its time.
If u got a new studio series Jetfire Dont forget to post a comparison picture with Toyworld Jetfire and Studio series Jetfire
I like that he transforms into a battle ship but it’s not accurate to his robot mode height
True! A lot of mass shifting I guess lol
Well ya its a toy not a real boat. Lol
In the comics, Jetfire transformed into a portion of the USS Maine, after waking up from his crash on earth.
considering that in rotf his alt mode was roughly 33 meters in length the hms warpsite here would make him titan sized huge and out of scale but still an interesting idea of ww2 jetfire
The bridge section coming loose is an easy fix. Just treat the small section above the loose point like a screw and turn it right to tighten or left (which happens naturally during transformation) to loosen it. also the first section that folds back next to the main bridge SNAPS hard into a flat position rather than a kind of loose angled one. Cheers fellow enthusiast.
New coloured shots (production samples?) of their Shatter were released on September 20. It's undergone some reworking since the original grey prototypes and the jet mode is now clearly suffering for the benefit of the other two; though I'm not convinced it was a worthwhile change from the original design.
Just bought it!! Thanks for the review!
Wow the engineering is awsome I wonder what it'll be like in five years
Probably beyond believable haha
The ship is actaully the hms hood, a ww2 and ww1 battleship that was sunk by kms Bismarck in ww2
This jetfire looks amazing honestly!
QC fails aside, this should've been priced a little closer to reason. But, it's Toyworld, their older CHUG scaled stuff wasn't really that much cheaper, either. Looks like this thing was made specifically with SS05 in mind. Otherwise, for anyone with SS32 or 44, there's no reason to go with this over SS35. (Even then, I think that the DNA Design upgrade kit for SS44 has some stuff that lets you use their Jetwing pack with SS05 as well as the SS32 mold...and that's just cheaper than this thing.)
"Optimus! Take my parts! And you'll be heavy like you've never known!"
I would say HMS Revenge or any Revenge Class British Battleship. The superstructure of this model battleship is the key feature
This is the pre-1924 Warspite.
HMS Warspite aus der Zeit von 1915 schon eher selten, echt gelungens Schiffsmodel der Roboter wäre so Groß das Jet Fire sogar Godzilla herausfordern kann🎉
I was thinking about getting the ss jetfire but now I will get this one because I love ships.
The ship mode is bad ass!
Great review as always bro!
Just wanna ask if ur going to review the Wreck n Rule Leadfoot and Masterdominus 2 pack?
4:07 bro I got stunned at this part.. for real..
I would love to see a large enough figure for the SR-71 black bird Jetfire to keep robot kibble actually in the jet mode. I know that's wishful thinking, but I really would love that.
Suddenly I want to see a transformer turning into a Bismarck class battleship.
Imagine a transformer turning into the Bismark itself. That would be dope asf.
What a great figure🔥.Will.miss TW😭
It’s very cool design!
I know it’s a pain to repair pricey figures, but do u think using Rejuvenate or any other floor restoration solvents will help tighten some of those joints or loose sections?
this figure is stunning would be nice if they remolded this into a Tidal Wave figure as we over due one of those figures
It would be cool if we got more of these. These are just some ideas of mine.
Ironhide: M4 Sherman
Ratchet: One of those WW2 medic jeeps
Jetfire (WW2 instead of WW1): Either a B29 or B17
Megatron: Maus
I could defently see many of the old timers from bay verse with jet fire taking forms like this.
Though I'm still curious to see the ones who turned into the first wheel lol.
MY FATHER? WHY, HE WAS A WHEEL - THE FIRST WHEEL!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE TRANSFORMED INTO?! NOTHING!!! BUT HE DID SO WITH HONOR, DIGNITY, DAMMIT!!! *farts out parachute*
as a HMS Warspite (03) fan... I very much approve of this
fun fact: the HMS Warspite (03) has the most battle star in the Royal Navy and also in a few times she has like moved herself in her service life
He might actually be the HMS Hood now that I think about it
Cool vid bro amazing figure but I will say when you asked about the turbines ships actually have engines that run on turbines especially the turbine diesel warships of WW1
I just got mine today I'm excited with it except the front of the ship doesn't stay pegged in all the way
second! great review really ncie alt mode and robot mode I like this WW1 concept for transformers and this works really nicely weith jetfire.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Very nice jetfire!
Absolutely!
FINALLY, ITS BEEN SO LONG
Yesss haha!
Just imagine how big jet fire would of been if this was his actual transformation in the movie
nice concept to combine an old warship with Jet Fire. But I already know Jetfire as SR-71 Blackbird (His identity is stronger as a fighter jet)
I need to see this next to the Titan tidal wave release
I believe that is actually the WW1 battleship Bayern or battlecruiser Renown (pre WW2 refit)
I'm not a Transformers fan (got this recommended because it's a battleship) but this one is pretty cool with it's big beard, axe, and being a battleship.
I personally don't think it's Warspite though. The hull looks fairly dreadnought-y but the pagoda mast and fore-half of the superstructure look Japanese. The twin straight funnels and the structure just before turret 3 look like they're from a QE class though. That along with some other inconsistencies lead me to believe that it's a mashup of what the designer thought of/found when he/she looked at images of battleships. Which is still cool.
This is an accurate design of Warspite as-built, pre-modernisation (pre-1924). This would be what she looked like during WWI including Jutland, but subsequently she had 2 further refits that turned her into the image you're thinking of.
This one might be based on USS Texas. Right?
My grandpa piloted one of those before. Even I've been on one.
The ship that jetfire transforms into is the hms hood from British navy from ww1 to ww2 that unfortunately meet its end against the German battleship bismarck
Making the Prime Jetfire gun connect to the pack! Would give the pack a purpose...
It looks like a mixture of hms hood, USS Nevada, and warspite, but overall it is an amazing figure
They probably could’ve called it tidal wave to because it seems like hasbro has forgotten him entirely! Lol.
It looks like the Admiral class Battlecruiser.
Ah yes, a Queen Elizabeth class battleship, that happens to be a transformer... LOVE IT
I have a question does the combination connections work on the rotf / dorm prime figures
It was a dream for me to see a boat / train and plane transform in the Bay’s movies ! But sadly it Will never happen …
The ship I think from what I can detect is a bunch of ships put together the hull and keel might be a dreadnought or hms dreadnought like design the superstructure turrets and funnels are an admiral class battlecruiser (like the hms hood) and the guns appear to be 15 inch guns
It is HMS Warspite.
Says so on the packaging.
@@rinzler9171 the superstructure looks a lot like the hood that’s why I said that
This battle ship transformer is my favourite cause I always live battleships and transformers
This figure, like a lot of toyworld figures, looks amazing and is incredibly designed, but simply doesn't have the QC to match
It may be the hood, battle cruiser sunk by the battleship Bismarck
We got update on Shatter and TW also planned others WW2 figures so I don't know
As for what ship this Jetfire has for an altmode-- Warspite only had 1 funnel. I think this might be HMS Hood.
This is the pre-modernisation WWI configuration.
It would be cool to get a ww2 style optimus prime to go with this version of jetfire
Probably one I'm gonna have to get...
The Battleship design resembles HMS Malaya or HMS Barham which are Queen Elizabeth Class Battleships and they all had this very same layout however in the case of HMS Queen Elizabeth Warspite and Valiant They Received Extensive Reconstruction in the late 1930s of which made them look very much like a new ship with superstructure looking more like the recent King George V Class with the octopoidal Bridge. However this Transformers Figure has to be one of the most detailed and badass I have ever seen.
As someone also said in the comments, it could also be a revenge class battleship
@@williamcote4208 I completely understand your reasoning behind that. but did the revenge class have just a single funnel?
@@joshbradshaw6974 Double-funnel was Warspite and other QEs pre-1924, when they refitted into the single funnel (then the 1934 refits you mentioned). The R-class is based on the QE-class so they would look very similar.
Jetfire is basically a live action weaponizer
NOOOO they can’t go yet! I was hoping they would do a Lockdown figure that was in scale with the SS line😭
This cool video mister primevsprime
Mr.*
Thank you very much!
@@PrimeVsPrime hey, can you review Fantoys Hannibal?
Went from jet fire to titanic real quick
It looks like there is a hinge on the antennae/flag pole on the front of the ship so it's not so in the way in vehicle mode.
I think you'd have to be so careful with this guy - he's like the poster child for why rubbery plastic is sometimes a good idea. Those antennae & masts would freak me the hell out.
the warship looks like KMS bismark and a HMS hood refit mixed up
I really stared at the battleship and it's really resembles HMS Hood.
What happened to the Jetfire combination ? Like how did it broke?
The price of a masterpiece, the qc of a mainline.
Worse than mainline in some regards sadly :(
Any transforming boat is a win-win for me
Finally its here aaaaaaaaa!!!
Awesome toys.
I can’t find him with the link it’s not on it
He’s sadly out of stock indefinitely now so store asked just to post link with their in stock inventory
Wouldn't this make jet-fire a titan transformers like Trypticon metroplex and omega supreme or the combinders like G1 devastator?
one question: do the propellers turn?
a battleship makes so much more sense for an old jetfire than a sr-71, although the name doesn't really work in this case. the battleship looks beautiful, and, as much as i dislike he bayverse robot designs, the ones in this series look great for what they are. personally, i think they look even better than the official designs from the movies. i love this ww1/ww2 series of 'what if' figures. the engineering is pretty insane. if i could afford them, i'd definitely pick them up. please do a video on the build-a-figure starscream. if you do, please show how it is constructed from the parts. great video, as always.
Nah the Blackbird makes sense to me. Proper big relatively older in our terms, but still the fastest in the sky. It also fits his G1 style a bit albeit the color scheme took some liberties. I think the Sr-71 tho as an alt mode for an experienced and battle hardened deception makes so much sense. Big old and superior.
I have the blue starscream one (thundercracker?) wich as far as it seems is exactly the same mold as the build a figure: I'd say that engeniring wise its almost great, there's only one step in the transformation thats hellish in regards of the non existing clereance though the pieces involved appear to be resilient enough and only the pins that hold them together could eventually fail but as they are i dont think theyre impossible to replace. Other than the above mentioned hellish step, the transformation is surprisingly easy and quick with no other instances that make me fear for the longevity of the product (there are 2 tiny posts in the neck tabs that i broke rigth away the first time i transformed it into robot, however they seem to be redundant as there was no negative outcome). The worst issue i've had have been the dreadfull loossenes of the elbows and posibly the knees in the future, both sets of joints for some reasson are made out of die cast (metal with metal) wich results in insanely low friction, as of now one of the elbows is completly lose and the other is barely capable of mantaining position, im yet to make an atempt at tigthning them up by adding extra tickness with some substance as that seems to be the only possible way to do it and in the case that it works out that would take care of the figure's mayor issue
@@leonake4194 for loose joints i use either 'kiki', which is made just for tightening joints on figures (although i've heard several times that it's basically just floor polish, but i've never tried floor polish), or i use clear nail polish.
the kiki can be dripped into joints while they are still connected/assembled, whereas, with the nail polish, you need to take the joints apart and coat them while disassembled, and then let dry completely.
downsides with kiki is that you will need to do several applications to get the effect that you get when you paint both sides of the joint with nail polish. nail polish can also flake off a little when you move the joints at first, but will also stop just as quickly.
Nice, they used a Queen Elizabeth-class. They had 2 funnels before their modernizaion.
the cane can be a gun as well just for a thought
A shadow moves across the water in pursuit
It splits the waves, commands the sea and defies the wind
Instilling fear among its prey, feels nought for itself
Ahead the sea lies calm awaiting the storm
Looking at it's battleship mode, I believe it's a mashup of an American hull like the Arizona and a Javanese superstructure with British style turrets. It's not specifically one battleship.
The funnels are slightly wrong but the superstructure and hull shape and turret arrangement suggests HMS Hood was the intended ship.
@@aircraftcarrierwo-class See I thought that too, but the superstructure design isn't right.
The look is correct, look at pictures of pre-modernisation WWI photos.
I love that ship
The turbines on the hands is so he can open space bridges
I'm having a hard decision rn now someone help me should I get skyburst jetfire or studio series?
