  • This is my locally built 11 meter high crank up tilt over aluminium Ham Radio tower. I am using the SP1DX 6 band hex beam. It really is a great antenna. I am oh so happy with it. The tower is easy to use and so handy.

Very nice. My tower is a 65' crank up tilt over. So much easier with the cranking to stand and lower then muscling it in place. I have a Sirio 827 on top of my tower.

Very nice tower. Only thing that would make it better would be an electric winch instead of all the manual cranking

I would imagine you would have to be careful if there was any wind about? I can't see that still standing in a storm or strong wind?

so sweet do you have any videos showing the building of the antenna? can you tell me approximate cost to have it built>?

I paid 1400 euro all done, I heard aluminium is hard to get and gone very expensive.

Great big spider web! Good job. Is that a brake winch?

I am just watching your channel. Yes it's a very cheap auto brake winch. Fool proof. Hex beam works great. 73's JD.
