I tried peanut butter and pecans and its soooooo good! Usually my family refuses to eat my vegan food but they love this. Also, for anyone who doesn't have the seeds, use 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast and 3 1/2 tablespoons of water.
so excited to make these! I've been vegetarian for 4 months but only became vegan this week so I'm learning all these recipes making me so hungry !!! :)
Just baked the Chocolate muffins! Didn't use peanut butter, just added crushed almond nuts and the unsweetened cocoa powder, yum..they came out great! Thank you so much for this easy recipe, first time baking and surprised by the results.
For anyone who wants to use coconut flour, use 1/4 of a cup instead of 3/4 cup. Coconut flour absorbs all of the liquid. I had to make them twice but they were so good! I did the chocolate and peanut butter.
Great recipe and. Very simple and healthy. I like how versatile these are and being able to add any ingredients you want to adapt to your preferences. It’s a keeper! Thank you
I made this with 1/2C walnuts and 2 bananas. I used an egg as I'm not vegan. I also used a muffin top pan instead of a regular muffin pan. They are super yummy!!!
Hi Joanna, I've just baked these muffins (Banana & Chocolate Peanut Butter). They are lovely. Banana ones turned out a bit too moist, but tasted good. My husband loved the chocolate ones. I love your recipes because I can share with my family while other "healthy" recipes are quite often for one person and take a long time to make for whole family. I am looking forward to try more of your recipes. Thans Joanna ❤︎
Thank you so much for all you do Joanna! I have been eating clean for about 4 months now and I sometimes get bored of my plain recipes, finding your channel has been amazing. I have tried some of the chia puddings you showed in one of your other videos and oh my god!! I'd get up looking forward to breakfeast, can't wait to try some of these! The banana one looks heavenly.
Glorious yum yum, just made them only thing is if your useing gas its gas mark 4 and you must leave them in longer I left out the nuts as my son has a nut allergy
I tried them but I added cinnamon, apples and nutmeg and not only do they smell and taste amazing but they're really easy and quick to make. They're definietly gonna become a regular recipe for me. :)
Love these muffins.. not only they are so flavourful, they are sugar-free, and can serve as a base to other flavours I can add according to my liking!!! Thank you Joanna! Love your cooking and workout videos! You are such an inspiration for fit, healthy living! Keep up the good work and continue posting!
i combined the banana and chocolate recipe and added two tablespoons of wheat germ. they turn out great but i need to bake them more than triple amount of the suggested time to get them firm. btw nice recipe
I used the base recipe and added the zest and juice of one lemon along with a half cup of oats to thicken it. I needed to bake it longer to brown them up. But it turned out very tasty! Thanks for the recipe 😊
I tried the chocolate muffins.....They were so so yummy but I did not add peanut butter cuz did not have it but it was super yummy.......Thanks Joanna😊
hey joanna! im your HUGE fan because you inspire me ALOT. YOU ARE GREAT. I always do share your work with my chubby sisters too. Im 20 and i weigh 62kgs and height is 5ft 3inchs.. and my major problem is my lower body structure. Its too fat than my upper body. Earlier this year, I tried your lower body workouts plus 30-50mins walk daily for abt 3-4months and followed all your instructions carefully but unfortunately, I couldn't continued this routine because of my periods got irregular. like i was started having periods every 7 days.plus acne started too. i got so upset and immediately stopped taking exercises. and been on 'progyluton' as my doctor prescribed me. now my periods got regular for two months but im afraid to restart those exercises. I REALLY REALLY want to take exercise daily and get a healthier and active lifestyle and I enjoy this alot but whenever I do my periods get irregular :( im in trouble Joanna PLEASE PLEASE help me out and suggest me what should I do. I'll be very thankful to you please REPPPPPLLLLLYYYYY. PLLLEEEEAAAASE. Show less
I was just thinking to myself "I need to make a healthy dessert for myself today!" and low and behold! lol I will for sure be making these. I am going to use a flax egg instead though and agave since that is all I have on hand at the moment. Excited to make the banana one!! might do banana chocolate chip instead of with nuts OR maybe actually add pecans since I have some! Great video! :)
I'm with you on being able to make great tasting healthy treats and these are fine examples... if they were sized at between 40 - 70 calories per, depending on how many "extra" goodies you add what with there being 25 calories in a single walnut. Also, 3 or 4 sitting on a small plate are very pleasing to look at and psychologically satisfying. Make a few different batches just as you have and you could serve one of each and still not break 150 calories. I have made batches of mini's that coverd all 5 food groups according to My Plate, vegetables, fruits, grains, dairy, and protein. Portion control is just as important as nutrition, especially in young people that are forming the eating habits they will continue through life.
Vegan is practically almost unknown of in Malaysia. I eat vegan most of the time and I'd say it's pretty easy to make and survive on vegan food but when there's a lot of yummy options around here, damn, it's very tempting lol. BTW, great recipe! I'd love to try this out!
I'm really enjoying your videos! I'm wondering if you've ever tried vinegar in your cupcake batter? It will make the cupcakes rise and be lighter and fluffy. I believe the vinegar reacts with the baking soda to make this happen.
I wish that you're my mother... My mum always buys unhealthy food! It's so hard for me to eat healthy... She doesn't understand... Anyway, love you! From Italy❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not a vegan but I'm open minded and will make these muffins one with chia seeds and other with 1 egg for taste remix. And healthy for my diabetic mom (she's Filipina).
thanks joanna for this muffins recipe..^.~d i love eat muffins but worried about the calories..now with this recipe,i can eat it with joy!^.^ thanks again..
