If you're not happy where you are, when you are, you'll never be happy. Or... I'll be happy when I'm dead. Or... Happiness is the opiate of the masses. Or... Better to be Socrates unhappy than a pig happy. (unsatisfied) Or... So once I'm happy, then what? Or... I'm both happy and never bored. But I've still got 24 hours to fill, every single day. The good news is, on the days I have nothing of note to fill those hours, I'm still neither bored nor unhappy. In many ways I'm like a dog lying on the grass or a cat sitting on the window sill in the sun. I'm ready to spring at any moment if called to action. But in the meantime, I'm just fine if I don't have to. Perhaps this is what eternity is like.
1) Figure out how to add value to people's lives 2) Learn how to sell that value 3) Master getting rejected 4) Mindset, being an entrepreneur is not normal, learn how to grow ( find people that are successful and get a mentor, do it and do it better) 5) Surround yourself with successful people. Learn that being successful is 'possible.' 6) Learn what your flaws are and delegate 7) Circumnavigate problems by NOT surrounding yourself with 'fools' ....surround yourself with persons with discernible experience Dan.
Some very good advice. I’m a 50+ female in a 22+ year abusive relationship trying to dig my way out and get my confidence back. I am an entrepreneur at heart and supported myself before this crazy relationship with a control freak. Surrounding yourself with the right people makes all the difference. God bress you guys coming from a good background. What you're not getting (thank god) is that starting from "zero" does not concern money. The point it's the environment you grow and live in.Real drama is having no family, no education, thus no mindset, not knowing what a "normal" life means, lacking selfesteem and love. All really solid, educated and diplomatically laid out info. Sorry for this long winded comment, I was inspired. I grew up in a very poor family and many of the issues you've presented here were very hard for me to progress past. They even liked to resurface after thinking I had passed them. I had to overcome tons of things. To start with, where are these wealthy people even at to surround yourself with and how on earth could you be in their circle?! I used a trick when i was a lot younger to overcome this one.... I was, at the time very into gems and fine minerals. I had no money, living in a van making $5-200 jewelry from quartz crystals and similar. I had a newborn and mama to support on a very very frayed shoestring. Everyone told me "go to the Tucson Gem Show". After a few years of hearing this i finally went. With less than 0 of a plan i had no idea at all what to do. A few of the guys i was around at the time got some day work with a company that has since shut down. I went with and worked for them for 3 days. I took no money from them and instead exchanged my payment for some of their minerals. This experience was ground breaking for me! I made almost nothing but it propelled something. I spent the next summer following jam bands around the USA selling food out of our van and some of the cheap jewelry i was making... all the while formulating my plan of attack for the next years show. That following year i attacked it like a tiger. I was broke, dirty, dreadlocked kid that no one wanted in their million dollar booths working, let alone talking to them. So i put on my best clothes (saying that is sort of a joke now lol) and went from room to room at the show, hotel to hotel asking for work. I was rejected over and over and over again. Many of them not even talking to me. One of the biggest promoters there would not even walk near me as his assistant shuffled me off and I fought to talk to him. I finally got him to tell me flat out no himself lol. It was the shortest and most rude conversation i've ever had. (Found out later he was a bigshot lol, didnt care at the time, bigshots are just people) Anyway, i endured days and days of this torment, going to hundreds of business booths before one guy finally told me "I dont have any work but i have a friend that might need some help". I was so relieved I almost cried! After an hour or so he confirmed his friend would need help when he gets off his flight from Czech Republic. In couple days i met with the guy. He told me the type of work, packaging minerals and unpacking them for display. His team was repulsed by him hiring me, this dirty dready kid sleeping in his van with his newborn. I didnt care, i was there to learn! He told me i would get $6 per hour which was at or near min wage at the time. I promptly responded with "I dont want your money". This of course threw him and he asked me to explain. "Keep me fed and give me rocks." I told him. Well, this of course was a huge relief for him as the was 18hrs per day of back breaking work. (literally threw my back out one year) He told his friends, you know that story. By the next year he had fired his top employee (100k ish per show paid to her) and i was running most of his show. From set up to tear down, even handling the fire chief and hiring and firing his crew. He put me in sales after 2 years as well as my other jobs. I worked for him under what i like to consider an apprenticeship for 6 years. I ended up his top person under his wife. Never taking money the whole time. Feeding ourselves only off of what i would make selling my jewelry and his rocks. He paid me with what he considered his trash rocks. In this experience i met very wealthy people from around the world, people behind things we use every day like funding the cellphone and even sheiks. I got to talk with many of them even though i was never at my bosses business dinners. It was hard to get used to some things. Like never approach him for anything if hes talking with someone. He even went to meetings that were about what to do about dreadies like me that were flocking there and making that scene look trashy and supported our lifestyle saying we make the best workers hes ever had and they should all start hiring us. I started finding people for his associates to hire as well. This level of immersion into a life among such wealthy people was a serious game changer for me. It literally changed my life! By year 2 i was making well over 50k a year, just from his trash rocks... still not taking a dime of his money for the work i did. I had networked and made valuable contacts across the market with people from around the world. Those contacts are for life too, this one sacrifice that I made, to work for this guy for free... handling a multi million dollar booth put me in front of all of the whos who of that trade. Instead of gaining contacts as a buyer, i gained contacts as an associate, a friend, a like minded person, and was seen as an equal in the trade by the time it was over and I went independent. Now, though I dont sell minerals much anymore, I can walk into nearly any booth or mineral business and be shown respect and hospitality. People still look to me as an authority on some things too. Today I dont have the biggest collection of minerals or even close but i do have some of the world's rarest things in my collection. The biggest gain though was that flip of mentality. I was bitching about money once and my boss turned to me and said something i have never forgotten. "Moneys only job is spending". That really pissed me off at first, coming from someone so wealthy to say to me. I had never made more than like 250 usd per week in my life. Yet, after it sunk in it was immensely meaningful. I've since updated that by saying "Money is tool, its only job is spending." Like any tool, you can use it in good and bad ways. A hammers only job is pounding. Yet, I can leave a hammer in a toolbox and never use it, I can kill a man with it, I can use it to prop up a table or I can build a house. All are viable ways to use a hammer and money has just as many ways as well to spend. What has made me teeter though from that learning is being around family and friends from back home... They never left, nor had the experiences I did. Their mindset didn't change when mine did. At first i thought i could just share what i learned... Boy was I wrong! The list of horrible things from that is pretty big, including being robbed out of jealousy, out-casted, you name it. It's easy when you've been raised without money to fall back into that mindset too so just living around people like that is so huge. I had to learn that 10k was not very much money. That a million isn't either. No matter how much you think is a lot, it's that amount you will find yourself reaching for instead of surpassing. When you grow up poor and you hear a wealthy person say anything like "The people you surround yourself with is important" it feels dirty, wrong and straight up pisses you off. However its one of the most true statements ever. "In the next 5 years, your income (income, mentality, all of it) will match the 5 people closest to you." Today, I accept no man as boss over me. The man that gave me that opportunity, though I have not worked for him in 15 ish years, is the only man i have willingly called and still do call "My Boss". Michael David

If the group is mediocre then you will not achieve. When I was in my early twenties I followed my local friends who came from poor families. To this day they are poor. I broke away and now have a psychiatric practice and a commercial real estate business. I could see how they limited me.

I wish I had known about you 11 years ago. I was running a business of my deceased boyfriend and doing well. I listened to a cousin, who ironically had a business, talk me into walking away from the business and the assets. I have not been able to recover ever since. I had no one to go to for good advice.
As an entrepreneur you need to be a good problem solver and persistent. If you cannot find a way forward you must make one. You must also be very observant...there are opportunities all around you. You must also be courageous enough to move forward where others fear to tread. Being a nomad capitalist is like being a kid in a candy store to a natural entrepreneur. It multiplies the number of opportunities you will encounter in life many times over.

I was broke in Canada, then I saved and moved to another country. It was hard. But I think it's very hard to get ahead in western countries. At least I never fit in. We don't value entrepreneurship, our laws don't support it. We are inflexible and I just approach problems differently then anyone, any manager and what is usually called "taking charge". I moved, to China at first, I got lucky as well, met the right people and now I do quite well and employ about 100 people and I'm onto my third business. I have asked others to move, find a place with more opportunities, but they always refuse, even though I offer to pay. They are just scared and don't want to take a chance or be uncomfortable, so they stay where they are, which is miserable. I wish more North Americans would live in an Asian culture for a couple of years. I think it would make people more flexible and see there are many ways to do things.... unfortunately I do also meet a lot of people who do move, and then constantly state "things should be done this way, this is stupid, back home this is...." and so they never see the opportunity all-around them...being nice is also a way to get a head.....sigh. You come across as very nice and I think that's amazing.

Great video as always, Mr. Henderson. I would advise people who want to grow their business to know know their value and not to be afraid to charge handsomely for it. They should try to develop a wealthy clientele, do an excellent job for them, and watch the referrals pour in. I am a university professor and I own a tutoring business, but it doesn't matter if they are a landscaper or a tax attorney. If you target the affluent and do a great job for them, you will see your business grow.
Figure out what you're good at and interested in, that's MORALLY a good thing for people and society. Then focus almost exclusively on that one thing while only maintaining only the things needed to keep that one thing going. Work hard, accept only the help you need and exclude the rest (which is most of it). Give it time. Be patient. Fight hard. Then youll have it.
I really have to thank you for your 'free' content (I'm no where near a 6 figure entr!). I am on my second business which I started here in the USA as a side hussle (the first was very successful for many years), and after a couple of years and some losses and small gains, it's finally taking off, and now I'm looking to move to Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, which is gorgeous, and I can sell my tiny house here in the USA and get a HUGE house there for the same money) where I'll work with manufacturers there, and to also get my citizenship (by descent) in Poland. I am starting out on my wealth building journey seriously this year, and Ive got a lot more to learn being an immigrant in the US, but I’m willing to do the work. The one issue I have as an introvert is being able to let go of my natural tendencies to exist solo (this is my biggest comfort zone) or with very few solid inner circle members. This has impeded my openness to network and make new sets of acquaintances.

I thought I was the only one who received letters from the local Government that my ad was misleading, Tax issues, fines, problem employees who forget there employees, out of control landlords, business flooded, being served, marshals, sued at least once a year, and now a new one, A class action law suit.Yes it is lonely at the top and not easy to make $40,000 a month.
all the business advice youtubers, and e-grifters dont hammer home enough the reality that being able to talk your way into money is priceless. its understandable, given the fact that most can barely ask another person out on a date, but it really is at the top of the list. No tools, no inventory, nothing but your words.
This was very informative and frankly super down to earth. I'm 22 and my goals are to have an income that gives me flexibility and the lifestyle I want, and most 9-5s just don't cut it. I've only recently started taking my life seriously, cutting down on bad habits, videogames, smoking, fostering good habits etc and I've realised there's different areas of my life I can focus on... health, social life, romance, hobbies.. and work life/career, which is something I've never thought seriously about before. Your videos help me greatly, thank you!

Great video, one aspect that we really share in common is the focus on niche kind of businesses/enterprises which is really help today as many business areas become super saturated in select industries. Over time those niches businesses/enterprises can develop into much larger business offerings and be a much bigger enterprise. My dad has a friend from many many years back who now co-owns a company that grosses over 120 million dollars a year with his business partner which is based in Asia and initially this man began with a very niche focus and only concentrating on select products and slowly scaling out over time. There is more to this story which I can elaborate on at later time but one other interesting point about this guy is he does not put himself out their and many people on the street would never assume that he had a 9 figure net worth as he focuses more on the action and execution of his enterprise rather then a glamorous lifestyle this enterprise could bring him. Sure, here in Taiwan, there is an ex basic sales rep who was pushed by Steve Jobs 30 years ago to sell more and more, from metal sheet tooling into metal components, then PC cases, then entire PC and now he, ups his group makes 150 BILLION US$ with Apple and others, even forced by them to buy the rotten Japan Sharp and get them out of bankruptcy :) cc @Nomad Capitalist

I don’t subscribe to the idea that it’s lonely at the top. That is a self limiting belief. The majority of people in society might not understand what you are doing, but that doesn’t mean you have to be lonely. You can find a core group of 5 or so friends that are wonderful, supportive friends. That’s all the amount of good friends the average person has as well. Being misunderstood by the masses doesn’t automatically equal loneliness. Edit: the rest of this is golden

The best advice he gave was at the beginning: "What can I do to help you"? Even if it is free, like he explained, it gets you in position with that customer. What he did not tell you: If you want a customer, try to start by being their customer first. As far as finding gurus, that sage that comes along in the movies does not come along that often, or they are just passing through quickly. You are becoming the guru by listening to others and by making mistakes. Look at cost benefit ratios. If it costs little time and money to try, then do it.
I love your content and success. You mentioned not having people around you that frustrate you. I think there's a risk in that policy you should consider. You need at least one contrarian who can force you to see things from another vantage point. Otherwise, you can find yourself surrounded by 'yes-men.' Love your "Go where you're treated best" philosophy. Best wishes.

Actually for a while I went to job interviews in restaurants because I wanted to start my own restaurant and needed capital. It might work, it didn't really for me but you're right, good contacts go a long way.

I love my wife, but I think she indirectly has been keeping me from growing because she has a very conformist and skeptical mindset and usually frowns upon my ideas.

Where do I meet people like you? Seems like the people I meet, have never thought about the things you talk about, or have any interest in the things you talk about.
Not sure where you are from but if in the US, look for meet up groups on finance, investing, wealth creation, real estate and the like. First thing if you want to be successful is to upgrade people you associate with. People just getting by associate with like minded individuals. Associate yourself with success oriented people.
How can I find out about putting US Dollars into a foreign Bank? I know you haven't converted into their funds I'm sure but how do you do the actual mechanics where could I find the information? Thank you for your patience
I've done sales. I was pretty good. It didn't help me at all in the future. I'm still looking for all the help I can get, and haven't found anything yet. I've failed many times. I don't want to do what everyone else is doing.
Sales is one way to make money quickly, but it's not the only way and it's not for everyone. One alternative is doing it the hard way - get a job, save like hell, accumulate your seed money then invest very carefully and wisely. Another alternative is to steal the heart of a rich person. Getting rich is not easy. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.
Hey Andrew, you’re absolutely right of course. I think I’d love to hear your views on scalability. For instance I’m starting up my fine furniture making wood shop but it requires a high skill level so that’s down to me making it work. Training others to be able to run the production so I can go out and sell is only a little bit possible because it takes 10 years to get good. So I’m also trying to start up a little market garden business as well and that when I plan it out looks like it can scale up quite well. One you can add value by just growing more but without too much extra effort, the other is based upon one’s own skills and so is locked into how many hours you can put into the work.
I don’t know: some things you say, I agree with, some things not. We make over $30,000,000 a year from our businesses, but I’m a bit turned off sometimes by the commentary. I’m reading your book, so that might be better when we decide which countries to invest in.

(Found out later he was a bigshot lol, didnt care at the time, bigshots are just people) Anyway, i endured days and days of this torment, going to hundreds of business booths before one guy finally told me "I dont have any work but i have a friend that might need some help".
I was so relieved I almost cried! After an hour or so he confirmed his friend would need help when he gets off his flight from Czech Republic. In couple days i met with the guy. He told me the type of work, packaging minerals and unpacking them for display. His team was repulsed by him hiring me, this dirty dready kid sleeping in his van with his newborn. I didnt care, i was there to learn! He told me i would get $6 per hour which was at or near min wage at the time. I promptly responded with "I dont want your money". This of course threw him and he asked me to explain. "Keep me fed and give me rocks." I told him. Well, this of course was a huge relief for him as the was 18hrs per day of back breaking work. (literally threw my back out one year) He told his friends, you know that story.
By the next year he had fired his top employee (100k ish per show paid to her) and i was running most of his show. From set up to tear down, even handling the fire chief and hiring and firing his crew. He put me in sales after 2 years as well as my other jobs. I worked for him under what i like to consider an apprenticeship for 6 years. I ended up his top person under his wife. Never taking money the whole time. Feeding ourselves only off of what i would make selling my jewelry and his rocks. He paid me with what he considered his trash rocks.
In this experience i met very wealthy people from around the world, people behind things we use every day like funding the cellphone and even sheiks. I got to talk with many of them even though i was never at my bosses business dinners. It was hard to get used to some things. Like never approach him for anything if hes talking with someone. He even went to meetings that were about what to do about dreadies like me that were flocking there and making that scene look trashy and supported our lifestyle saying we make the best workers hes ever had and they should all start hiring us. I started finding people for his associates to hire as well. This level of immersion into a life among such wealthy people was a serious game changer for me. It literally changed my life! By year 2 i was making well over 50k a year, just from his trash rocks... still not taking a dime of his money for the work i did. I had networked and made valuable contacts across the market with people from around the world. Those contacts are for life too, this one sacrifice that I made, to work for this guy for free... handling a multi million dollar booth put me in front of all of the whos who of that trade. Instead of gaining contacts as a buyer, i gained contacts as an associate, a friend, a like minded person, and was seen as an equal in the trade by the time it was over and I went independent. Now, though I dont sell minerals much anymore, I can walk into nearly any booth or mineral business and be shown respect and hospitality. People still look to me as an authority on some things too. Today I dont have the biggest collection of minerals or even close but i do have some of the world's rarest things in my collection.
The biggest gain though was that flip of mentality. I was bitching about money once and my boss turned to me and said something i have never forgotten. "Moneys only job is spending". That really pissed me off at first, coming from someone so wealthy to say to me. I had never made more than like 250 usd per week in my life. Yet, after it sunk in it was immensely meaningful. I've since updated that by saying "Money is tool, its only job is spending." Like any tool, you can use it in good and bad ways. A hammers only job is pounding. Yet, I can leave a hammer in a toolbox and never use it, I can kill a man with it, I can use it to prop up a table or I can build a house. All are viable ways to use a hammer and money has just as many ways as well to spend.
What has made me teeter though from that learning is being around family and friends from back home... They never left, nor had the experiences I did. Their mindset didn't change when mine did. At first i thought i could just share what i learned... Boy was I wrong! The list of horrible things from that is pretty big, including being robbed out of jealousy, out-casted, you name it. It's easy when you've been raised without money to fall back into that mindset too so just living around people like that is so huge. I had to learn that 10k was not very much money. That a million isn't either. No matter how much you think is a lot, it's that amount you will find yourself reaching for instead of surpassing.
When you grow up poor and you hear a wealthy person say anything like "The people you surround yourself with is important" it feels dirty, wrong and straight up pisses you off. However its one of the most true statements ever. "In the next 5 years, your income (income, mentality, all of it) will match the 5 people closest to you."
Today, I accept no man as boss over me. The man that gave me that opportunity, though I have not worked for him in 15 ish years, is the only man i have willingly called and still do call "My Boss".

If the group is mediocre then you will not achieve. When I was in my early twenties I followed my local friends who came from poor families. To this day they are poor. I broke away and now have a psychiatric practice and a commercial real estate business. I could see how they limited me.

I wish I had known about you 11 years ago. I was running a business of my deceased boyfriend and doing well. I listened to a cousin, who ironically had a business, talk me into walking away from the business and the assets. I have not been able to recover ever since. I had no one to go to for good advice.
As an entrepreneur you need to be a good problem solver and persistent. If you cannot find a way forward you must make one. You must also be very observant...there are opportunities all around you. You must also be courageous enough to move forward where others fear to tread. Being a nomad capitalist is like being a kid in a candy store to a natural entrepreneur. It multiplies the number of opportunities you will encounter in life many times over.

I was broke in Canada, then I saved and moved to another country. It was hard. But I think it's very hard to get ahead in western countries. At least I never fit in. We don't value entrepreneurship, our laws don't support it. We are inflexible and I just approach problems differently then anyone, any manager and what is usually called "taking charge". I moved, to China at first, I got lucky as well, met the right people and now I do quite well and employ about 100 people and I'm onto my third business. I have asked others to move, find a place with more opportunities, but they always refuse, even though I offer to pay. They are just scared and don't want to take a chance or be uncomfortable, so they stay where they are, which is miserable. I wish more North Americans would live in an Asian culture for a couple of years. I think it would make people more flexible and see there are many ways to do things.... unfortunately I do also meet a lot of people who do move, and then constantly state "things should be done this way, this is stupid, back home this is...." and so they never see the opportunity all-around them...being nice is also a way to get a head.....sigh.

Great video as always, Mr. Henderson. I would advise people who want to grow their business to know know their value and not to be afraid to charge handsomely for it. They should try to develop a wealthy clientele, do an excellent job for them, and watch the referrals pour in. I am a university professor and I own a tutoring business, but it doesn't matter if they are a landscaper or a tax attorney. If you target the affluent and do a great job for them, you will see your business grow.

Figure out what you're good at and interested in, that's MORALLY a good thing for people and society.
Then focus almost exclusively on that one thing while only maintaining only the things needed to keep that one thing going.
Work hard, accept only the help you need and exclude the rest (which is most of it).
Give it time. Be patient. Fight hard.
Then youll have it.
I really have to thank you for your 'free' content (I'm no where near a 6 figure entr!). I am on my second business which I started here in the USA as a side hussle (the first was very successful for many years), and after a couple of years and some losses and small gains, it's finally taking off, and now I'm looking to move to Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, which is gorgeous, and I can sell my tiny house here in the USA and get a HUGE house there for the same money) where I'll work with manufacturers there, and to also get my citizenship (by descent) in Poland. I am starting out on my wealth building journey seriously this year, and Ive got a lot more to learn being an immigrant in the US, but I’m willing to do the work. The one issue I have as an introvert is being able to let go of my natural tendencies to exist solo (this is my biggest comfort zone) or with very few solid inner circle members. This has impeded my openness to network and make new sets of acquaintances.

I like the philosophy of surrounding yourself with experience. People who have been there and made the mistakes. As they saying goes; “You have to learn from others mistakes, because you’re not going to live long enough to make them all yourself.”

So many self-made multimillionaire entrepreneurs (myself included) start their success stories with lessons they learned while cold calling. I will also add that I cold called for 20 years before I started killing it financially.

I thought I was the only one who received letters from the local Government that my ad was misleading, Tax issues, fines, problem employees who forget there employees, out of control landlords, business flooded, being served, marshals, sued at least once a year, and now a new one, A class action law suit.Yes it is lonely at the top and not easy to make $40,000 a month.
all the business advice youtubers, and e-grifters dont hammer home enough the reality that being able to talk your way into money is priceless. its understandable, given the fact that most can barely ask another person out on a date, but it really is at the top of the list. No tools, no inventory, nothing but your words.
This was very informative and frankly super down to earth. I'm 22 and my goals are to have an income that gives me flexibility and the lifestyle I want, and most 9-5s just don't cut it. I've only recently started taking my life seriously, cutting down on bad habits, videogames, smoking, fostering good habits etc and I've realised there's different areas of my life I can focus on... health, social life, romance, hobbies.. and work life/career, which is something I've never thought seriously about before. Your videos help me greatly, thank you!

Great video, one aspect that we really share in common is the focus on niche kind of businesses/enterprises which is really help today as many business areas become super saturated in select industries. Over time those niches businesses/enterprises can develop into much larger business offerings and be a much bigger enterprise. My dad has a friend from many many years back who now co-owns a company that grosses over 120 million dollars a year with his business partner which is based in Asia and initially this man began with a very niche focus and only concentrating on select products and slowly scaling out over time. There is more to this story which I can elaborate on at later time but one other interesting point about this guy is he does not put himself out their and many people on the street would never assume that he had a 9 figure net worth as he focuses more on the action and execution of his enterprise rather then a glamorous lifestyle this enterprise could bring him. Sure, here in Taiwan, there is an ex basic sales rep who was pushed by Steve Jobs 30 years ago to sell more and more, from metal sheet tooling into metal components, then PC cases, then entire PC and now he, ups his group makes 150 BILLION US$ with Apple and others, even forced by them to buy the rotten Japan Sharp and get them out of bankruptcy :) cc @Nomad Capitalist

I don’t subscribe to the idea that it’s lonely at the top. That is a self limiting belief. The majority of people in society might not understand what you are doing, but that doesn’t mean you have to be lonely. You can find a core group of 5 or so friends that are wonderful, supportive friends. That’s all the amount of good friends the average person has as well. Being misunderstood by the masses doesn’t automatically equal loneliness.

The best advice he gave was at the beginning: "What can I do to help you"? Even if it is free, like he explained, it gets you in position with that customer. What he did not tell you: If you want a customer, try to start by being their customer first. As far as finding gurus, that sage that comes along in the movies does not come along that often, or they are just passing through quickly. You are becoming the guru by listening to others and by making mistakes. Look at cost benefit ratios. If it costs little time and money to try, then do it.
I love your content and success. You mentioned not having people around you that frustrate you. I think there's a risk in that policy you should consider. You need at least one contrarian who can force you to see things from another vantage point. Otherwise, you can find yourself surrounded by 'yes-men.' Love your "Go where you're treated best" philosophy. Best wishes.
There is a huge difference between people with differing opinions (which is good), and nasty, obnoxious people who view their insults as "truth telling". Sometimes a jerk is just a jerk.

Actually for a while I went to job interviews in restaurants because I wanted to start my own restaurant and needed capital. It might work, it didn't really for me but you're right, good contacts go a long way.
This is your best video, concise practical information. You are not responsible for other people's happiness. Avoid people who chose to stay in the same place.

Where do I meet people like you? Seems like the people I meet, have never thought about the things you talk about, or have any interest in the things you talk about.
Not sure where you are from but if in the US, look for meet up groups on finance, investing, wealth creation, real estate and the like. First thing if you want to be successful is to upgrade people you associate with. People just getting by associate with like minded individuals. Associate yourself with success oriented people.
How can I find out about putting US Dollars into a foreign Bank? I know you haven't converted into their funds I'm sure but how do you do the actual mechanics where could I find the information? Thank you for your patience
I've done sales. I was pretty good. It didn't help me at all in the future. I'm still looking for all the help I can get, and haven't found anything yet. I've failed many times. I don't want to do what everyone else is doing.
Sales is one way to make money quickly, but it's not the only way and it's not for everyone. One alternative is doing it the hard way - get a job, save like hell, accumulate your seed money then invest very carefully and wisely. Another alternative is to steal the heart of a rich person. Getting rich is not easy. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.

Hey Andrew, you’re absolutely right of course. I think I’d love to hear your views on scalability. For instance I’m starting up my fine furniture making wood shop but it requires a high skill level so that’s down to me making it work. Training others to be able to run the production so I can go out and sell is only a little bit possible because it takes 10 years to get good.
So I’m also trying to start up a little market garden business as well and that when I plan it out looks like it can scale up quite well. One you can add value by just growing more but without too much extra effort, the other is based upon one’s own skills and so is locked into how many hours you can put into the work.
Why don't you hire someone else to sell for u while u do the artisan work
