By investing, they secure wealth for future generations, highlighting the importance of financial literacy and stock market investing for building a better financial future.
The common belief that a stable job leads to financial success contrasts with the approach of billionaires, who focus on entrepreneurship, investing, and building passive income streams through long-term strategies and calculated risks methods not typically taught in traditional career paths. Most people are unaware of these alternative principles that can lead to greater wealth

Thanks for this! I can make a "want to read" shelf on goodreads now :D PS. I took your comment, passed to ChatGPT and it generated a list of links to goodreads for me. Amazing and so much simpler than searching myself!
Key takeaways:- 1) put yourself in scenarios where you'll just have to do the task 2) do not focus on the end goal, but on the next step of achieving it( the end goal seems far and impossible, so it discourages us, make a plan on how to achieve it and divide it into steps, then focus on only the very next step, which is more simple and achievable)
Engaging with books has significantly elevated my perspective on investing. True wealth isn't built through mere savings; financial freedom stems from strategic investments. I've learned that accumulating wealth hinges on making prudent investment decisions|
This intrigues me. I've looked up financial advisors online, but finding one to connect with is a bit difficult. Do you mind if I ask for your recommendation??
@@DamienMorales-v5p Julianne Iwersen Niemann a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
I have read most of these, though, I used Audiobooks, to listen while at work. I'm a slow reader and have limited time. I found that if instead of listening to music while working, I can self improve while earning money at my main job. I completed around 40 or so. Thanks Mark!
The world will be much more better and filled with more rich people if only everyone has the mindset on investing in their future, not thinking of how to fill their stomach presently. Having a mindset of growing money rather than spending or saving it, is the beginning of gaining financial freedom
Thanks for this insight, I’ve always been scared of getting into an investment because of how difficult the economy is and how much money I need to sort out bills and also on groceries. I’ll have to consider investing more than thinking about what I get presently
Stock investment has always been off the chart, it’s either you’re good at it or worse. It’s better to learn from an expert than venturing into stock market on your own 👌
The best part of this video for me is how these books are categorized into various phases of evolution (not necessarily linear). Thank you Mark, I could find at least 1 of my favorites in most categories: 1. Master your Mind (Psychology of Money) 2. Develop Great Habits (Essentialism). 3. Build High Value Skills (Mastery) 4. Personal Finance (One Upon Wall Street). 5. Don’t Sell Your Time 6. Find Your Angle (Blue Ocean Strategy) 7. Drive Up Demand 8. Become a Leader (Start with the Why). 9. Scale a Business (Good to Great). 10. Follow World Events (The Changing World Order)
I'm reading so much financial books because I don't want to live the same way as my parents. That sounds bad, but I don't blame my parents for not budgeting and saving because they are not financially literate. As an 18 year old I hope to implement healthy financial habits young so that it gradually becomes natural for me as I become a parent. Thank you for your recommendations. It really helps a lot of us
@@ramprasadtian As someone who studied psychology in school a lot of our money beliefs are very much rooted in how our parents handled money & what we saw growing up so its okay to say that and it makes plenty of sense ❤
Sir, you are a legend! The content is excellent, and your studio is fantastic! And then the special effects. The delivery! Wow! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with the world! 🌎❤
Mark this is one of your best vids yet! It’s often challenging to narrow down which books to read and who to listen to with all the information that’s available these days. I really appreciate the short list and having them categorised to which stage of the journey you’re in. Your personal narrative with each key learning was the absolute cherry on top. Thank you for all the valuable content you put out!
These are fantastic books, having read ~70% of these, I highly recommend picking them up, and not relying on short summaries of the lessons contained. Adding about 50% of the remaining books to my list now, as I've heard these recommended a few times elsewhere.
I really like Mark's style and advice. After watching this video I bought all the books on audible. I'm 100% committed to getting through all of them. I'm on my 6th book in 3 weeks. It's been a fantastic journey so far. Not only am I learning a lot but it's a great distraction from other stresses in life. Very thankful to Mark
Mark you are doing the world a favor. I appreciate you taking the time to share your wisdom with others. I always hear people saying, "I just want to be a millionaire." and I always wondered, so what about KEEPING a million? Getting rich is one thing, but KEEPING and maintaining riches is another story. Stay blessed 🤍🙏🏼🪽
Is not even the money. People what to feel what they think the million dollar in their pocket will give them as feelings. And they get there just for the money (if no growth personal and spiritual is happening) and news flash...the feelings are not there. Then they chase even more and the race never ends. We want the feeling of abundace and peace and contentment and that is all inside of ourselves
He basically summarized the books he read but it's crucial to read the books yourself to retain all the information. I've read a lot of these books & he's on point. Well done video.

Mark, I have always been sceptical about financial gurus and “3 steps to become millionaire” books and courses but have to admit that you are very different. I literally learn as I listen to you. Whatever I can validate or confirm based on my knowledge and experience I find very true, everything else - I would say I trust you on that and believe you. The idea of categorizing all the great books based on where you stand financially is brilliant on its own. Thank you for sharing and take care.

One quick book is missing: Fast Track to Fortune by Nathan West. It takes about 1.5 hours to finish, and it gave me an idea of what I want to read about more, so I would definitely recommend that one.
@@ybwang7124 no problem if you believe so, but to put it into a context, that sentences actually comes from the Christian believe. One more thing, I always look forward to your content brother, keep up the good work.
It’s not rocket science. I got into the stock market and started investing in some stocks. Long story short, I blew my account and lost it all with one wrong move. Jonas Herman, a licensed fiduciary is the brain behind my success. I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $10k spread across stocks (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, and ETFs, for the long term. Now with over 77k in roi, I sit back, and just reinvest at intervals while I focus on my career and family.
I started investing in the stock market because of dividends. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and earn more money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can pass that on to your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks over the years; I continue to buy more today and will continue to do so until the price lowers even further.

Reading books has really skyrocket the way I think about investing. Indeed, no one has ever got rich by saving money. In this new year, If you want to become financially free, You need to Invest. I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments.
There are so many books out there and they all come from different perspectives. I believe to get rich you need these - having the knowledge and foresight, taking action and using leverage wherever you can. To get the knowledge you may have to spend hours and hours studying and researching something you think might be the next big thing, having foresight is just listening to what your gut tells you.
Great advice. I am so tired of hearing a lot of my friends always talk about what they will do but never actually do it. People like the sound of getting rich but don’t want to put in the effort. I paid a lot of money to enrol in a computer course to force myself into action and now I have a great job

Such a fantastic video - articulated in a brilliant natural flow from one book to the next. Really enjoyed the recommendations some of which I've come across before but it is always worth checking them out again. Worth watching a few times to get the gist of the types of books suggested here.
I'm 17 years old and currently on a goal of reading a book a week, I'm going to be checking out all of these books and plan to read all of them by the time I graduate high school so I can have as much knowledge on finance and developing productive habits that will help me attain my goals of becoming financially free. The journey starts today for me and I have big goals and dreams for my next coming years and I just want to thank you Mark for spreading this knowledge and information that is creating more productive, more successful, and more happy people day by day.

The power of reading is amazing. Compounding knowledge, bettering skills and widening your focus. Is there any single habit more conducive to personal growth?
Mark, your video is a treasure trove of wisdom! As someone who's also navigated the journey from zero to millions, I can't help but resonate with your insights. Your mention of "Secrets of The Millionaire Mind" took me back to my early days, when I too had to wrestle with the negative connotations around wealth. It's a hurdle many of us face, and overcoming it is indeed the first step towards financial freedom. Your emphasis on the difference between the rich and the wealthy is spot on. It's not about the flashy cars or the diamond rings, it's about the freedom and control over one's life. That's the true wealth. Your reference to "The Magic of Thinking Big" reminded me of my own journey. I too struggled in school, but found my stride in the real world, where I could apply my interests and passions. It's a testament to the fact that traditional education isn't the only path to success. The concept of "The Winner Effect" is fascinating. It's a testament to the power of positive reinforcement and the importance of setting achievable goals. Your mention of "Think and Grow Rich" brought back memories of my own 'burn the ships' moment. It's when you have no option but to succeed that you truly tap into your potential. Your video is a masterclass in wealth creation, Mark. It's a testament to your experience and wisdom. Thanks for sharing your journey and the lessons you've learned along the way. It's a reminder that the path to wealth isn't a straight line, but a journey of learning, growth, and self-discovery. Keep up the great work, Mark. Your insights are invaluable to those of us on the same journey. Looking forward to your next video!
One odd "skill" that has become invaluable to me is watching/listening to content on 2x speed. Whether in school or trying to listen to an audiobook or podcast it just helps get through a lot of material. Listening to these books on a service like Audible while working out or doing chores you'll be surprised how many books you can get through in a month.
This video flowed as if by magic from one book to another, it's incredible. I can't imagine the amount of work that went into it (besides reading all those books, of course). Thank you for sharing this work with us.

Interesting video you produced here. I wondered how many books I have that you suggested and I must say 6-10! The one book "Rich Dad , Poor Dad" I read years ago. My thought was, "I wish this book was produced when I was in high school" . It would have saved my a lot of hard ship.
I still believe it's important to fully read the books as the takeaways or things relevant to you will only be picked up by you, not a summary by someone else. Additionally, fully reading really gets the lessons and ideas engrained and really explored intellectually.
I just would like to take the time to thank you for all that you’ve done. Truly helping others. It’s true, reared are leaders and I’ve read about 90% of the books recommended and implemented them into my life. I’ve been reading for about 15 years now. All self improvement and I’m about 12 months away from being a millionaire. I’m 40 yrs young and have been investing for quite some time and run my own business teaching martial arts privately in affluent neighborhoods. I only had 2 years high school education, dropped out early and went the party and drug route. In a way, I’m glad I got that out of the way early and now I’m sober and have been training and teaching martial arts for 24 years. My days are incredibly relaxed, I surf, read watch 3 movies a week I’m the theaters, day trade a few days a week and get spend time more time with my fiancée , my brother and my parents. I DECIDED that I could have it all without having to “grind”. I decided to leverage my time and learn new skills and above all, find peace within myself. When it was first published, Tom Hill helped launch the Good to Great book, I believe by ordering a crap load of them to help boost sales for his friend (my own guess, no actual evidence). He did a desk drop inside Blackstone and everyone got a copy. That book is TRULY amazing, and has become a cornerstone of my own coaching and teaching. Love seeing it up at the top of your list. 👍

Acquiring stocks could appear simple, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan can be very difficult. My main barrier to growing my $210K portfolio, which I've been working on for a while, is the absence of well-defined entry and exit plans. Any guidance on this would be highly valued.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
I searched for her complete name on the internet and located her page. I then sent an email and scheduled a meeting to converse with her; now, I'm awaiting her response.

Key takeaways:-
1) put yourself in scenarios where you'll just have to do the task
2) do not focus on the end goal, but on the next step of achieving it( the end goal seems far and impossible, so it discourages us, make a plan on how to achieve it and divide it into steps, then focus on only the very next step, which is more simple and achievable)

Please what kind of investment can I go into that will help me grow my financial portfolio? It’s not easy making money this days from manual jobs

There are so many books out there and they all come from different perspectives. I believe to get rich you need these - having the knowledge and foresight, taking action and using leverage wherever you can.

Anyone out there looking for a way, read the books this man suggests. Truly life changing 🙏🏽🙌🏽
wow great story 😮 does reading more helps ?🤔
Hi Ray, great to hear your success my friend, it’s in reach for those that want it and follow the patient path to financial freedom. MT 😎
You're the financial mentor I never had.
I found this video to be simply wonderful and very complete! It is essential for anyone who really wants to grow. A thousand points! I loved the fact that it is dubbed, it is a great option for those who do not speak English.
0:05 If someone says they don't have the time to read books that will help them become rich, I'm definitely thinking this is the kind of person who will turn to crime in a few years
When it was first published, Tom Hill helped launch the Good to Great book, I believe by ordering a crap load of them to help boost sales for his friend (my own guess, no actual evidence). He did a desk drop inside Blackstone and everyone got a copy. That book is TRULY amazing, and has become a cornerstone of my own coaching and teaching. Love seeing it up at the top of your list. 👍
Mark, I just found your channel and I’m reading “Think and grow rich” by Napoleon Hill. I would like to see a list of the most influential books you’ve read in different categories, ie; building a business, leadership, strategies, ethics, biographies, avoiding pitfalls, etc.
Many thanks for sharing your experience!
Hey Mark, I really appreciate, admire and respect your message.
Thank you for the honest and practical advice. 🍀
Is this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all, but just how long will It take for us to recover, obviously there are strategies to maneuver in this present market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, or am I better off putting my money elsewhere?
I see no other way to maneuver, profit and steer off losses in this present market except with the aid of a coach.
Always a good time to buy into stocks. Buy a mixed portfolio in vanguard and do dollar cost averaging.
Long term, slow growth . Winner
Who started to read these books?
I watched this video 3 month ago and started to read. I read 6 of them and now I go to gym, my mentality is changing everyday, I've learnt a lot about business and I'm just keep going ❤
Go and create a list of these books and start to read them 👊
Acquiring stocks could appear simple, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan can be very difficult.
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a ‘Kenna Muriel Hesseling '. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
I searched for her complete name on the internet and located her page. I then sent an email and scheduled a meeting to converse with her; now, I'm awaiting her response.
Bots😂
I dont want to be a millionaire, I just want to live a purposeful life...
Actually Purpose is the direction ❤❤❤
How can people find and go for their purpose when they are spending their time looking for money to pay the rent? Money gives people freedom, and that freedom allows people to be creative, explore things, find their purpose
reading books is the most cost-efficient but valuable way to get knowledge and wealthy.
If your a teen what’s the best way to start investing?
Hi, leaning about the subject is by far your best bet , when you’re ready you can talk to your parents to open up a custodial account. Good luck . MT 😎
This was a GREAT video. I just finished my first bussiness book “the Business in the 21st Century” it taught me so much
First video and became your fan, subscribed thanks!
Great book list. I've read about half of these but for me understanding what money really is, it's history and macroeconomics made the biggest difference.
For that reason I recommend reading the last book sooner rather than later. Ray Dalio also has a great summary video on RUclips of the same name if you want the TLDR version.
hello Mark, great video as always, good books, but I think this Astro Money Alchemy is lacking, the book really dives deeper into the mysterious secrets of attracting and making money, so all the recommendations, and once again to praise you for an excellent video!
hello, thank you for sharing this book with us, I've been looking for it for a long time and I found it on Borlest, I can say it's genius
greetings, thank you for this, I don't know how to thank you
Scam
