Andrew I appreciate your channel. I just discovered it today. I am a Hong Kong native (born and raised until I moved to the US in middle school). I just graduated form USC in California and now work as a programmer at Microsoft. I bought my first rental property in Tacoma, WA about a month ago after my first year at Microsoft. My next goal is to purchase a multifamily (4 unit) and increase my cash flow every month. On top of this I am trying to build some business on the side that will generate monthly income for me. Ultimately I want to build up enough monthly income to work for myself within the next 2 years and move overseas to continue investing (likely in real estate while maintaining my business). I must say, the hardest thing for me to do right now is determine what my side business should be in order to generate that monthly cash I will need to move overseas. I can't get myself to jump on board to any one idea. IT IS HARD.
Thank you, Rob, I really appreciate it. 😊 You seem like you have a well thought out plan but if you need any help in the future feel free to contact me at nomadcapitalist.com/apply
I have worked with a lot of people who lived in Mexico (us citizens) and come back to the states to work maintenance outages for: power plants, power transmission upgrades, processingplants, etc. Any job that requires a lower grade of technical skill (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, radiation, etc). In-between jobs, they live like a king in (usually) Mexico. The jobs are fun (if you came up through the ranks doing that) but before you burn out or get bored, you are back in Mexico. Companies need these people and plan on using them on their projects. There are "head" companies that act as middlemen that connect and coordinate between the temporary workers and companies.

But learn high income skills. It takes time but it’s totally worth it in the end. When you get that first client you’ll say...it was worth all the hard work.
That's the problem with college education today. People pay such a high price for book knowledge, but the real world demands skills. Computers are a lucrative field, and everything from the hardware to programming can be self taught. The problem is being self disciplined enough to take the time to do it instead of playing videogames and partying at the local bar every night. I think the problem in the world today is people lack motivation, self discipline, and passion to learn new things.
Great list! I would add one thing: newsletters/articles. Lot of people making significant incomes publishing either on their own sites or with third parties such as Substack. @@VeganFootsoldier Hey there! When it comes to trading, what most people who first get into it fail to realize is, trading requires proper management. Not just MONEY management, though! Also proper EMOTION management! In other words, management of SELF. I had found a successful trade a long time ago that worked once a year and I didn't know why. But each year I got better at timing it, until one year I doubled my money overnight. But the thing was, I only knew that it WORKED, not the reason WHY it worked. I avoided daytrading and stuck to short to medium term swing trading market reversals. But you know what the hardest part of doubling my money overnight was? Managing my emotions so that I would NOT pull the trigger too EARLY! So basically the hardest part was sitting on my hands and doing NOTHING until the right moment came along!
Trading may not be a good idea if you don't have the IQ, education or talent but the same can be said for everything eg, coding, app development, writing, marketing, business ect. Trading is brilliant for those who can do it. If you can't, don't be bitter.

Love your videos, great content. I have a couple of restaurants in France and was actually looking to relocate to the US not just for all the taxes that business owners pay in France but some other personal reasons. Now you are making me rethink my strategy, but I still think the US is overall better for entrepreneurs than France.
Great ideas and insightful commentary based upon amazing experience. We do one of those..kind of...we write children stories and pay 6 cents usd a word ( any writers may apply). But I never thought of the romance novel for a cheaper price with less stringent criteria. Amazing idea!
Owning a Business/Company Versus Having a Source of income. Why pay Company Tax and Personal Income tax.. All online "businesses" can be Personal Income , and all earnings filed under Personal Income Tax.. If u register ur online earnings as a Business, u are liable to pay 30% Company tax, and still pay Personal Income Tax.. It is no longer encouraging to set up a Company/business, with internet, u are ur own Business
The vending industry is an old line established industry. It is rapidly evolving. I worked for a non food vending machine - a massage chair. So far my profits are increasing monthly. I’m glad I decided to start this kind of business. If you want to earn fast and easy, try a vending machine business. It works for me. No need for other additional cost.
Real estate in emerging markets is a great way to make money in another country. Yeah it doesn't necessarily mean you can be super mobile but it gets you out of your home country and for $1100 per sq meter in some places it's not the worst idea.
Great videos, been watching for a while. Question: Can you do a video about other countries (non US) that will take Americans in their military, then give them free education and/or lead to residency or citizenship in that country? Lot of conservative kids normally joint the military to take a break/see the world, before continuing their education or to get training for their future.....

What about being a nomad capitalist, but just in the USA for now. Lets say, for example that I live in Vegas for 6 months and 1 day, and the rest of the time I spend at my condo in San Diego, and my ranch in Southern Oregon. I would owe some state taxes that are unfavorable, but I think the income would be taxed at the NV rates, which is zero. Seems like a way to make your income tax zero, live in the US, and also live in high tax states like california. Also you could do all your shopping in Oregon and save on sales taxes which do not exist there.
You forgot product development... I got them a product I got designed in an industrial design firm called Manta to a manufacturing company called Panoplo... Panoplo produced it for me in Canada and drop shipped it to Amazon... They even hired and manage a small team for my brand on my behalf for a cut of the sales. If you can do this with as little as $30k to $300k depending on the product you want to create and how well it is received..
Muneeb Peeran if you are a talented musician that is a great route to take. I have met some musicians who publish music through the various platforms like iTunes. I think stock music would also be another route for a musician type. I think one could also go the coaching and consulting route and teach music online. Music and audio is a pure and perfect digital product.
Zooming through for female names, most are probably male, as independent nomadic entrepreneurs; non issue. But, don’t forget there are a few females, independent business ladies out there also. Like your channel, this video was v enlightening, thanks Andrew.
Would love to see an update, given the current world situation. I am certainly into being Freelance. I have been freelance in the physical world. So now my goal is to be freelance in the digital world, so I can be location independent.
Been working through your videos -- this one in particular is magnificent content. Is it a surprise that I am doing or will be doing many of your suggestions? It's nice to find something that is so spot-on with good business ideas.
Great question. I think the answer he'd probably give is it's not a direct online business which is the title of the video. I once thought of going into real estate, and, yes, there are ways you could be a nomad while running a real estate or Air BnB business "back home" wherever home is, but at some point someone needs to hand the keys over to the client.
Hi - would you do a vid on living in Australia please? I've always dreamed of living in that country. Thank you. If you've already made a vid on this topic, please direct me. Again, thank you!
Another good, info-packed video, and a solid list; thank you. Could you elaborate a bit further as to why it can be better to be a business owner with employees, rather than a freelancer or independent contractor? What are some of the benefits, tax advantages,....?
What are your thoughts on Russia? I notice they only have a 6% tax rate for a business without employees. cost of living/commodities/utilities are exceptionally cheap there.

What you really need is an income stream!!!! Exactly. Another very excellent video.
Thank you Eric for the comment.
Andy I really love your content. So professional yet light and non condescending. I have lots of ideas. Especially writing. In fact you've illustrated this can be the way to facilitate getting on the road if you start off humble and work your way so as to not go bust living to large. Thank you for all your time and energy.
You're welcome.
Thank you for this and all that you do Andrew! Investing in Nomad Capitalist should be added #12
Awesome, awesome video!
very good info thanks Andrew! Me and my daughter have a really great idea and there is a need
E-commerce, because you can literally start with extreme low budget and in some cases even without budget at all! 👍🙂
I think as part of affiliate program, network marketing is another business you can have, it is something that can be done online the upside potential is enormous.
@Nomad Capîtalîst I agree, thank you,I am starting to do that, Bitcoin Cash is probably the best investment now.I also Have BC, ET and LiteCoin. Where do I find your number to text? You posted the number below, where?
Your channel has continued to give me invaluable information and I'm truly grateful for your insight and expertise. Thank you and please keep up the great content. You are providing as service that is definitely appreciated to many who follow your work.
thanks Nomad. This video confirms im on the right track . I'm an Ivy league trained dentist and specialist btw, since I left the US for my home country ( Africa) took a big hit and I needed to get out. I'm working my ass off on some of your suggestions 2 years now and yeah I need to get out of here ( dentistry and Africa)
Andrew is cracking it. Thanks bro. 💕 From India.
Hi Andrew , great channel ! Haven’t heard you speak about professionals . Any experience working with physicians who want to leave the USA. I’m personally considering Malaysia. What options are out there?
Love your videos, great content. I have a couple of restaurants in France and was actually looking to relocate to the US not just for all the taxes that business owners pay in France but some other personal reasons. Now you are making me rethink my strategy, but I still think the US is overall better for entrepreneurs than France.
USA is better than most countries for entrepreneurs.
Being a US venture capital / corporate attorney.
Great ideas and insightful commentary based upon amazing experience. We do one of those..kind of...we write children stories and pay 6 cents usd a word ( any writers may apply). But I never thought of the romance novel for a cheaper price with less stringent criteria. Amazing idea!
Thanks, Andrew, this video definitely inspired me to start something!
Glad to hear it Larry!😊
Owning a Business/Company Versus Having a Source of income. Why pay Company Tax and Personal Income tax.. All online "businesses" can be Personal Income , and all earnings filed under Personal Income Tax.. If u register ur online earnings as a Business, u are liable to pay 30% Company tax, and still pay Personal Income Tax..
It is no longer encouraging to set up a Company/business, with internet, u are ur own Business
S-Corps solve this issue and allow you to take advantage of many other benefits including more tax exemptions.
Did you buy an existing route?
during covid? lol
You listen your learn!
Great content, would love to see more of this stuff for digital nomads: where can I work remotely and pay least amount of taxes ?
We have covered it in this video: ruclips.net/video/V9IyOfmnSfw/видео.html
Hi, please i am from Nigeria, were can i relocate and start a business with a small amount of money
thanks Andrew..that was a great video. I would add real estate business that generates cash flow with outsourcing management.
(Not just guys, many lady entrepreneurs, several, 7 figures) (fyi). Good vid. ✅
Real estate in emerging markets is a great way to make money in another country. Yeah it doesn't necessarily mean you can be super mobile but it gets you out of your home country and for $1100 per sq meter in some places it's not the worst idea.
Very inspirational! Thank you! May have given me an idea.
Hi Andrew excellent Coaching here. Please do inform me about small Manufacturing ideas, Technology based if you may please.
Really liked this thanks. The best tip right at the end I think.
Wholesaling houses virtually. The $250.000 a year is very doable, that’s just 20 houses a year!
What do you know about it? Did you try it yourself? I tried doing it last year with no success, although I have decent experience in affiliate marketing.
Joel Yes I do 20-30 deals a year out of Europe

good video informative
Glad you liked it
What about being a nomad capitalist, but just in the USA for now.
Lots of value presented in this video!
Would you consider writing and publishing music to streaming platforms as digital products?
Muneeb Peeran if you are a talented musician that is a great route to take. I have met some musicians who publish music through the various platforms like iTunes. I think stock music would also be another route for a musician type. I think one could also go the coaching and consulting route and teach music online. Music and audio is a pure and perfect digital product.
@@dougscott188 thanks for mentioning stockmusic. just wrote to them with an inquiry. :)

Zooming through for female names, most are probably male, as independent nomadic entrepreneurs; non issue. But, don’t forget there are a few females, independent business ladies out there also.
Like your channel, this video was v enlightening, thanks Andrew.
What does this have to do with sex or gender? Omg

Would love to see an update, given the current world situation. I am certainly into being Freelance. I have been freelance in the physical world. So now my goal is to be freelance in the digital world, so I can be location independent.
I have done every one of those business ideas except trading. Good video
great channel .... I like the forex on line trading business idea most..at moment..
Glad you enjoy it!
Been working through your videos -- this one in particular is magnificent content. Is it a surprise that I am doing or will be doing many of your suggestions? It's nice to find something that is so spot-on with good business ideas.
Good stuff! It’s Jeffrey, I’ve got a real good one to add to your list! We do all the heavy lifting, you just need to have a few business contacts!
Glad I discovered your channel. I'm learning a lot and looking forward to working with you.
where does real estate business or running resort or Air BnB fit in your 11 categories?
Great question. I think the answer he'd probably give is it's not a direct online business which is the title of the video. I once thought of going into real estate, and, yes, there are ways you could be a nomad while running a real estate or Air BnB business "back home" wherever home is, but at some point someone needs to hand the keys over to the client.
@@MegaMerlin2011 and most importantly to clean out the client. Tried to hire someone to do those hosting activities. Was a disaster.
Start a business SELLING 'something.' Other than selling (and marketing), everything else is a conversation.
If I may: as long as you are the business system you have a job. When the business system can operate mainly on its own you have a business.
Thank you Brigita for the suggestion.
Wow you read my mind
Awesome video..
Do a update for 2021.
Thank you so much for your amazing videos
Sensible and knowledgeable like always ..
Maybe I need to apply for work with them ) I have 20 years banking experience and spoke English, Russian, Azeri / Turkish.
Truly a great video. Well done
Thank you Juliet.
What are your thoughts on Russia? I notice they only have a 6% tax rate for a business without employees. cost of living/commodities/utilities are exceptionally cheap there.
You forgot to mention life itself as cheap there. Perhaps you should read: Red Notice by Bill Browder
Another great video!
Excellent ideas !

Can you work as a bookkeeper/tax preparer as an expat in another country?
Why not?
Great video
Thanks for the great content, Andrew; truly appreciate it! Any advice for experienced U.S. English teachers who are aspiring “nomad capiltalists” (wanting to live and work abroad)?
Teaching English won't make u a capitalist by any stretch of imagination. And if thats the only source of income, and retirement plan, then it is not only an unsustainable gig but ends up being a full-time grind . Been there. Done that. Not worth it
I currently work in short term real estate sales - any way to make this remote?
Hi Andrew! What would be a good place to live part-time where one could connect with and have a sense of community with other active traders?
Nice content.
Im new to your channel and find your videos very helpful. I have owned and sold a few business in the last few years.
