This is amazing. Exactly how I was taught 50 years ago by the lady who had been Dinh Ghilly’s assistant in his London studio for many years. She had sung at Covent Garden with Caruso and Destinn and taught me EXACTLY this posture. The term she used was “be able to take a lazy step with a lazy leg”. I’ve given classes and attended them with many teachers and singers in both hemispheres and NO ONE ELSE has EVER taught this. I thought for years I was a lone voice but hallelujah, I find your video. Young singers watching this believe me, take it on board and practice this. IT’S THE CORRECT WAY TO SING!!!
This gives absolute freedom, power and colour to the voice and brings a feeling of immense joy. Well done Mr. Trimble.

This I will try! Every teacher I have had always say you must stand on both feet, but it has always felt tense and unnatural.

Wanted to thank you for this very simple solution to my problem. I'm generally really tense and never understood why. I started going over all the possible reasons, from the top of my head, all the way down to my pelvis, but I never thought about the possibility of the effect of my lower body on my torso. This helped tremendously.

Dear sir, first of all let me say that you’ve made me believe again that I can heal my voice after 4 profs!
I’ve watched the video about low larynx and I do understand that it should be invisible, but I cannot find that position when it doesn’t move. It does move and produces the vibrato, my prof says it’s because of that I do not use my lips (she’s hooked on lips!!!!!!!). And I believe that’s because of the larynx that moves too much.
Maybe you can advise me how to make this larynx stop moving and let me open my throat!?))))
Thanks a lot! You’re a magician! I want to show all your videos to my prof (she’s 80!!)
Wish you health from the snowy Russia!

Thank you so much! These videos about posture were very helpful! Forgive me if I wasn't attentive, but did you say anything about the rotation of the pelvis?
