Of all the tasks in restoration, I think that paint stripping is the one I dislike most, whether using wire wheels and sanders or, especially, when using chemical stripper. Great editing.
Thank you...Appreciated.
Wow, amazing, doing so well 👍👍👍 You probably never will, but never drive a GT at night in snowfall. After a few meters darkness will come. 😅😅
Never in a snow, this is ride for long summer nights !
That little structural swoop up front is pretty funny, I didn’t notice that until now.
Hello there. Sorry, didnt quite follow..what swoop you mean?
@@GT1900garage The zig-zag strengthening dimples or beads in the bottom of the front wheel bays, I had not noticed them until now and I think they’re cute.
Aa, ok. Not sure how much stronger it gets with those, but surely they add some personality.
wieder tolle arbeit.....diese geschicklich keit für blech ist toll.....rust and diamands .....
Vielen Dank, innem jedem Steinblock befindet sich eine tolle Skulptur. Man muss es nur ausgraben
Another interesting episode. The machine to produce the grooves is interesting. I will try to build one es well! By the way, yesterday I have taken out the engine/gearbox of my MG TF to start the bodywork. There will be quite some work. However, to date I have not found a corner that looks like your car - yet. Maybe the day will come! All the best for your future work!
Hello there! I hope that day will never come 😄
The groove machine was a successful prototype, I think I need to develop it a bit more to be good. Lets see if I need it again, you will see the improved version.
I am eagerly waiting the time when I can concentrate to the engine and gearbox, and even put them on..That will be a big day...
Amazing, incrível, splendid 🎉
Thank You, appreciated.
Big-big-fat thumbs up as ever.
Much much appreciated !!
I think you're really great because you're a creative man. Although you don't have a special tool for the sheet metal.
Thank you very much! Yes, there are tool available for all the tasks, but when I mostly need them only once...I tend to invent something on my own instead..
Nice work
Thank You for your views and comment !
Very, very nice! Nothing more to say.
Thanks, your support appreciated..
Next level metal works in 3d dimension
Thank you, appreciated !
You have a great ability to decode 3D form into seperate pieces then build them back up.
With trial and error my friend, trial and error..
Fantastic!
Glad you like it! Stay tuned, there will be more...
Impressive 30th episode, as are the previous 29... Kippis!
Thank you ! Stay tuned (for next 30 or so episodes) 🤘😎🤘
@@GT1900garage I most certainly will !
É muito bom ver uma pessoa se realizando e sendo feliz 👏👏👏👍🤝🙏
Muito obrigado, na verdade. Você resumiu perfeitamente o sentimento
It's always great to see a video of the Opel GT being finessed back to life 😊
Couldn't agree more! visible progress is best progress....
good job je suis tres imprésionner bravo
Merci beaucoup. J'apprécie votre commentaire.
Another example of a very dedicated, very skilled metal worker which is using his time correcting the many design flaws from the Opel design bureau.
The Opel design bureau would better design small swimming pools or puddels for frogs.
Besides: remind it is based on a Kadett B chassis derivate and has the same dangerous road behavior.
Thanks for the comments. Yep, these 60´s mini sports were not the most comfortable or safest cars on the road. Need to do some tweaks to the suspension to make it more roadworthy.
Never surrender!
Never, even when you are winning...
Back in the days I made simple tools for the headlamp housing (Box) stuff.
The tool was good for 20 more sets.
Btw, mount the headlamp mechnism and headlamp buckets before the final fitting job.,
Thanks for the comment, what kind of tool you had, and what was the purpose? Interested....
That's the plan, I will restore and install the headlights before final welds...the position is very critical..and precise .
Good job
Thank you ! Appreciate your visit on the channel...
bonsoir je suis ébloui par votre mairtise incroyable bravo extraordinaire
Merci pour les superlatifs. Mais je les accepte humblement 😂
