Proud LLW shirt customer... my cars practically finish themselves since I got one! I have seen waaay worse colour matches than that... It's like tremclad knew what those cans would be used for... hmmm... Seriously, most "restored" cars for sale are not done any better than this, and for "just goofing off" it is above and beyond! Cheers buddy; can't wait to see it... Full GCFCE approval of course!
Dear CWM Scott N. 👍👌👏 Always nice meeting you here. Miss seeing you at Jonathan's channel. Best regards, luck and especially health to you, Hunny Bunny, the agents and, last but definitely not least, cute Francine.
That is some incredible metal fabrication work Dude you are second to none. I e done autobody for years and your work is absolutely in reliable great work my friend
I absolutely love your channel and all of your projects, but this was my favorite so far. You are incredibly talented and very entertaining. 100% improvement on the car.
I just finished my shower after Fluid Film application to 3 of my cars. It's my autumn ritual. One of my cars I did almost exactly the same restoration on 2 years ago. It took me a lot, lot, longer than you. I've done more on the frame since as well. I've driven it about 35K miles, since. Tonight I saw some more bubbles in the paint and we know what that means. Your videos inspired me to tackle the job and my car is running like a champ.
Nicest looking x service car. Hope your customer is happy, your methods we're proper. A great demonstration on a suitable method of repair and skill development. ! ! !
Kyle, That was one of the most professional examples of turd polishing on the planet! Curious though, all those sparks, no fire? I miss the Saskatchewan Bar-B-Que? Anyway your Louisiana Lap Welding and metal skills are top notch. 👍 That was a awesome display of rattle can skills, the car looks great, but what do I know, I'm only here for the cats, dry humor and music selection anyway..
I know this won't be what you want to hear.. But, this is probably one my favorite videos you have done. I have shared to several friends and I appreciate it. Between this and the C 10 episode from last year I think building a "beater with a heater" is getting to be a lost art. Great work and if someone was really up against it they could have done this with pop rivets and a grinder. I know you areused to doing a lot higher end work, but this gets someone with just a little cash through for now. Thank you for this, I really appreciate what it takes to make this look as easy as you do. Great job sir!
I'll post my own thoughts in another comment but I wanted to concur. Like the fixing major rust play list, this was a great vid. I love the other stuff too so I won't say its a new favorite but this is the kind of rough and tumble fix the rust and get it back on the road stuff that I do. I could never hope to do the kind of metal finishing and dent repair of old stuff you do but will always be watching to learn more.
Thanks Kyle for another very entertaining video. You should stay away from the GTA crowd... next thing you know, they'll have you delivering small packages for them. Keep up the awesome work.
I think this was an absolutely amazing job done in a garage with spray bombs better than most professionals can do you got incredible talent my friend GREAT JOB !!!!!!
While you did it again, took a rusty piece.of crap and made a great looking daily driver with a little touch of Barris thrown in. You do incredible work. Thanks for sharing this video.
Holy crap ! im glad i live in Southern Nevada, i own a 1999 crown Victoria. The car is 25 years old, and the undercarriage still looks like it JUST rolled off the assembly line.
I had a P71 with chipping white paint. I sprayed it with a Harbor Freight purple gun with gloss black Rust-Oleum, acetone, and wet look hardener. I did the jams with rattle cans. It looked pretty good. Now i am looking at a whit Police Malibu with the same issue on the roof and hood. The rest looks pretty good. If I get it, i will just do those parts with rattle cans.
I can't get over the work you can do! In my book your a Great Body Man! My favorite on the You tube by far. Most guys would have run from fixing that car not a problem for Carter Thanks!
I don't know what you owed the owner of that car, but he got way more than his monies worth. I know we didn't see all the time that you spent on that but you sure did some very acceptable body work in a short time. Thanks for doing a video for us that are freeloading. I appreciate it.
The old girl looks great! Crown Vic's are one of my favorite all time cars. The Timex watch of cars, they can take a licking and keep on ticking. I am going to go outside now and hug my rust free 2004 Crown Victoria. Thanks for the video!
From a customers eye view/close-up nobody's gonna look at an old crown vic for how it's paint job looks, Just as long as all the rust is gone the customer will be pretty happy 👍 Good Job.
I just came across this video randomly but bro you had me in stitches the entire video! 😂 I have an older 2013 Ford Interceptor I painted with rattle cans. Nothing wrong with it. I wish I could weld and use and do the bodywork on your level. Great video my friend.
@ 15:14 “praying mantis technique” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 sofa king funny You have a very unique SOH - love it! Even when clowning around your exceptional talent is still evident. Excellent video 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This was awesome even if its not the way you are supposed to do it. This is the kind of work us more normal driveway mechanics fix stuff but in way shorter time. Cut some rust, try to make a part that fits, weld it, hide it with filler and paint with a rattle can. While I love the classic car stuff, amazing artistry with the cut and chops, the miraculous dent and crack disappearing videos, this was a nice long video to procrastinate with while thinking I should be in the driveway right now doing the same thing to my rocker panels.
Excellent job, Kyle for a quick splash and dash. Impressed by the wheelarches and doglegs. Rockers came out well, too. I've been summoning as much inner Kyle as I can muster lately having launched into body repair on my 32 sedan. I have even revisited gas welding and hammering and dollying plus using a shrinking wheel. Hopefully it ought to make it into a video series sometime. Ok, all the best, keep on doing what you do. Mart.
It's a 2 week wait, and it's over. You have never disappointed me, I could watch one of your demonstrations every day. How long until our next instalment.
I love Rustoleum rattle cans :) You've got your very own "Bluesmobile" right there. I second what someone else wrote, that your quick fix-ups are superior in every way to many pro panel shop work. In fact it was great to see you splash out this time and invest in some bondo instead of those usual poverty-level metal=only jobs ;)
I think this was taking pity on this old police cruiser, i think the rust deleting, and rustoleum rattle can fix will get this rig down the road awhile longer, and it looks 100% better. You didn't buy replacement rocker panel's, or any other pre fabricated metal to do this, and i have no doubt this budget fix will last much longer. You have some skills, and use what you've got, always makes for a great video, along with sarcasm and humor. G-d bless.
Oh the good old days...when we did everything on the cheap and it came out better then spending money.lol you remind me of a younger me.i applaud you for the memories.peace
"Filthy garbage dungeon" was definitely my favorite quote of the episode. And one of the better winter beater makeovers I've seen. I'd watch more of this, especially with the "praying mantis" technique, that's gold.
The perfect Saskatchewan winter beater! Certainly more appropriate than some old Volvo with a fresh pinstripe, lol. Love the custom trim delete. Also, those cats should have been conscripted to help keep the rattle cans shaken prior to use!
Bobby Fuller had the hit, but it was written and originally recorded by Sonny Curtis and the Crickets. Sonny joined the Crickets after Buddy's death. Curtis was an early collaborator with Buddy, prior to forming the Crickets, and co-wrote Buddy's early tracks "Blue Days Black Nights" and "Rock Around With Ollie Vee"... but he's probably best known for writing and singing "Love Is All Around", the theme song to "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."
I liked this and thought you did a great job that was appropriate for the car. I hope your self deprecation is sarcasm because you’re really skilled! Thanks!
Praying mantis technique 😂😂😂. It’s been many years since I awarded it, but you sir have won the internet. Stunning result. I would proudly buy this and drive it the remaining 50 miles before the engine dies. Jokes. Your contribution is we are all thoroughly entertained.

@@coldwarmotors hahahahaha!!!
His quickie rust repair is better than most "pro's"
Totally agree !!!!!
Way better than the newspaper and Bondo or aluminum tape and Bondo rocker panel repairs I uncovered.
Most definitely....
It seems easy but you need to be quite good to pull this off at a reasonable pace.
Wow, it went from junk to "will be junk in four winters" !
Fantastic job. The RCMP are going to want this one back in their fleet.
My wife wants me to do some chores around the house today. I told she has to wait until after Kyle is done with this car. Thanks for the video!
@@willydavidnever seen that spelling. Is that Canadian?

A lot of good technique was displayed in this project. Good job. Thanks
I love Cold war motors! I seriously CAN'T BELIEVE! they don't have MORE SUBSCRIBERS!😳🤷
Looks great from the camera distance. That’s as close as most people will ever get to it. You made those body repairs look easy!
Hey man those turbo cans came out pretty good. Car looks good, and didn’t have go broke payin a body shop that takes forever.
I absolutely love your channel and all of your projects, but this was my favorite so far. You are incredibly talented and very entertaining. 100% improvement on the car.

When a guy can't afford a $5000 paint job, it doesn't mean you have to drive around a rusty turd... 💪💪💪
The car came out great 👍 I have painted my steel wheels the same way. I see no problem with it

Over an hour of Kyle's video....I will need more beer.....that is a good thing.

Canadian YTube gold for the masses. Thanks, Kyle.
Now you’ve gone off and become some sort of fancy coach builder!
Holy crap ! im glad i live in Southern Nevada, i own a 1999 crown Victoria. The car is 25 years old, and the undercarriage still looks like it JUST rolled off the assembly line.
Lucky you! Haha
Came out looking 👌 great for a beater Vic
Like a ninja with the mig gun. 😁 Thank you for posting 👍
Thanks for watching!

The paint job looks pretty great from a distance (Illinois). Good work, saved another one!
Amazing.. just amazing work.
Considering what it started as it looks great.
In the next video Kyle will be removing the 5.0 Ford and installing a 235 Chevy six.
4.6 SOHC
I was thinking about installing the Crown Vic body on a 1960's Ford truck chassis haha
Looks great!
Looks like "Product Time" is your favorite!
Yup
He mentioning GTA and then the licence plate reading 'NPC' at the end it's fitting!😂
Among your many skills, editing is one of your best. Definitely keeps the channel fun to watch.😊

Kyle, some trade secrets shouldn’t be shared. I can’t wait to get in the garage and mix up some filler so I can try the “praying mantis!”

There was a fair amount of procrastination on my end too before I finally cut into the rocker panels haha. Not a fun job!
You got rid of the rust and made it presentable In my book it’s a win 👍🏻
CWM is how I found your channel. Been here ever since that fender repair job that you did for Scott. 🤣👍

Cleaner than every single one I’ve seen this week here in NYC, satisfying at the very least if not up to the normal standard
Constable Carter breaking auto body laws...

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of work to put this video together
A group of guys. Some beer. Somebody’s winter beater. We would just all hit it at the same time. We called it the blitz. Good times!
Sounds like fun!

Another great episode. Thanks Kyle!!
nice job for what you had to work with
nice job Kyle....as allways. Take care!!
