- Welcome back to Never Never Growing Up!
This latest series covers our most recent trip to Walt Disney World where we spent a whirlwind 4 day trip wedding planning, hanging out with friends at the Walt Disney World parks and Disney Springs, and staying off-site this time at the Maingate Lakeside Resort!
In this video, wedding planning kicks in to full gear as we head down first from our resort to Haines City, FL where we sample the most delicious cakes from Cut the Cake. SUCH a fun part of the planning process!
With some time to spare between appointments, we decide to head in to Disney Springs for some shopping and chill time. We see what's new in World of Disney, the Co-op and Uniqlo, then take a load off at Dockside Margaritas! Then it's off to Winter Park for a flower and decor consultation.

That cake tasting looked really fun! Trying all the different combos of fillings and sponge! It would be cool if they offered that just as an experience, even if you weren’t buying a wedding cake at the end of it! Looking forward to today’s vlog when it comes out! 💚🤗

If watching a video of you guys planning for your wedding can be this much fun I don't think I'll be able to handle the actual video of the wedding itself... Haha that cake sounded so good. (Also loved the moment when you put Minnie back and the "when somebody loved me" music came on bahahaha.) As always very fun. I get more excited for you both each week!

That Mickey ears bag, that Grape bag....I would've been is SO much trouble. The cake looked very tasty. Random thoughts - Will ya'll have a Groom's cake? My husband didn't have one, for he wanted pecan pie. Let me tell ya, pie was a great choice! Also, depending on where your guests sit in regards to the gazebo, you may want/need a standing mic. That way they can hear the officiant and your "I do's".
Isn't it all so cute?! Kind of a good thing there was so many goodies, meant I wasn't able to choose what I reeeeally wanted haha.
We're not planning to have a groom's cake, no. A pie sounds like a great idea though!
And yes, our DJ will mic up our officiant so everything can be heard :)
@@KelsandJohn We had them make up a "togo" box for us, so that we could have cake and pie again during the Honeymoon. Wedding leftovers for the win!

don't ever go to haines city unless you have family or close friends out there. the entire place is 3/4 retirees or old people. instead try winter park village or orlando proper both have great bakeries and are perfect for where you can put your venue. or you could do the other thing and call carlos' bakery in hoboken in Jersey owned by the cake boss. They can make a wedding cake for you and have it shipped down to florida.
Haha we only went down as our planner recommended the bakery. We had no regrets - LOVED all the cakes we tried!
That said, Carlo's is excellent - I've been to the one in Hoboken a couple times!!!
