Still has that confident walk, even at the age of 97. He is a legend.

I don't care how old he is - he walks like a fighter pilot - he has the look, the true look. He has been there! What a great moment!!!!!

When I read of veteran pilots of all nations reunited with their former aircraft, bringing vivid memories, it sends chills up my spine to hear their stories!👍

Thank you for translating this. It's great to hear the stories from ww2 vets on the other side of the war.

He is hero. He fought for his country just as my grandfather did in the Marines in the Battle Of Guam and Iwo Jima. The only thing that counts now is we are ALLIES. We can learn from our mistakes and hope we can as friend's go forward.

He was a young man in 1941 impressive for a fighting adventure...

He was still sound of mind and walking like someone decades younger than him (he did not need support) - was on his 100th year (only a few months away from turning full 100) when he passed away suddenly in 2016 : (

It's good to hear their personal experience coming from the pilots themselves with the Zero and how important peace over war. Banzai!

No one should "hate" the Zero pilots. They were serving their country, just as all the other pilots from every country were doing.
