The problem with the "drag queen agenda" is that they've been open about it at this point. We've already seen the infamous princess dress drag queen and the more recent Maleficent drag queen. At this point it's not a matter of him wanting to put a drag queen in the park but more of he wants to replace as many of the characters as he can with drag queens because they've already inserted them into the park.
Plus, nobody is mentioning the countless sex offenders who participate in these freak shows, despite having restraining orders against them? Then there’s the hidden camera footage of them rubbing up against children’s bodies, while their disgusting parents cheer on.
You have two options:
- You tolerate this in public
- You prevent kids from seeing it
Those are your only two options. If you choose one, you can't choose the other.
Who says it has to be tolerated? Who decided that? And why should it be tolerated? Speaking personally, I don't want to see this crap, and I don't even have kids.

Now, to your second (for lack of a better term) "point": When I say "as long as it's legal," it's a shorthand to avoid having to go through the long, lengthy differentiation between _malum in se_ vs _malum prohibitum._ (Since I'm not your teacher & I'm not getting paid by the hour to explain the more abstruse concepts to backward students.) As for "they're going to try to change the laws," well...hate to break the news to you cupcake, but they (whoever "they" are) have that right. Like it or not, this is America. The People _do_ have the right to change laws. That is the whole point of Representative government. Don't like the law? Change it. You have just as much right to do that as "they" do. (Or do you think it's a right reserved for you alone? If so, then I'm glad you're not dictating the laws.) As for Obergefell, well I hate to break the news to you, but...I had nothing to do with that, one way or another. I mean, I'm flattered that you think I'm a member of the Supreme Court (I can understand how you can make that mistake), thank you for the compliment, but the truth is, I'm really not a Supreme Court Justice. I therefore had nothing to do with that decision, so it serves no purpose to bring that up here, other than to further muddy the waters.

I'm with you regarding your children and trusting Disney content. I too would filter what content was appropriate for my kids as to whether it was violent or sexual but never had any worries about Disney or Pixar. I am so glad they are adults now because I'd be so worried about the current ideological indoctrination of Iger's company.

Unless I am remembering incorrectly, didn't Jon Waters also publicly denounce exposing children to drag queen shows for being "wildly inappropriate" ? I am pretty sure he was asked about it and his response was fairly blunt and point blank that it the very idea of having Drag Queen reading hour in public libraries was absurd... Etc.
I mean it even sounds like a scene that he might include in one of his films as a matter of satire. Like this is how ridiculous things can get.... But I guess that is the (Western ) world today... At least for now.
As a business, catering to your patrons is the key to success. If I open a bar and a bunch of gay women start frequenting it regularly and become the majority crowd... you bet I'm going to start catering to that crowd. My barvis going to be about that demographic. What is Disney's largest, money spending demographic? Cater to THAT demographic and you can live like kings... and we have Disney stock crashing sub $100 a share.

i very much enjoyed seeing the comedy act "Dame Edna" back in the day... s/he was a great entertainer. HOWEVER, i was an adult at the time... i am thankful that my kids are already long out of the sights of these creeps with the agenda of destroying the entirety of FAMILY! The gentleman who played the Dame also didn't buy into this stuff and was accused of being against the LGBTQ agenda.
It's not only Disney, folks. It's all the major media companies. It is the mangement policy of the last two companies I have worked for and every other company where my friends and family work (Canada, USA and Europe). It is also the policy of the federal and regional government offices in these countries. I was required to take courses in DEI policy and include a certain percentage of diversity groups when hiring. Most emails I get get from colleagues, customers, suppliers and government offices now include pronouns at the signoff. Kids will soon be as exposed to drag queens etc. as much as any other binary social expression of sexuality, especially on the web. In some school systems it is even required to include diversity groups in sex education. As Bob Dylan famously sang, "The times they are a changin'".

@@thedarknate08 I guess that's really my point. This woke stuff is so widespread that cancelling Disney plus would be an insignificant drop in the bucket. We would have to cancel our subscriptions to just about everything and protest to our governments and our bosses.
the funny thing about this is that something else at some point will come along and replace this... probably with an even more outrageous outcome.
Star Wars and Marvel were turned into girl brands, is Disney as a whole trying to be a gay brand? Brands pivot all the time, but the alphabet community doesn't have a lot of children, so while slow at first, it is going to be a massive shift (and likely loss) in audience. I don't see this ending well unless they know something I don't.

Because the future they were planning for us, was guaranteeing them control over us. Every institution, every system of our daily life, was rigged for them to take full control of us. We were never meant to all live. The few allowed to live were to be docile slaves under tyranny, willingly sacrificing their children to the rulers.

I had almost forgotten about Hamburger Mary's! I'm from the SF Bay Area and went to the original Hamburger Mary's in San Francisco in the '90s (It closed in 2001). I, too, enjoyed Divine in John Waters' movies. I saw them at art house theater Camera One in San Jose CA. I'm hetero and politically progressive. But forcing LGTBG and DEI ideology on children is wrong. It should be organic. If a child encounters someone different from them and has questions, they should have a conversation with their parent(s).

I don't really care about a kid 'seeing' a drag queen (but not a drag show) or knowing about the concept of gay people, but I would want to choose when I exposed my kids that content. Disney thinking that they can sneak it in is rather disturbing. It does feel like grooming.

Bad parents. A lot of parents enjoy naming their kids weird sh** like it makes them super special. I know a guy who named his kids after Greek mythological warriors. I know someone who named their son after a chiche'd vampire, countries and continents, and a few more weird ones. That's not even counting celebs who name their kids after compass directions. Funny though that none of these parents change their own names to match their kids.

To play devil's advocate, give Pee Wee's Playhouse a watch. A lot of gay/drag elements in it. I loved the show as a kid and none of those elements had any negative influences on me growing up. Also the show was a children's version of a much more adult-oriented show.
For years, Disney held an essentially “gay day” in the parks and, I guess, this is maybe just about tolerable (I’m speaking as a gay guy here) - no doubt full of drag queens and whatever else. It was NOT a child friendly or child inclusive event. Then, in more recent times, I heard reports that families with kids were admitted to the parks when this event was happening. This is wrong on so many levels. And now we have this situation with drag queens and transvestites - the “bippity boppity” moustached guy - being (quietly?) pushed and an overt LGBT+ “activist” mindset infecting literally every part of the Disney organisation. Again, as a card carrying (but sane) gay man, I say this is just wrong. My…er…”community” makes up maybe 3% of the population yet Disney seems hell bent (pun intended) in pushing away the majority - especially families with kids - for a “cause” that nobody, not even the majority of ‘normal’ gays asked for. How the mighty have fallen.
But "drag queen" isn't an orientation, it's a form of entertainment.
