This was so fun! My gardens are suffering this year, my husband just underwent back-to-back knee replacement surgeries and as caregiver I haven't had as much time to tackle weeds and plant things, but this video inspires me to get out there and make things pretty now that he is on the mend! Thanks, Laura, for always giving us a kick in the pants to get out there and make things beautiful in our own gardens!

Oh my goodness, I love that there are roses popping through inside the chicken coop! How beautiful. That entire area around the coop looks AMAZING!!! It has filled out so much. And the... Side garden? Is filling in so much as well. When you were walking by to show the first area you planted I couldn't help but think of how wonderful it must be to be surrounded by all of that each and everyday... Husband, kids, and gardens... Who could ask for more?!

Holy moly that's a LOT of plants!! Can't wait to see these areas in a month or so! Of course most of us couldn't afford to plant this much in even just one area. But A girl can dream, right? 😉 I'd love to see you plant some pots or some landscaping with JUST the 6-8 pack plants only. Just because that's the reality for many of us. Don't get me wrong, it's going to be absolutely stunning! The large flower beds just looked, to me, more like a commercial setting. Sending many blessings to you and your sweet family. I’ve been following for about two years now, and I just have to say, things really seem like they’re all falling into place in your garden and all around the property and this video really showcased how beautifully you and Aaron have landscaped the area. Blown away by how much progress you’ve made, especially in the south garden in just a year. Can’t wait to watch how much more it develops!

Would you consider a rose garden one day? It would be gorgeous! Your roses are doing so well but they are planted here and there among other perennials.
They had considered it one time that’s what Aaron wanted but now they change their mind lol
You should go back and watch all their videos on the garden answer highlights channel they answer a lot of these questions on there if they’ve already talked about it in the past or done it it’s a great channel .
I remember a past video, like a year or so ago, where Aaron wanted a rose garden and Laura wrinkled her nose. I knew right then and there he would not get the big rose garden he was envisioning.
So gratifying to sit back at watch such large planting beds come alive!! I find myself planting less annuals over time, but there’s no denying that’s where the WOW is found. Thanks for another “beauty-full” video!❤️

Is it just me or is this the best season of Garden Answer EVER! Laura I could watch you plant stuff all day everyday. I’m on Maternity leave and have a 10 month old baby that doesn’t get to watch much TV except our garden videos I the morning 😆. He loves it and perks up when he hears “Hey guys how’s it going.” I think it’s why he enjoys our daily garden tours at our house. Thanks for doing what you guys do!

You talked a bit about the bending down and making the work easy on your back… well I can totally understand!!! I have been gardening about 6 years and at first I was all over the “getting my workout in” mentality however if you want to thank your future self I found that really flexing my rear end and isolation of the gluteus maximus and lower back has helped tremendously. It’s definitely a learned habit to get into. It sounds funny and I really have to make a conscious effort to remind myself “clenched cheeks will save your back for weeks” 😹😹 hope this helps any new or veteran gardeners 😉

Oh my! Those beds are going to be gorgeous! I loved watching the tour yesterday and plan to sit this afternoon and watch it again. Everything is amazing. You and Aaron have the magic touch. I couldn’t imagine grass pathways when you first talked about them. That is because I have never seen grass as green and beautiful as what Aaron has accomplished. The rest of us must be planting the wrong grass. Ha! Ha!
Those surefire begonias are just the best. And next year with white and yellow to the mix will be really great

I thought our 1 week heat wave and now higher temps (high 70s, low 80s) would have wiped out my Spring-planted Pansies, but they're happy, blooming and even have new buds!!
My pansies are also looking really good right now. Maybe they will make it into fall.
