- I have begun activities to regenerate trees that have been cut down for various reasons.
All the logs I use are scraps.
In most cases, collect the cuttable pieces and give them to a recycler.
The video shows a scene where an original goblet is made from cherry branches.

Didn’t realize cherry blossom wood was this yellowish. Gorgeous wood!!! Gorgeous goblet 👍🏻💫🥰‼️ One of my two favorite colors. I love cherry blossoms too!!! They smell so good!!! I use cherry blossom dish soap and hand soap and perfume😌💝‼️

Good morning. It's me again. The cut is breathtaking. The finesse of the cup is remarkable. This red color that you see through the wood is really beautiful. When I watch you do I feel like it's so easy, but I'm sure it's not. It takes a long experience to achieve such wonders. In any case if I try I am more than sure that I manage to send your tool to the scrapyard in less time than it takes to say it. I'm not good at that kind of thing at all. I know how to tinker a little the bare necessities but no more. I think I'm good at what I do. In my thirty-year career I have born many children. Whether by natural or caesarean section I have had very few failures in my professional life. I can do a C-section with my eyes closed as they say but make a cut like that I could not. Yet I love it. That's why I'm captivated by your videos. I think the Internet is a great thing. Seeing what's happening on the other side of the world almost in real time, seeing videos and virtually meeting people and sharing their passions around the world is great. I wish you a very good day. If I may say so, watch out for you. This terrible virus in the world scares me. Thank you for your comment again! In Japan, the lowest temperature has reached a single digit in winter. I think the lathe is also cold and the work frequency is reduced. The tool control and finesse is truly astounding, you are an artist and no mistake. Goblets done like that are far nicer than those with captured rings in my opinion.

Outstanding video. Never thought of a balloon, will try. Have used a tennis ball before. I love the beautiful “cherry blossom “ tree. Have lived in Washington,DC area most of my life and the Cherry Blossoms are our now in DC.

Jon Sayre - Last week or so, someone dumped about 30-40 feet of misc limbs on the back road leading to our house. I saw the limbs, stopped and was surprised to find out they were Cherry tree limbs! I loaded a bunch in my truck and have since been turning misc small items from this “green” wood. I’m up near Laurel if you are in the area i can give you a few pieces!

The chuck uses an inexpensive 100mm standard type.
However, inexpensive products have lower accuracy.
After shaving between centers, it is greatly blurred when attached to the chuck.
VICMARC luxury products seem very accurate.

Q. I think it’s green wood. I have some experience too but stil have problem with drying and crack prevention.
After ready turning wrap it in newspaper and in plastic bag. Every 3 days change or dry paper. Last voor 2 months. Any other ideas?

Good compatibility with green trees.
Even a slightly thick work has never broken.
