- DIY, How to repair cluster lid on 2005 Nissan Altima.
The only glue that bonds automotive plastic is the one I used in this repair.
Super glue or regular epoxy does not bond it.

NOW, I Really Do Need A Whole New Piece/Part. It Is So Badly Cracked -Everywhere...And Parts Are All In Pieces...Falling Off, Etc. SMDH!!!

Thanks! I was waiting too until it developed 2 or 3 cracks. It was time for me to fix it. That special glue was the key to doing this right.
Mine is a 2005 with the Same crack
I bought a new / used one on ebay for $75. It now looks brand new.

Thank you so much. I'm here because one of the vents appears to be sinking back so I can't get to the knob at the bottom like it's falling in. Just confirming the vent is only snapped in place so it could fall backwards?
The vents are only snap in.

Ok 05 Nissan wont start it wants to kick over but it won't all it does is crack and it doesn't start need help asap plz
How you take it off ?
Look at about 7:20 min of my video and you will see that it just clicks into the dash board. Just gently pull it out from all side slowly to release holding clips. Watch closely when I show the bottom of it to see location of the clips.
Can you take out the middle console or get under where the shift knob is like underneath underneath:/
I'm sure you can but you need to disassemble bunch of stuff. I have never done it. I'm sure you can do it.
I bought a 2005 Nissan Altima from a woman and it had been neglected. That dash piece has just fallen to pieces over the past year. I'm not even going to attempt to try to fix it. I'll just wait and see if I can find one in a junk yard or cheap online.
