John Cale has always been my favorite male musician and Laurie Anderson my favorite female musician so, imagine how tripped out I was when she married Lou Reed The love triangle was complete
John Cale has always been my favorite male musician and Laurie Anderson my favorite female musician so, imagine how tripped out I was when Laurie married Lou Reed The love triangle was complete It's a cosmic connection But what else is there What else have I got but that spell
I hand painted his face from the album Fear on a bright yellow t-shirt with black fabric paint but, I left out the nose cause I wasn't sure I could get it right So I go to the Whiskey a go go to see him live and wait for him at the back door So he shows up and saw my shirt and wants to sign it no-one has a pen so we see the show and after someone gave me a magic marker and I approached his limousine and he gladly signs my shirt with the word nose and an arrow pointing at where it should be
Saw him live and alone on stage in Antwerp! A little time ago 80s ? Yeah I must ask the woman I met in 82 semana sancta Murcia she was 17 and we married in 84 , 6 months pregnant and Ooohhh so Beautiful

Lou Reed and John Cale could be described in many ways, reflecting the enormous depth of their music. One thing they are not is average. Some people might claim "Jeff" is the only proper way to spell that name. Does either claim pass the objective reality test? Your position rings hollow...
are you really that much of a tw4t that you think he's average? he's incredible. stop snorting the devil's dandruff, take your head out of your backside and open your ears.
@@geoffwhitehead5045 I don't care if you're a music teacher. It means fk all. I've had several music teachers and though they understood theory they were talentless. They couldn't make anything interesting if they tried. They were mechanical people. Nobody cares if a person can only play 3 chords vs being a maestro. It's completely irrelevant. Music is about character and feeling expressed through to sound. It is utterly worthless to just have the skill but nothing unique to express or offer. Both Reed and Cale have unique expression.
If you can look at his range of work over the last 60 years, or even find anyone to compare it to, and claim that Cale is simply average, you're a damn good troll. In time, except for a few of his early songs, Lou will emerge as a nonentity compared to Cale. Every passing year reinforces that.

Susanna Severin I would say it looks like about 20 years ago. When he released Fragments of a rainy season
I’m not sure who is more average. Lou or John. As average as he is at least John’s not tone deaf.

@@biegebythesea6775 I’m a music teacher. Lou is less than average. His music IQ wouldn’t qualify him to be in an elementary instrumental program.
