Love the sound on my flowmaster, especially the pops when shifting and letting off the gas at high revs, but it just rusts way too quickly. Barely 4 months after installing it, with no snow or salt on the roads it already started rusting and now over a year later it looks like it’s ready to fall apart. It also drones incredibly loud at 2k rpm, which you’ll spend a lot of time in that range. I may switch to the cat back version and do an extra layer of paint or something for a replacement
I have the $180 Dyna Max from Amazon. Sounds like the Borla after a few days. Perfect fit with stainless tips. Love it! It sounds so great! Letting off the gas has some pop and crackle. Three months and still sound great and no rust or discoloration of the tips.
Flowmaster is brutal. I have it on my jku and it’s way too load and the drone is awful. I had the Gibson before the flowmaster which was much better but the Gibson ended up rusting
Yup I have the borla set up. I even removed the resonator and put the borla there and just axle dumped the pipe. And it doesn’t sound like that. It’s real quite just a little louder than stock
I have the Magnaflow on my JK and it is not a well constructed part. The way the hangers are welded on to the body caused the exhause tip to droop with a down ward slant after installation when viewed from the side - it should be level and perfectly horizontal!!!! This makes it look cheap! Contacted Magnaflow but they didn't respond. The end result doesn't look level as they advertised. Their manufacturing is poor and inconsistent! Do not buy from this company - you will regret it!!!
That Borla sounds amazing.
I have the flowmaster, brutal on the highway especially so in 7th gear

I’ve never heard a Jeep sound like any of those lmao

Borla or Gibson to me!
Nice 👍 👍 👍
No way that borla is on a 6 cyclinder.
That borla is not on a 3.6 liter jeep. That is a v8 of some kind with a rev limiter. Most likely a 5.3 gm.

@danamcwhite yep. I'm a bit of car nut, so I have a clue.
I like the borla more

Borla hands down
