Just realized I applied this in college 2 decades ago, but I didn't become famous for it XD. I was taking minimum load, and getting bad grades. I then decided to do the crazy opposite. I maxed out my load, and took full load in summer courses. My friends said I'm crazy. I told them I'm being too laid back and procrastinating when I have low load. That way I'm always pressured to work. And guess what? My grade went way up, and I became top of my class in many subjects. Need to re-activate this method.
But one need to be clear of the side effects. If you constantly set unrealistic deadlines for your workers, you are putting them under constant pressure, and this might stress them to unhealthy levels. Think of health as well.
Damn bro teach me how to be old
That was exactly what I did at university, getting all the work at the last minute😅Recently, I've been working to set up my own business, working on my own and this makes sooooo much sense. Glad I've learnt about it now, thanks
I don't know how I found this channel but found it very nice you got a new subscriber

Thank you for this content!
Great explanation
Problem is your team might fed up with the constant highly compressed schedule and start leaving, if they are not paid more than the industrial standard. This is especially true for senior SW/FW engineers, which are in high demand nowadays. All about finding that sweet spot.
Excelente vídeo
Just wanted to say you make great content, Subscribers doesn't matter, you are providing one of the best content🙌
Parkinson's law has a devastatingly opposite effect on me.
I also don't mind working 120 hours a week as a freelancer, getting paid by the hour or by the project.
However! This doesn't apply when I signed a 40 hour contract where overtime is unpaid, only getting paid 1/3th of my time while the other 2/3th goes towards some billionaire.
literally just finished a project due in a bit 8 mins ago, and this is the first vid that came up, O.o how????? Google is stalking me to much
I also stand in awe of this law! Thank you man.... try a video on the application of this law to money and financial independence. I figured this principle when generalized can apply to almost every facet of one's life.
It’s funny there is an actual name for this in the restaurant industry we call it the time game . I tell my prep guys if it took 45 minutes to cut the onions try next time to cut them in 40 minutes and so on
What about burnout
👍
2:26 they both look similar 😂
