Hey Ben! I just wanted to say thank you real quick. Nothing cliché, just honest thoughts. Anyway, I discovered you I think at the beginning of this year, when I wanted to pick up editing again after a break. I must say, getting back to editing didn’t really work out, but dang your channel definitely inspires me to do so again. Because of you I now know what I want to be when I grow up: a motion graphic designer! You have inspired me so much, and I think that counts for a lot of people here! what software did the majority of people use to make these?
Most of the 2D ones will be made in After Effects, with some frame by frame possibly in Animate or TV paint. The 3D one's likely in 3D. A lot of the workflows probably have a few different software, but the majority will be After Effects.

Am I the only one who thought that Giant Ant piece was unfocused, to the point where it was attempting to "say something about how we live now," but didn't actually say much at all? The design and animation were fantastic, to be sure. But to me the "message," if there was one, was vacuous and banal.
