the way you present information is a masterpiece. congratulations
Thank you so much, very accurate analysis
These videos are so dope. And as an illustrator who specializes in hand-drawn aesthetics - I'm happy to see that! ha ha. Thank you so much!
Thank you. This is so different. I love it. So glad I found your page
Did you find it or did the RUclips suggestions "Find" it for you
Awesome video and highlights!
Great video. This was so informative!
great refs. thx for sharing your milanote
absolutely amazing
By seeing this content I improve my designs, thank you
Great video. A real eye-opener !
Your comment about AI enhancing resolution being like the new vector images rings true to me.
There is some sweet AI tech being used in video games basically as a live filter on top of lower polygon/resolution graphics that then make it appear better than the higher polygon graphics and all using less demanding computer processing than without the AI at actual higher resolution settings.
So theoretically on a computer than can’t run a game at 4K you could run the game at 1080 with the AI enhancement and get 4K or 6K resolution out of it.
What is this AI tech called?
@@driftermorrelo I don’t know the specific name. I saw it on a Two Minute Papers video and something similar on Linus Tech Tips that was built into a TV for upscaling. I don’t think the video game upscaling I saw is being used commercially yet and is more proof of concept from what I gathered. But the way things are moving so far I imagine it’s not long before we see it used commonly.
If your PC can't handle real time rendering at 4K, it'll definitely won't be able to run a good AI upscaling algorithms at 60 FPS for example. AI upscaling is not a magic coming from nowhere, it needs a powerful hardware to do it's thing.
@@alexkosic1832it will for sure not run on an old potato of a computer, but the idea is that they are able to solve for higher resolutions using a different more efficient method. So yeah it will require good hardware and nobody should think their old gaming PC will magically start running current gen AAA games at 4K 120fps. However the efficiencies are meant to give better results than just the standard way we have been doing things for years. So a decent setup running in this new way could be on par with a more expensive setup running the traditional way. I find using new tech to re-solve old problems to be incredibly promising.
Nice motion graphic thank you
I'm seeing so much early 2000s and frutiger aero inspiration in these designs and I love it.
Nice video, thanks!
great video .. thanks
Amazing 😍😍
Great video, may I know what was the monitor that you showed in the video?
Great video!
satisfying video 💯
Amazing video!
This clip really blew my mind

Sick taste, im almost jeaolus
Awsome
The least ASMR asmr video in there
Very goood, Greetings from Dominican Republic !!!!
great
Hey! I bought this title pack too. Got it for my new showreel.
This has been one of the years where I actually enjoy the trends. Ai on the other hand, I really really dislike because so many of them steal art from creators who never gave their permission to use their works.
Будто мы сами как художники не учились на примере других художников. В этом страхе нет никакого смысла.
Love this!! So many great trends. I do wish you would give credit to the artist whoi's visuals you use here. For example Matt Voyce's motion type is used a lot here.
I'm glad you liked the video. I included all the references with URLs on the Milanote board, which is available for everyone to use. It would have been a lot of captions to name all the examples directly in the video.
thats a great compromise! Thank you for sharing I will definitely look at the Milanote board. I agree it'd be way too much to add all the example credits into the video haha but maybe for the ones you pull and make full screen, they deserve their username there at least
@@YesImaDesignerlove this design trends useful also for motion designers
@@YesImaDesignerdo u know any motion designers u love
How do you know what's trending in 2024 when the year has just begun?

What is the name of the site in the background of the video where bento grids are generated. Google didn't help
milanote
accessibility left the chat with those designs...
What fonts are in 0:02 ?
lol literally the featured comments are the negative ones :( still informative tho
thx for this video. i like a lot.
pls, can you tell me name of the game on 05:16?
It's an indie game currently being developed called EthrA:

Very futuristic, but I'm a bit worried that those of us who have a phobia of assemblies will not be able to be comfortable. Eventually designers are going to get tired of using the new features of Adobe Illustrator and they are going to get tired of seeing these goosebumps spinning and moving around in circles.
what fonts are in 3:48?
Anyone got the game's name at 5:14?
Never use a gradient for a flat background, is old, only works on 3d now.
Bendiciones satánicas e ilumunatis para ti Sabrina y una rola de Katatonia - without god para Antonio ❤
Im sort of new to design, but i was wondering if you can achieve these styles by coding in CSS and or Javascript? Specifically the calming rhythms style. Or does all this have to be created in Adobe?
Great question, I'm pretty sure you can apply most of these trends to CSS. I'm not a developer but I have seen some good examples of beautiful CSS animations and interactions using the calming rhythms aesthetics.
How do you have many frames in photoshop? min 5:27

What is the font used for Design Trends 2024 at 0:02?
screen capture + whatthefont website (if u didn't know)
it's Degular font
The hipist, coolest, trendiest up to the minute people think outside of the box. I have my own box and everybody is afraid to look in it.
no more photos in shapes? thank god
Generative AI should never be a trend.
More like a force (of nature?)
Agreed
Absolutely, but it will be
I think you just proved his point 6:50
Just the comment I was looking for. Anti-AI is definitely something I want to see more of this year and in many projects it is happening. I noticed on Kickstarter, creators using No-AI used tag and things of similar nature.
I usually skip the part when people talk about AI because it's usually either stupid anti-AI bs or completely enthusiastic pro-AI bs. But you pretty much nailed it in my opinion.
0:11 what is this website you're looking at ?
It's Milanote. It's a really useful tool for visual planning and ideation.
It's as though people are hungry for positivity. I wonder if it's a reaction to this ongoing Global Pandemic.
Fuck the trend!
how to make such intros like in the video?
It was created in After Effects. We used a template from artlist.io/
On 05:15. what game is it?
It's an indie game currently being developed called EthrA:
x.com/stonelabstudio?s=21&t=obfTUeyTa5zJylaEdlV4Ug
i vomit on those asmr sounds, but i feel hyped when i see these graphics!

It was all fun and games untill Magnific AI abd Runway came into the scene...and they just changed the game
IA is starting already to threaten some Jobs...in some years the "handcrafted design" made by humans will be more valuable while most companies to save cost on a design Team will be using mainly AI, Big Data and Algorithms to find the trend design and finally the approval of some celebritie designer...lol
This dude never heard of Windows tiles and thinks Apple invented everything
i forgot if i'm living in the 2024
The art world is divided between two groups, that of Color and that of Light.
Those of Color will say that it's the same thing, those of the Light will say that it is not.
Those of Color disrigard those of Light, those of Light are sick of those of color.
In the end there can only be one.
But why must every Design Man wear that hat?
0:45 that was disgusting

Made with HARPA AI
These all already feel outdated
RELAXING ABOUT AI. It may take a while to adapt to this idea: A photo is nothing else than the output of an idea that we have on our mind. Majority of the professional photography requires a laborious production, for example in fashion getting the model, stylist, make-up artists, organizing a location and so on. That is nothing to do with photography itself. So the essence of photography is to visualize in your mind "that model with that look on that location" and then finding a way executat that output like a camera, AI, photoshop.... the media it doesn't matter. Exactly what happened when we moved from film to digital photography. People who used digital were not even consider photographers.
i hate AI :D
That last one is far
fetch.
Welcome back to 2015
100% agree
How to ruin a design 101:
Make it trend
Make it corporate
Make it so it will be used everywhere, even in the fields/products it makes no sense to use
Attached political ideology to it (corporatism, feminism, liberalism etc.)
And BAM, you ruined an original design!
"It uses ASMR."
Proceeds to play the most disgusting sound possible. God, that made me want to rip my ears off.
why did you suggest ai ffs
It has undeniable effect and influence on the creative industry, ignoring it won't make it go away
I understand, but I would rather it be used for concept art rather than being used in actual posers and silage etc
You are delusional about AI. The graphic designers are done. This is it. Pack your crayons ;)
That's what they said about painters when photography started. The two art forms still co-exist to this day.
OMG! my man @nicl4m on the 5:23!!! that's wassuuuup
Rubbish
Nice video!
What total BULLSHIT
