The gun is made/produced for TCP Global. I bought it close to 2-3 years ago and absolutely love it. I don’t have any expensive guns but coming from your basic home ones it honestly makes you feel like Superman. If you can do good work with a cheap gun you can do amazing work with a good gun. That’s what I believe this one to be is a truly good gun. I mostly paint single stage paints on heavy machinery and dump trucks and the results are amazing! There’s a long reach excavator I painted in my videos on my channel and while there’s no close up of the paint, it’s smooth as glass coming from this gun. Absolutely love it!
There’s also another company, selling on Amazon, by the name of BEETRO that has this identical gun, but just has their name on it. I hope it is a good gun for me. I’ve only done a few practice runs with it using water. It feels good though. And seems to spray well. Time will tell.
When you find out who makes Iwata and can buy a $500-1000 gun for $0.30 con the dollar you'll be tickled pink. The gun has their name but the CAP (they make them for Iwata) says Anest Iwata on them.
Brian all of your tutorials are so good, hopefully every repair shop across the globe sit their apprentices down to watch your lessons. You are probably personally responsible for an awful lot of better looking repaired cars in this world than you could ever dream of! .. Live long and prosper my friend 🖖
This color and the finish just WOW... Brian + Mario = Superb!
If you start to get a paint-run on a door, don't panic, keep going, follow the run to the bottom, give it a second or two, then wipe the excess off the base with one finger.
That was advice from an old Polish expert cellulose sprayer in the 60's. I used it often !.
never tried this one i usually just sand it off with 1000 grit
The old Polish Toni, also gave me the best kept secret, as nobody told you anything in those days.! How to thin the ceiiulose correctly to spray. Which was........keep adding thinners, stirring and checking viscosity, untill each drip falling had No tail, then it was perfect. !
I can't remember pressures, but test on areas starting at about 20 P.S.I. raising till O.K.. At a fan width which suited yourself.! .........
I bought this same gun a few months ago to paint my mustang. My first time spraying a car, and this gun gave me fantastic results. I am very happy with it.
I've learned much from you im doing a 69 gto im jamming it right now and I'm almost done with that then have to put the car together after that some blocking and then ready for paint every time I watch your videos and applie what I learn from you it just works and looks amazing thank you so much for your videos and help
The wet look on the paint is surreal!! Awesome job!!
Absolutely 💯 % goodness from Brian's teaching I agree with everyone else. I will be checking out Mario's class as well. Thanks again Bro for another great lesson. Youll make us all professional auto painters yet. Trucker Ray ✝️ ❤️
My man, learned so much from you, keep sharing! God bless!
Love the color and the lesson!!!
That turned out beautiful . Very nice work
Your videos are helping train my guys and the next generation of painters. I wish there was a channel like this for bodymen lol
Great job. That's a beautiful color.
Great paint job wonderful
Nice. Great info. Thank you
Brian - awesome video and informative content. Maestro👊🏻👍🏻
Good gun Brian great job love it
Love the videos!!! I got to ask a question. Is the Master Pro 44 better than a HF Black Widow? I wish someone would do a video comparing, the R500, Master Pro, Black Widow and EuroPro
You’re a great teacher 🔥👌🏾
GREAT VIDEO...seems the master pro works really good...looks great...
Thank you for the video paint society!
Mario did a great job
Great videos Brian this is going to inspire me to set up my little area and do some Spraying myself I have not decided on a gun yet but I was just wondering what you would recommend for smaller jobs for I just work on motorcycle parts such as gas tanks fenders tour packs. Or will one of these full size larger guns work the same For smaller projects.. Thanks I appreciate any insight your channel is awesome
I bought the same gun as well, got excellent results shooting clear but make sure your air compressor can keep up, move's quite a bit of air. Cheers!
Like watching a robot paint. Great work!
good to see you behind the camera
I very much appreciate your channel and all the effort you put in to bring such quality informational content. I have to do some paint repair on my old truck - currently doing research and trying to work up my nerve/ plan for this work. You have been invaluable sir.
Dang, asked Alexa to add the 44 to my cart last night, for $139. This morning it's $169 and says one left. Your definitely an influencer!
This looks like a good spray gun for the money my spray gun finally is done after 2 years ( cheap gun ) but I used it a lot . I think I will give this one a shot
Awesome video Brian and thanks for sharing that gun with us is that gun a better one to buy than the iwata kiwami 4 much love ❤️ to and Mario I really enjoyed that video Brian 🙏🙏💯💯👍👍👌👌💪💪💪💪
20 years ago i learned to stop the paintflow on each side..it reduces the waste of paint. i saw a lot of other fails bit the result is dope🤘
Thanks for the info! Now what is a small compresor can uses to paint car
Bought this 6 months ago and I love it but as good as this gun is I think the 88 is even better it’s noticeably lighter and sprays more like a lph400 with more volume
Gun looks a whole lot like my Euro that I got from my local paint shop for $200 bucks. And it is a pretty dang good gun I've had it for almost 2 years now no issues. I use it now for my sealer gun and I've got me a develvis dv1 and that gun is amazing LOL but not cheap I treat it like it's a princess LOL
Gun looks a little like a devilbiss pro. Great vid thanks to you both.😀
I am still using old debelvis pot guns. Might have to try one of these
Thank you so much for this video درود بر شما متشکرم اقا
Another GOOD one is the FLG 5 in my opinion.
I’ve been using this gun for a little while now. It used to be cheaper too. I’m pretty sure I paid 119.00 for this gun. I like it.
Hey brian, can i apply primer but spray the base and clear the next day ?
Looks like a Devilbiss Tekna ProLite copy. I own three of them and love those guns. I think I'm going to buy one of these and compare.
I'm going to paint a car for my son and have no experience.
If you could reccomend 1 gun that would give us the very best chance at getting a decent finish what would it be?
Thanks for all the videos.
Again, great informative content. Can you please tell me what size PPS adapter you put on this gun? I need a female with 2.0 version. Thank you
I think it would be great if you could let us know the size of the compressor and the available cfm. Many guns spray well with big cfm from the compressor. Even a 5hp single stage compressor with a 60 gallon tank run out of air with a medium quality spray gun. The 1st half of the car looks better than the other half because the compressor can not keep up with the needs of the spray gun. With the HVLP guns, they do spray better with bigger shop compressors.
Very Nice
Nice Sprite gun.
That is beautiful finish! Did you guys sand and buff? Ither way great job!
Only the dirt
How does this compare to the Iwata Kiwami 4 that you made a previous video on? Aside from price, which one is better for an experienced painter?
Brian, thanks for another great educational video. From my experience I wouldn't trust using the 710 in an open air shop. I think it will die back if it's used without heating booth. I am currently trying out USC 40-1 clear in the open air environment and had great results. Shine is incredible and leveling is excellent as well. Can you please try it one day and let me know your thoughts? The kit is about $160 and I think it can go h2h with top PPG or Shervin Williams clears that cost $350+. Once again I am looking for a good open air clear that will last without losing gloss after 30 days. Thanks again.
Speedokote smr 42 high solids same price. Wont be disappointed
hey brian, how about doing a review on a intertool 1.3mm spray gun?
saludos desde Venezuela siempre veo tus videos y he aprendido muchisimo quisiera saber tu opinion entre esta pistola y la devilbiss pro lite t20
I have the Master Pro series 22. Been using it for 1 1/2 years now for smaller jobs. Works great. BUT they do need quite a bit of air. Been wanting to try their other full size guns. Upgraded to a 2 stage 60 gallon this year, and its been a Great investment. Consistent and dryer air is a real blessing
Your comment has me shopping. Looks like the 22 has a 1.0 tip. I shoot a lot of small parts with a 1.3 gun, constantly changing fan pattern.
I'm pretty frugal, would you recommend the 22, or is there any under $120 guns available these days, for these tasks?
Have a great weekend!
Looks like a gti pro lite, so I guess it would spray good like one too 👍
I recently became the (untrained) sprayer at a joinery company spraying 2k polyurethane but I noticed you don’t denib in between top coats? Is it better that way? Sorry for asking but I’m trying to become better at work
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 thx
how did you adjust the gun beautiful job
Brian do you think that the FLG5 has a comparable outcome as this gun
I always try to watching how people spray to determine how i like to spray my base and clear
Was looking at all what comes with gun/kit. What is the difference between the MPS and your PPS system?
Brian master pro 44 or the Astro euro pro? What do you think is better?
Hi Brian , I need to do a candy paint job on a motorcycle , so small panels , it's a medium metallic , would this gun be ok or will I need to have a bigger nozzel .cheers
Painted my motorcycle with that gun and the pattern is just like a high end gun
What's the pps 2.0 adapter number for this paint gun?
I paint signs with water based paint, tired of buying cheap airless sprayers. Is this a good option for me. I also spray water based polyurethane as well. Thanks
This looks like Italco TTS gun but with few holes in the plastic ring behind the cap. TTS is 120$ in EU, and is laying glass, but it is air hungry in my opinion, for me it’s working best at 36PSI, but yes, TTS is LVMP and this one is HVLP.
Currently I just (two weeks ago) bough Walcom Slim X Light HTE, and it was only 145$, I was blown away, so I bough Walcom Slim Kombat HTE, and it is making laying clear so easy, that one was 152$ in my country, new old stock, currently they are at 172$, and that is super cheep in comparison to US price. But they are really great nice guns for home, they work nice at 29PSI, for both base and clear, use them with UHS clear, and I tried them both on base and clear and they act identical.
Do a review on the harbor fright spectrum 1.7 review
Before I switched to all Walcom guns I used a brand called WTP and there clear box edition was identical to it. The master, WTP, atom, beevro, and a couple other are all the same models sold under those names just as those names different models. It was a good gun for clear
super Finishing Exland
Would a 26 gallon 4.5 cfm compressor be good enough for this gun? I'm not gonna be paint an entire car I'm just going to paint my bumpers and a fender
How would you compare this to the Devilbiss FLG 5? I picked up the FLG5 for around a 100$ and have been happy with it but have only sprayed some paiint 3 times in my life, LOL.
What adaptor number for 3m 2.0 system thanks
Do they make a Dekup adapter for this gun?
hi Brian, love your channel! I have learned alot from you . Which master pro gun is this one, there are three different Master Pro 44 guns on amazon, all different prices. thank you!
Hi. Its in the description
The price point puts this close to the ANEST IWATA KIWAMI4-13BA4. You have reviewed both of them as great budget guns. Which would you buy if you had to choose?
The problem when trends cause a surge in demand is the price starts to exceed value and places a budget item in a tier that it isn't justifiable. The same happened to the Black Widow. For those prices and under... Kiwami and FLG5 all day every day
How do you feel about a Devilbiss FLG 4 for a starter gun? That’s what I’ve been using but all I’ve sprayed is a hood, 2 suv spoilers, and a few other small panels, all using the eco line sealer/base/clear from my local paint shop. The results I got I was super happy about being the first time I’ve ever sprayed, the hood was my first job and it only had some orange peel that came out well enough after cut/buff, and I’m pretty sure it was due to airflow issues. I use the 1.5 tip for sealer and 1.3 for base and clear, taking it apart and thoroughly cleaning it between each step.
My other question is that I’m about to spray single stage for the first time on my brothers Miata’s fender, the rest of the paint is the original single stage. Should I use my 1.3,1.5, or 1.8 tip? And for compressor, mine is an old 23 gallon that was rated for 7+cfm, but i used a tool yesterday that couldn’t hold 4.2cfm @90(dropped from 125psi to 70 after only 2 minutes), should I use this or my dads fairly new kobalt 8 gallon that’s rated for 4 @ 90? Like I said, just doing a small fender. Sorry for the wall of text, I’ve been watching primarily your channel since I decided to try out painting during the pandemic lol
1.3 Tip for Single Stage, id use the larger compressor. i hear alot of good things about the FLG.
Any thoughts on the LiME LiNE 1.4 mm PRO HVLP that's also sold on Amazon? Saw some vids here on Y of it being used on motorcycle gas tanks, but wondered if anyone used it on a car. Thank You!
Brian, how would you compare this gun to a astro euro pro HE? Your videos rock🤘🏼
I would also like to know how this gun Compares to the Euro Pro he. Brian did a review of the he and had me sold on buying one of those till I watched this video.
It’s hard to look past an iwata kiwami at those price point trust me
Mario a beast. But is the gun really worth the money or is he just a good painter? Eh I'm about to buy one
Its the poor man's Gti prolite. I know this because it was the first clear gun i bought lol. Lasted a year, was pretty good for the price ($120 at the time)
i wish you would give the ANI R-160-Q a shot. id like to seee how you compare it.
i would say anni spray gun for 100 euros is great for european buyers realy nice atomatization and long lasting
I like...
Brian, I just received 2 Italco guns. Both were from China, but I heard good things about Italco. I juist used both tonight and they are insanely good. Both were around $150. One of them is a digital LVMP and the other is a non digital LVMP. Look and feel almost identical to Sata. I've bought knock off Satas before and they were garbage. You really should check them out and review them.
Pro lite copy by the looks?
This vs Flg-5? My local paint shop recommended this gun a few years ago.
Is that an HVLP gun? Is the pressure you noted in captions typical for other HVLP guns ?
I remember 5 years ago when I was telling those students at Sheridan College how good this gun is for just $119.00 they were all making jokes of me.
How does the misty cloud of material not create a spotty texture/overspray?
What type of clear, laid beautiful
So y’all used the finish one clear coat on this job?
How does it compare to the ANEST IWATA KIWAMI4 1.3mm? They're pretty close in price.
Will a 10gallon compressor work enough for that gun?
Love your video’s. Have you ever tried the Harbour Freight HTE Black Widow spray gun? Would love to see a credible review on that budget gun as opposed to the many home diy painting review videos. Keep it up,,,,,, and I will keep learning!!!
He did reviews a while aback
@@kevinali1676 . Thanks! Found it from a couple years back.
What's the color/paint code for that car? It's gorgeous...
Brian, excellent work here as always, Question: I'm tackling my first paint job, but have hit a problem. I'm trying to lay down the sealer and I'm getting a ton of tiny little pops or bubbles in the paint as it lays down leading to an almost sandpaper-rough finish. It might be water in my line, but unsure. using a 9cf/min LVLP gun at about 22psi w/ a 21 gal single stage compressor outfitted w/ 50' of PEX and drain cocks as well as a water trap desiccant/dryer combo. I still have to replace the desicant after about 20 minutes though. I think I need to rig up a cooler between my tank and PEX run to get more water out, any thoughts?? Thx
You want to get yourself a coalescing filter that filters to 0.01 microns, that should solve any problems with water in your airline.
@@mycarprobs6688 just ordered a Motorguard M30, hoping this will fix the issue. Thx!
The little pops or bubbles can be solvent pop. Maybe you're laying down to heavy/too fast. The sandpaper finish could be too little air through the gun or too much fluid. Hope this helps
@@aaronmanmohan8966 I'll look into this too, thx for the suggestion. I have the fluid wide open, the fan just in from wide open, and PSI set to 22-ish (optimal pressure for this gun listed in the manual) I'll perform some tests once I get the new sub-micron filter attached and report back. much Thx:)
So what did you find out?@@csb8336
Which gun would you recommend for clear coat, I have a hard time finishing DIY projects and getting a good finish for the clear coat.
Options in the middle ground....
Thanks and love your channel.
Gti pro lite
@@HondasAreNotForChristmas
Devilbiss? I am going to search for it thanks...
Anest Iwata Kiwami 4 is a great gun for clear
Would you recommend this gun or the 3m gun for a beginner?
3m you have more options but this is built better
Anybody know which PPS adapter works with this gun? Thanks.
Is this a stock Honda/Acura color???
