After cleaning, restart the machine, the LENS light will still keep flashing red, you need to press the reset button again to confirm the LENS cleaning, then the LENS light will be green.

Great review! And I am so glad you got an enclosure for the machine. I always worry a bit when I see them open air and used inside! I think you should call episodes like this "Reviews with the Inspector"😄
The inspector was happy to help with this one!!
Beautiful cat. I have 2 furbabies myself. Found you through Bentley House Minies
Not having to connect to someone else's computer (server) over the Internet is a good point.
Too many tools require tethering to a proprietary site to be useful. Yet another way in which your data is harvested.
Thanks. I’ve been watching a lot of videos on the Xtool P2, which can churn out sellable items to pay for itself. But this video shows a hobbyist level laser that might more realistically meet my needs. Totally unrelated, I liked the cat.
Very informative review! The Inspector seems to approve too😊
Great video..Thank you!
As I am n old model maker (who can stop anytime I want honest) I have found your projects & reviews interesting.
Making it though is only half the fun and the point.
Could you examine how you use the miniatures/big-atures you make in film & video?
I did wonder initially about the lack of protective bottom plate and enclosure to protect from fumes and flames...
Why don't you ever post
found this very interesting, is there a site that provides files (like 3d printing fies) or how are the cuts designed ?
Yeah, there are a ton of templates for fonts, boxes, and a ton of other stuff.
Colour engraving on steel?! Do you mean adjusting the power such that the steel is taken to a precise temperature corresponding to an oxide layer thickness for a particular colour?
I believe that is how it works.
Great review! I'm curious whether you purchased the 40 watt, 22 watt or 12 watt version? Thank you!
Oh, wait. I just heard you mention is was 40 watt.
what lightburn software are you using, 32 or 64 or other? just ordered one and wanted to start fiddling with it in advance.
The 32 and 64 versions are for different computer systems. You'll need to choose the one that will work for your computer.
Is this thing made out of chinesium?
My local maker space has a CAD$100 monthly membership, which is more than I can handle right now.
That's daylight robbery...
@@DimensionDevices A lot of it is due to being in the Greater Vancouver Regional District where land values and rents, both domestic and personal, are insane.
why no update?
I did wonder about the cat at first, as pets are a no no around lasers! but when i realized it was no real review no demo involved at all, as i expected have, and as I have ordered this laser myself, which is my first ever laser that arrives soon, and was hoping for some hints on its use I am fraid this video was of no use to me. And i feel you should not of put review in the title, as it was not a review just a man waffling on doing nothing! but i did persist watching further on into it in hopes of seeing something only to be disapointed,
It's a review, not a tutorial. He advises watching some tutorials to get started.
