Also I did some optimization calculations, the best time to stop descending should be around 4pm or if you can hit max iridium spawn rate( almost 6k floors) before that, but I lack the time to test it. figure you might want to give that a try and see how it goes. if it doesn't work well, let me know so I can adjust my equations. awesome videos btw, I am addicted to these runs lol
Yeah, just sleeping and buying rock candy every week isn't hard. Starting at floor 6k would leave only 10 hours to grind iridium. In 1.4.0 when you could get full floors of iridium super quickly people could still only get 16k ish ore in closer to 18 hours. Even if we round that up to 20k ore with infinite ladders it would be like 11k ore in 10 hours. Keep in mind that this would not remotely translate to 1.5 because explosive ammo is much worse. Starting at 4 pm would probably result in 5-6k ore.

i think these tricks could only be used for mouse and keyboard . Yesterday I Test On the NS can't save time like pc ,it's too hard to use controller, maybe i need a marco controller to simulate mouse and keyboard double pause and left and rigth button down at same time .
How do you pause buffer so efficiently? I tried it for the first time today but I was only able to make it to floor 2100 or so after an entire day, meanwhile you get down a thousand floors after a couple in game hours.
Don’t be put down by that, it’s not easy to do and I had to practice a lot to get this run. There are 2 primary factors at play with the technique. The first is the timing of pauses in black screen. You want to pause the moment the ladder outline becomes visible in the black. For my pace this meant internalizing how long that was after placing a ladder because reacting would put me behind, using the outline to verify rather than lead. The other factor is the placing of ladders. Attempting to place a single ladder in the wrong spot and reactively pausing again takes up the time of multiple floors. This must be rigorously avoided by doing some form of double pause/screenshot strategy, otherwise it will kill your pace.
Magnets. Iridium bands, glowstone rings, and large magnet rings have essentially the same effect. Just get 4 total of those and combine the different ones together.
Isn't spamming pause/unpause sort of a game mechanic abuse? Not a glitch, but certainly not playing as intended. I wonder how much iridium would be achievable without abusing this method.

Best farming tool? Normal/mega Bombs or Sling Bombs? Mega Bombs has so much coverage but it is kinda slow compared to Sling Bombs

You can't buy them, you have to craft them or find them. Glowstone is I believe mining level and iridium bands are combat 9.
