I love the control I get on a SnoGo, and also love that I don’t get so freaking exhausted on them. They’re great for knees that have been around the block a few times too. 😅
Love seeing you 💣 the slopes in one, and thanks for the perspectives on loading and unloading. I’ve never fallen while riding a SnoGo, but I’ve had a pretty good spill off the lift. 😬 I think they were just running them super fast because of the Spring Break crowds though. 😂

The e versions are waaay cooler as one can ride on the flat and even go uphill on the more powerful versions . pricey though.

You definitely need a FOX factory with Kashima Coating for this. 😅....
Snowboarding right now in Verbier Switzerland with my CAPiTA Mercury 158w and would really love too try this one tbh.
But since I MTB the rest of the year with my Specialized Stumpjumper/ Scott Genius/ Transition Spur I'm super happy to Snowboard and Ski right now and not sitting on my Bike.
But would love to try it out.
    Cheers from Switzerland

Still some good storms that bring some good snow Still. But last year was the bomb to be at utah with record breaking snow. I see a handful of snow bikes that go up to the resorts when im at work. Makes me jealous im stuck working, lol. Looks like fun.

Looks like a lot of fun. I think I'd be more of a renter than a buyer due to the cost and how often I might ride it and having to store it.

Why 2 skis on the back? One would be better. Seems like that would make it faster.

Stability and weight distribution. A two ski model requires you to dismount when you stop, which is impossible in deep powder or sudden stops. With three you never fall over, the bike stands on its own and has more edges for carving.

Those are a blast! We had them in the1970’s . IMHO, much better than skis. If you fall, you won’t break your ankle.

I’ve been building these things since the early 1990’s when the GT-Snow Racers were super popular and more money than my family could afford.

This is the kind of thing people try a couple times, then it will dust away in the shed never to be seen again. There's lots of contraptions you could throw down a mountain that will simply not make it stick because it's a gimmick like that one. I could make a shoppingcart with skiis on, and sell that. I could do it, but I won't.
Keep the skiis/snowboards and dump the saved money into a mountainbike instead is my 2 cents.

Point your knees as you would on flat turns putting more weight on the Downhill ski as you would normal skiing.. ;)

You put the locking clips on wrong. They have to go in more so the round part clips over the axel.

I’m a snowboarder and also have one of my own Sno-go’s as well I consider myself very experienced on these things and believe you have more control on a Sno Go than you do as a skier or snowboarder and it’s a lot easier on the body. You can ride this thing hard for 3-4 days in a row, and your body barely feels the effects

    • @KellySimon
      @KellySimon 6 месяцев назад +1

Ridiculous. I have way more control all day on a SnoGo than when I’m exhausted on skis. I’ve never had an out-of-control spill on one, whereas two of my family members either crashed into or were crashed into by skiers or boarders this past week alone.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 JOKES....Whats the point of the fox fork when all your weight is stood on the rear. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Might aswell just strap some boards on a bmx. It would work way better 🤷‍♂️

Having been riding one of these for 4 seasons you absolutely want the front shock for when you are hitting the bumps and jumps. Most of your weight is shifted forward to keep traction on the front ski.

      He’s right
Theses are just skiing with a walker great for learning how to ski, and people that are say, less athletic…
They make real, full suspension skibikes for people ready to take off the training wheels
