- Last minute decisions are always the BEST. We decided to head to Moab, Utah for the weekend and we got to meet up with my good friend Madison Pitts. We decided to ride the Jackson trial, it's rated as a double black trail. And we quickly realized why, this trail was super exposed in some areas, steep and tech. But extremely fun and in my opinion this trail isn't talked about much. If you are in Moab and want to ride some good trails this one is def worth it.
On day two of our trip we went to check out a trail thats known to be one of the scariest trails out here in Moab. If you thought this one was exposed wait till you see the next one. Hardest trail and Pucker factor.... depends on who you ask. Portal, P. Spider, the Captain.. Maybe?
Some recommended riding Spinal Tap trial in Richfield UT. Could you do a review on it? 1.5 hours West of Moab.
Can you ask benstanziale to post the set up that he has on his Dodge Ram? It's because I have the same truck. And I am looking on doing something similar.

That would be a good way to get up to the top. On days like these I do like the challenge and long days on the bike though
E-bikes are not allowed on non motorized trails.

Portal
My guess, The Portal. I rode in Moab back in 1994 and the Portal was my favorite trail there. Porcupine Rim my second favorite, but I haven't been back since.
Been there almost 30 years ago (27 🤔🤔)… landed in LA (from Paris) , bought trek Y22 on Pico Blvd, took plane to Las Vegas, rental car to Moab… wonderful week 😀. I need to go back there …

Been many times on bike and motorcycles. But with motorcycles there is no WALKING!!! You have to ride everything. Unless your strong enough to lift your motorcycle 🤣 totally love Moab
Enjoying my rear Kenda tire because of you. Probably will upgrade the front eventually. Ben is a lucky guy getting to ride with two women who enjoy the hard stuff more than most!
Love Moab, been there many times since moving to Colorado last year from Georgia. Rode WE last month to celebrate one year with my third aortic valve. Videos do no justice to the scenery.
Great video. I highly recommend Captain Ahab while you are in Moab.

Probably Mud Swallows nests (small bird), that fell off, poop still against the wall :)... Bats go in caves or deep cracks in walls 🌲🦇🚵♀🦇🏜

What's up with those crazy glasses/goggles that you and Maddie wear? Clear lens in bright sun and no trees? Huh? So much coverage, it seems like fogging would be an issue on climbs?
I enjoy clear lenses!! On this ride though we probably would have benefited with a little tint.

I think the poop is from the rare diamond billed rock pecker. They create the holes in the sandstone around Moab. That’s what Mike from Moab Motorsports told me.

Thank you Heather Ben and Madi for sharing one awesome video. That trail looked amazing and very technical but hey we all like a bit of technical stuff now and again to test our skills. Sorry I can’t recommend any trails in America don’t live there I’m in New Zealand if you wanted to come over here then yes I can recommend plenty of trails. 😊❤

Do it! I did a 3.5 wk trip to Pisgah / Asheville area (North Carolina) from UK in July. Crazy Hot n humid but so many amazing trails. Watch out for snakes and bears!

Ha, great timing. I was at that Amasa Back parking lot two days ago and rode up HyMasa and down Capt. Ahab. As you showed, great riding and epic scenery. Years ago I did Portal trail which has that one super sketchy spot, so that's one I think is what you're talking about. Exposure like I've never seen before! Once you get past that spot, it is a rowdy, fun ride down to the road.
I can't wait to share where we'll be riding next. Mayybeeeeee Portal
