    I listened to this video on my way to a sports card show. There was one vendor with a handful of comics. Ironically, he had ASM 316 in a 9.6. The universe spoke, so I had to listen. Great addition and great cover added to the collection.

    You have to take a very hard and truthful look over what many people consider to be raw high-grade books. Is that an eighth, nine, 9.4? From wildly overprinted books like copper in a wildly speculative and unregulated market, most people shy away from raw. Because it’s just not worth it, sellers are constantly over grading those books and there are billions of those things sitting overpriced in the market that are not 9.8 quality.

      SAFE! To be honest, I wrote the intro for this video before I started checking in on the prices, so I didn’t know what I was going to find. There were some close ones in there though. • @CoMoComicBooks
      @CoMoComicBooks  Год назад

      If it’s a really nice, high grade copy it is 100% good! That means that it is a newsstand edition. It would have originally been sold on a spinner or magazine rack, unlike direct editions (which don’t have the barcode) that were sold through specialty comic book stores. High grade newsstands can fetch a premium as they are typically fewer in numbers due to the wear/tear that comes along with how they were merchandised.

    Anything (ANYTHING) is worth ONLY what one is willing to pay for it. If ppl want books that are mass produced and willing to pay 1 million dollars then the book will be 1 million dollars. Does it mean this worth 1 million? NO it's just what ppl are willing to pay for it. Be it stupidity, mass hypnosis or manipulation of the market by RUclips channels and influencers. What matters most is not DEMAND it's scarcity. Stop buying comics and revisit the hobby in 5/6vywars and all those NEW books you purchase for 100+ bucks won't be worth there cover price. My advice is buy any comics that are scarce no matter what it is. When times get rough you CAN'T trade me any comic for my steak or to be a little more humorous toilet paper might as well use that Amazing fantasy 15 to wipe your butt because as I said ANYTHING is ONLY worth what one is willing to pay as I've seen crazy ppl on eBay have buy it nows at $999,999 with "air port drop off of your choice with $10,000 up front book has been in a bank vault etc .." and it's a ASM 299 LMFAO so ask what you want and sit on it till you meet worms. Me? I'm buying anything with Hitler in the cover (silver age mostly) and buy what you like stop buying books like you're day time traders (stocks) based on Disney+ shows and movies they (Disney) will go under soon with there woke agenda. Watch!

      Not sure on that. This is the follow up to the original video, I hadn’t thought about doing a follow up to the follow up. I would suspect with the drop in Bronze/Copper/Modern across the board that some or most of these may be flat or even off a bit in the current market.
