This game basically continues the trend of Jin getting gradually stronger each game, starting from Tekken 5 when he was one of the worst characters, to now being seen as one of, if not the strongest character in Tekken 8.
He was broken in TTT, T3 and T4
He was at his strongest in Tekken 4 for sure

He's truly becoming his own man. I wonder if he'll give up on his quest to "end the Mishima bloodline" and just simply defeat Kazuya. He's clearly shown that you can control the devil without resorting to evil

@@dejawho4147 He has all of devil jin's cd moves from his omen stance, including a launching hellsweep and dj's cd44. He gets a version of otgf too(smaller launch, instant screw /bound with ~25 dmg but 0 execution involved)

@@ultimatesenshi9 I think it's a normal low parry but there are different animations, cause I saw a clip where Jun does a low parry but the animation is slightly different

Everytime I watch any of these, T7 feels so ancient(Models, stages, faces). Hope in EVO they announce release date.

I was thinking about it and after seeing it on action, I think that the heat system would be PERFECT if you actually began without meter and built it not by offense, but by defense: with movement and blocking. I think it would create an awesome dynamic
I feel like its just jin muscle memory. Jin has lots of new moves routes and strings, but he plays largely the same. Beta been out for a literal day and people already got his new bnb's down.
Many prolly already know this but pressing up during zen cancels it to neutral and allows to do any move from it

With the characters in the game right now I think i'm gonna have to main Jin. Looks the most interesting so far. Hopefully Lee comes soon though.

Btw for those who dont know, you can basically do like for example… f4, cancel dash into ws4 into b2,1 into (if timed properly into)b3f1, quickly r1 (manual heat ingage)….. quick run up so your close and do jins demon stance db1+2 and get a bound to then continue your combo

I don't know why but the colors look awfull. Red looks like purple and white looks like grey and such.
all I got from this is only juggle and chip damage is recoverable and that's very nice 👌🏾
The thing holding me off from loving this game is that its made by unreal engine 5 which is the engine last generation engine made by epic games

The game looks amazing but just too many visual effects. It's hard to see the actual moves which was a big plus on Tekken. It's the fighting choreography and not the effects that made Tekken iconic
Too bad you have to play on s**tty PS5 with crazy input delay and lag netcode just cause Sony paid Harada to delay the PC beta.

tekken 8 only graphic + sound effects good but tekken 8 to much flashy+ quickly health bar gone + dropping many time combos. tekken 7 number 1 game untill now. I think tekken 8 can't beat 👊Tekken 7.

Yooooo! I’ve played tekken tag tournament in the arcade when I was younger and haven’t touched it since. Straight mortal Kombat this whole time and just recently got into T7 and I started to miss it again. My main is hworrang lol I know I misspelled it but I’m definitely getting T8! I love how the combat system is so different. Each button corresponds to their limbs and that idea is just damn sick yo 🤘

They should bring back DeviI jin as base roster or DLC. Many ppl would be aware that the original plans for T8 was gonna have DeviI Jin as a battIe transformation to Jin during heat system but got cancelled eventually

To show that it isn't a normal wavedash when Jin's eyes glow red he gets a free electric without having to do the just frame

Yes but nerfed if an opponent does a string you no longer block and have to commit to parrying every follow up. So now Just use parry against running moves that are single hit. If someone is mashing just use his armor move or if your in heat use omen to get your turn back.
