I bought a pair of the Mad Spotters and they are FANTASTIC. I decided to give up barbell bench press due to aging shoulders and these holders allow me to keep doing fairly heavy dumbbell bench press. Worth every penny I spent.

But without the Mad Spotters, I felt like I always waste more energy on loading the dumbbells into position than actually pressing them, and sometime failed to get up after the last rep.

Also a big fan of Cobra Grips. They are cheaper than Versa Grips but don't feel cheap at all. The wrist straps are more comfortable than Versa Grips as well due to the padding. I'd suggest the rubber option over the leather one, but the leather isn't bad either.
One thing regarding the Squat Harnesses: all of the newer ones can be adjusted to fit any weight stack and will allow much deeper range of motion. They also work with trap bars for hands-free squats and deadlifts. Just fyi!

I had those spotters about 10 yrs ago but they were like 20 quid back then and then had a velcro neoprene sleeve on the bottom to wrap around the dumbbell handle, which made it kinda bulky to grip. Stopped using them after a while as they added setup time. Ye never thought to remove the sleeve
