So you can't open the tailgate to get anything out with this setup... Anyplace you go to camp to use this hitch hammock hanger, will most likely be some trees available. Out West May be a different story. Good idea, but not practical for using the truck bed in tandem.
Maybe a free style frame,triangular On the ends and a top post over the top connecting the 2 frames? Just a thought.i really do like the hammock,saving g up for one

Had a tree branch fall on mine without the rainfly and it was fine.
But can you still change the tampon in that truck with the hammock set up? Or do you have to take it down first?

Best where trees are sparse. You can always lift stuff right out of the truck bed. Thanks for watching ✌️
