David, I like that hammock hanger and now it has an integral tarp..awesome.. I must say, you sir have come a long way since that fire devastated and turned your life upside down.. I have been a long time fan and subscriber. Keeping it real..oh love the overland jeep..we have a 1993 Toyota 4runner.( not a 4x4 😪) but it's what I could afford after my widowmaker. Looking for the 4x4 version..one day.. Stay safe, Mr. Pathfinder
Hey Dave! I’m in the Reedley Ca, natural recourses program in college and I’ve been spreading the word on campus about your channel . Your are the chesty puller of natural recourses !
Dave, you should have showed us footage of you laying in the hammock with this tarp system. I believe the tarp will sag as your weight bends the arms of the hammock hitch. Another thing is that since there is no cordage Ridgeline, rain will puddle on that trap setup. The hammock hitch by the company is still a great idea though.
Wow!Crazy jealous of your setup! Definite life goal for me to have a sweet ass kitted out Jeep Gladiator with all the gadgets and goodies :D P.S. I've never caught a youtube video right as it dropped! Im glad it happened here. Love the channel, love the content, I appreciate all you do for us Dave! Thank you!
I have this setup, i ditched the square tarp and went with a hexagon shape. 2 suction cups, one for each side window. I prefer the additional coverage that i get.
Thanks for the video Dave, and a really cool piece of kit. I had a question are you still in touch with Cody at all? Would be awesome if yall did a vid again!
I'm starting to think David will be the last survivor on earth. His final adversary, Goliath, will also be of no challenge for him. God bless you & your family brother. Thanks for putting out all the informative content over the years
It be worth mentioning when you get into the hammock, the tarp looses a lot of its tautness and gets pretty loose. If it’s raining and pretty windy you’re in trouble
The more you relay on equipment the weaker you are. What I really like in David is that all he performs is simple. And simplicity make survival more efficient. Keep on going David. Enjoy your approach since vids on Discovery Channel. Best regards from Russia.
You should know that the “ kit” includes only the 2 black poles and the tarp. The rest - the silver extension pole, the suction attachment, and the pole bag are optional and extra. 😒

Much respect from Inglewood CA Dave🙏🙏🙏
Seems like a excellent system! Especially if your at a festival or gathering!

Have the same setup, and I mounted on my Ural sidecar well worth having. Now, I'm making a complete tent set up for the Ural.
Ótimo vídeo Dave, abraço aqui do Brasil. 👍👍👍

When do we get the video on how to sleep on the ground next to the vehicle when a grandkid commandeers your hammock?

Awesome video, thanks for making it. Happy travel

Very cool! Dave are you using an 11 foot hammock with that setup?
Thanks Dave
Super cool!
Excellent thanks
Looks GOOD !
A nice shelter to operate Parks On The Air 😊
Do they sell the suction cup seperately? That could be VERY useful just by itself for rigging off any vehicle.
Cool stuff!
Which hammock is that?
Nice condo under there and able to work by the truck
Very cool! Thank you!
Looks like a good system do you have links to it?
Is this only compatible with Jeep?

It’s awesome if to have money lol I wish I had something like that
Nice but I just sleep in a cot next to the vehicle with a tarp on the side or rear. Have fun stay safe.
