    The difference is the rules. My issue with this league is their is no back pressure to start, so flash pins are king. That is why Pushkar was so dominant. It wasn't really about strength, but moreso pure speed. That is a major advantage to younger guys.
    Starting in a stable but tight pressured set up is much better and more of a show of who is the stronger/smarter arm wrestler.

      What you are saying is true, but European starts are a terrible armwrestling style. Flash pins don't really prove anything. Pushkar was great at it, but what happened when he faced Larratt with a little bit of back-pressure? Ah...the real technique comes out. So yes, its a different style for John, but there's still no debating that he was the better armwrestler here.

    • @Aex89
      @Aex89 9 месяцев назад

      If anything john shouldn't have gotten those two wins, you're right the match was unfair , for Vasily. • @Armazi1987
    @Armazi1987 2 месяца назад

    Georgians are naturally strong people. Today, the best is Levan Saginashvili, who defeated Larratt without giving him a chance. In weightlifting, 10-15 years ago, they had no support or opportunities to train professionally. Even Vasil trained with self-made equipment, and what he has achieved is a great result. When you're working for $250 a month, it's hard to stay motivated in a sport that doesn't bring financial support. Vasil could have achieved even more, but as I mentioned, 10-15 years ago, there was almost no money in this sport in Georgia.
