So Breznk hooks Pushkar, then top rolls him out of the hook, then hooks him back into a press to finish. That match demonstrates exactly why he's the GOAT.
@Серёга Сижук but so was Mike Tyson when he won the heavyweight championship of the world. If you're a grown man in a grown man's sport, you're gonna be judged on what you do or do not do
@Серёга Сижук he was still zloty tur champ in 2005. You’re making it seem like he was weak or something just because of his age. Pushkar was world class at this point already, but imo John was close to his strongest in 2006 when he beat him here.
That's a big John there, and Travis looks bulked up too. Brzenk put on a master class of reversals and transitioning vs a legend in his own right. Great footage.
Bagents timing is unbelievable. He hits at exactly 0.1 seconds before the ref says go so he doesn’t feel like he should call a fault start and the opponents been left in the dust before he realises
Yeah I don’t get that because they even looked at the cameras and still didn’t call it. But he would’ve lost the rest of that category. They were just too much weight and size.
Its in the rules that if the arm never loses contact with the elbow pad it doesnt count as a foul. I cannot recall the rule perfectly but Uncle Jon goes over it on his channel when he talks about a controversial match if you want to see
Interesting adjustment by Bagent. He put his thumb under his middle finger instead of his index finger on the second try. First try 3:33. Second try 4:00.
Absolutely awesome video bro!!! PHENOMENAL stuff THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN MY FRIEND!!! 🙏💪 watching USA kick ass!!! And John dominating with such precision and strength!!! A thing of beauty is a joy 4 ever sir!!! 👀😳💪
John looks huge. His hand and especially his thumb is gigantic compared to his opponents. As many others have said it numerous times, John looks deceptively small as in reality his features are super-heavy weight class.
Bro John was def at his biggest here. He looks massive! That was an amazing match with him and Pushkar < RIP 🙏. when he rolled his hand and shoulder pressed 👀 WOW!!!
Hahaha ohhh man that was a classic look from John at the end! like "see what I just did there children, that's 3 moves in one kiddies" I wish this John could face today's devon or even Levan, Ohh what a war!
Damn Gary awesome footage ! Hands down the last 2 matches of John & Travis crushing it, had my Blood Pressure skyrocket breaking out a damn sweat ! #ArmTV
Man Travis was strong. I’m pretty sure on Neils podcast I heard Richard Lupkes say that Pushkar was the strongest thing he ever felt. I’m not sure what match he was referring to but I believe he said he had nothing for him and Pushkar went right through him. Anyway what an awesome Tournament and video. Thanks Gary.
Brzenk said Pushkar was the strongest he could recall feeling along wiht Voevoda and Cyplenkov; Lupkes is on video saying Devon Larratt at his peak was the strongest Lupkes ever felt.
@@StephenDoty84when you watch all the matches said above arm-wrestle, it is somewhat close. They all are within 10-15 percent of each other in there primes imo. Denis left, and levans right are just a little bit better though. I don’t think much further then people realize though, a small percentage gap makes a huge difference
@@zablogful HRT only gets you up to what is considered normal at that age, up to 10% over. Drs would lose their license if the tests consistantly come back way too high. HRT is for old people to have motivation again, and is still only half of the testosterone that a 25 year old produces naturally.
I love it but what's funny is Neil said his arm must be absolutely destroyed yet I didn't even see him make a straining face . I've said it a thousand times John Brzenk is THE MAN.
4:40 - Oh, I thought he said "and he's in porn". 6:32 - Hutchings is like "don't fuck me over" =_= OH he does get fucked over. The other guy comes off the front of the pad AND the back of the pad. 11:30 - Can-opener into a press. Very cool indeed. John is a big dude! (at least this year) lots of muscle. Strange how we don't really think of him as being very big, but he's always pretty big, even though it's of course relative. His hand is big either way, though. Travis did great. He really walks that line on every start to the match lol. If the opponent wants to counter him on time, they need to take a pretty big risk with getting a foul.
6:20 This gotta be the shittiest referees since the existence of armwrestling. They cannot even recognize an obvious foul when they review the video footage. Of course the european refs were gonna screw the american. Not the first time that I see that.
Ha! True, you see as much of the announcer as you do the pullers. By the way, the announcer is Neil Pickup, who is probably the greatest British armwrestler ever.
Travis can be a jackass, but I rate him higher than most people. I think he may have been the best armwrestler in the middle of the 2000's (2005?) and he's one of the best left handed ever. Not to mention that he's damn good with his right also. He wouldn't make my top 5 or maybe even top 10, but he's one of the best
John the GOAT beat all these Russian monsters with his amazing technique, mental competitive superiority, ability to adapt, and natural ability. Lets not forget he was also strong as F.
So Breznk hooks Pushkar, then top rolls him out of the hook, then hooks him back into a press to finish. That match demonstrates exactly why he's the GOAT.

When John looked at the camera after the pin that was awesome 👉💪👈
The legend
John got great techniques
what a beasty version of John
That's a big John there, and Travis looks bulked up too. Brzenk put on a master class of reversals and transitioning vs a legend in his own right. Great footage.
Cmon pushkar had nothing left at that stage
Yeah it was good stuff brotha I enjoyed video John is friggin awesome to watch man I love it!!!💪
Yes, John transitioned better than Rupaul.
I miss Travis Bagent and Andre Pushkar. I like their style.
Bagents timing is unbelievable. He hits at exactly 0.1 seconds before the ref says go so he doesn’t feel like he should call a fault start and the opponents been left in the dust before he realises
That's why Travis was the ultimate tournament player. Flashing everyone till he makes the finals with a fresh arm.
Dammmmmn Gary, this is so cool. Pushkar was so awesome. Travis is a Beast!!! And Neil is perfect. Love it
John beat Semerenko 3 times all in a hook? I remember watching this 15 years ago and it might be cooler now. You’re the man
I was just watching that match again... lol John went full beast, great matches but what a draw he had....he opened hard.
They seriously called that a win in that Hutchings match? Hella got robbed. That dudes elbow was a mile off the pad.
Yeah I don’t get that because they even looked at the cameras and still didn’t call it. But he would’ve lost the rest of that category. They were just too much weight and size.

@@MaineArmWrestlerSHW Yeah but his elbow was off before the pin was called. so it shoudlve been a foul
Joghn in the green light looked like hulk
Breznk is a master of his craft . His ability to transition from a hook to top roll to press with such ease and fluidity is most impressive .
It’s amazing!
Interesting adjustment by Bagent. He put his thumb under his middle finger instead of his index finger on the second try.
First try 3:33. Second try 4:00.
he was always a good technician

That last match was FIRE!! John is amazing and Neil was on!
Awesome video! John doing GOATlike things 💪🏼💪🏼 how impressive vs Pushkar. World class arm wrestling
Bagent always looking like he is false-starting, even in slow motion
Semerenko was so intense, he almost passed out on various occasions. Respect
It seems that John had a lot of discomfort in his shoulder.
he did...and a painful elbow.. he had to have surgery on the shoulder a few yrs later
Badass Brzenk here! 💪
One of the better versions of John 💪
The next four years was his best. He won the overalls each of those years
Wow! What amazing footage!!! Epic history! Gary, another Truly Great Ambassador of Armwrestling!! The sport is lucky to have you!!
Thanks man!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
John looks huge. His hand and especially his thumb is gigantic compared to his opponents. As many others have said it numerous times, John looks deceptively small as in reality his features are super-heavy weight class.
this was probably the biggest he had ever been..he looked much lighter while beating giants most of the time
John looked huge! made pushkar look small. sad about that hutchings match though. wtf was that
It's always so nice to see Hutchings, Travis and Brzenk. Real class trio
Yes, they should sing Christmas carols some time, a nice 'trio', as you said.
John was so ahead of the rest of the competition back then it's amazing
Great announcer when he brought out john that was legendary
Unicorns don't exist, but this legend does. Zeke odima is real.
Bro John was def at his biggest here. He looks massive! That was an amazing match with him and Pushkar < RIP 🙏. when he rolled his hand and shoulder pressed 👀 WOW!!!
I was thinking the same. Beautiful move and transition. World class from the legend
John Brzenk with Braces is freaking crazy strong. I think Braces have been outlawed since.
Showing everyone he could've toprolled, yet went for the press to show his power 💪
He has the proportions of The Hulk. Massive body and massive hands. No one else has both of those except John in this form from 2005.
I’d like to compare his 2009 vegas match against Denis compared to this. I think that was the biggest he’s ever been
Amazing to me is the progression of Neil's announcing from 2005 to today. Very good then. Best in the business for a reason today.
GREAT comment
Wow. Never seen some one take a all time greats hand like that... Just wrenched it
open like a bottle opener.
Bust it wide open Jonny boy!
IMO Pushkar at that time wasn't near his prime and probably wasn't considered an all time great lol.. nowadays though is a different story. Rip
John allowing Travis to win so he can go on was awesome to see.
Yeah, look like John right shoulder was injury
This was freakin great! Thanks, Gary!🍻🍻
John bent that wrest back and boom!!
Wow John looked freaky big there.
That's it, that's all your showing. Damn you Gary U SOB. Great vid can't wait for the next.
even kid Pushkar was super strong !!!

They had a supermatch and pushkar won 6-0
pushkar was pretty young on this vid, he peaked like 9-10 years later
Travis wins a lot of his matches by false start, if u see the win against pushkar the judge is still with his hand on them

Changing hook into top row in side press position, the 8th wonder of Armwrestling .
dude,john was big!
He was on that Overeem Horse beef. LOL. just jokes
This was after 2004, after the year this very same small Pushkar made the prime Voevoda shake
Great footage ,thanks for the video 👍
4:14 Vintage Bagent. Great win. Why he's a legend from the go. Vovoeda and Pushkar fell to that move. Who else can say that?
John Brzenk at his prime was a thing of beauty. Damn!
Anyone know why John just gave Travis a win there? He was trying to not smile
11:42 😮 A hook to a top roll follower by a press Brzenk is insane
Amazing footage, what a line up!!!
Beastmode John!
I imagine strangers who tried a bar fight with Pushkar had a change of heart and bought him a drink. Scary dude.
What was the final and who won? I can't recall a Bagent - Brzenk finals
This is pure gold.
I kept replaying the video in those last minutes
Gold content thank u
