When I was playing Final Remix, on week 3, Beat talks about what him and Rhyme were like in the RG before going to the UG. Beat gets super emotional, and this played in the back. It was such a beautiful fit for that scene.

Personally, I think that the remix personifies the song better. When you get to the heart about it, this song is about a girl who is going through times of confusion, as we all had, "wanting to laugh and cry at once". She needs someone else to "hold her tight", and wants an explanation of "justice", a topic so abstract that how can one really expect a concrete definition? And all in all, I think the slower ballad captures this better than a rock song, although both have their merit.

I just finished DDD, yeah the TWEWY moments were nice. They were in place of the Final Fantasy characters, which were also some of the best parts about the previous KH games. I'll also add that the ending section of every KH game is also the best part about the game. DDD's ending section was nice. A bunch of cool bosses back to back.
TWEWY is so damn good man. If you haven't treated yourself to that masterpiece yet, PLEASE do. Its everything I love about gaming condensed into one of the most poignant things I've ever played. Beat DDD for the first time a couple of days ago, and I gotta say, the moment I saw Neku appear in the game I knew it was gonna be something special. The TWEWY stuff became my main motivation to play from that point, it brought a huge smile to my face because of how much I love the series (well it was actually that, flowmotion and the world design that made me keep going but yeah). Gotta say though, think I genuinely like this version more than the NEO one. It's just so... calming.
I love how they used this also in The World Ends With You: Solo Remix. It was nice to have two sad songs to change with instead of one. Kingdom Hearts soundtracks are the best and well thought out (:
The song itself is amazing, and the lyrics match much more to this beat. Comparing it to the original would be viewing two different approaches, but the words just have so much meaning. Their deep, yet easy to understand and compare to real life. One of the many blessings of music meets lyrics, we can feel the emotion the singer gives.

I for whatever reason had higher expectations like seeing the Reapers helping Xemnes or something. I still enjoyed whatever screen time they had. Now to see them in HD on PS4 will be interesting.

It's possible, but unlikely. We're going to be stuck with the losers from FF XIII. Plus Radiant Gardens has become a staple hub world for the series, but if they did add a Twewy hub world, I would love Squeenix forever. For now, all we get is Neku's favorite wall art in Traverse Town.

She's very beautiful, she was never in a situation where she was overpowered, even bringing down hoards of armed soldiers with nothing but a sword and brute strength, and when she started showing love towards Hope I just couldn't find myself hating her. Snow - How was Snow a douche? Hope's mother dying wasn't even his fault and he even tried to save her but she let herself die to prevent snow from falling with her and Snow even tried to take responsibility for what happened to Hope and his mother before Hope's Father. Plus, if you ask me, Snow was 1 of the characters that kept the game interesting, there was only 1 time he fell to pieces which was when he found out the truth from Dyseley and even then he bounced back from it after some time. I'm sorry but I don't see how he was a douche, pretty much everything he did was to help the people he loved and cared for. Hope - What exactly do you mean by "forced"? People often complain that Hope was too far down in the dumbs but let's look at this reasonably. His own mother died and not long after he became the enemy of the entire planet he was on. For a person his age, that's bound to leave him emotionally destroyed. He didn't even stay that way forever, when they reached Gran Pulse and he started to realize the support he had from his friends, he actually started to cheer up and become more likeable. If you do not think the characters are awesome then no problem, that's your opinion, but I personally thought they were great.

Agreed.I felt that Neku and the gang could have had their stories expanded a little bit more. The subject of the Reaper's Game was brought up a few times, but there were no Reapers to be seen, and there was little explanation of the Game. If they had whisked Sora and Riku into the Game and had them go through a mission or two, I could imagine people who haven't played TWEWY having a better understanding as to how the Game works and therefore more would want to go out and play the original game.

This remix was probably planned when they decided to incorporate the Players from TWEWY into the 3DS version Kingdom Hearts, so it's unlikely that this would have been in the DS version of TWEWY since it came out way before Kingdom Hearts did in the 3DS. Looking back I honestly feel like they should have remixed this song to be a battle song like in the original game. Seriously the boss rush in traverse town would have been a lot better with the someday battle music playing in the background
It stems from a need that kids feel. As if they need to be like teh adults. meanwhile, the adults have actually matured and have branched out, they are grown up, and do not feel embarrassed over something as trivial as a movie or game rating. My favorite book is the Hobbit, my favorite games aren't all M, most of them are around E or E10, some of my favorite movies don't break the PG barrier.
I wish that Traverse Town had taken the Twewy idea, and made it so you hear multiple songs constantly playing throughout the world, even during cutscenes.
Gosh, will you all stop complaining? I honestly really like this one. In fact, it's one of my very, very favorite songs. I admire this song because the Engrish is so good it almost sounds like it's English, it has this dreamy, kind of far-off feeling for a romantic touch, and the vocals are beautiful. Especially the part when she sings and there's only 2 acoustic guitars playing, and the pedal steel guitar. Just plain beautiful. So, if you think that this; "ruined the song forever", it didn't.
It could be a love song in my eyes, platonic and/or romantic. Either way, it's someone who's looking at another person dear to them and clinging to them while facing the uncertainty of the future. They have a history with the person, know of their insecurities and faults, etc. It's the kind of love song you'd sing to your best friend, I think. None of the frilly, poetic things you'd sing to someone you don't know well to win them over, but a song of complete honesty and vulnerability to someone you know you can be open with.

Agreed.I felt that Neku and the gang could have had their stories expanded a little bit more. The subject of the Reaper's Game was brought up a few times, but there were no Reapers to be seen, and there was little explanation of the Game. If they had whisked Sora and Riku into the Game and had them go through a mission or two, I could imagine people who haven't played TWEWY having a better understanding as to how the Game works and therefore more would want to go out and play the original game.

I was playing TWEWY solo remix on my android. This song is also in that game!!! If square enix take the time to put that song in TWEWY, maybe, just maybe, they are aware people really love that game and want a sequel...!

This remix was probably planned when they decided to incorporate the Players from TWEWY into the 3DS version Kingdom Hearts, so it's unlikely that this would have been in the DS version of TWEWY since it came out way before Kingdom Hearts did in the 3DS.
(A sequel is pretty likely though, in my opinion (since there was a teaser) :3 I hope it does come out)

You have to buy some of them 1,05$ tough... And some of the soundtrack you have to pay for are exclusive soundtrack for solo remix. I sometime play the game only so i can listen to them ^_^

Looking back I honestly feel like they should have remixed this song to be a battle song like in the original game.
Seriously the boss rush in traverse town would have been a lot better with the someday battle music playing in the background
It stems from a need that kids feel. As if they need to be like teh adults. meanwhile, the adults have actually matured and have branched out, they are grown up, and do not feel embarrassed over something as trivial as a movie or game rating.
My favorite book is the Hobbit, my favorite games aren't all M, most of them are around E or E10, some of my favorite movies don't break the PG barrier.

Gosh, will you all stop complaining? I honestly really like this one. In fact, it's one of my very, very favorite songs. I admire this song because the Engrish is so good it almost sounds like it's English, it has this dreamy, kind of far-off feeling for a romantic touch, and the vocals are beautiful. Especially the part when she sings and there's only 2 acoustic guitars playing, and the pedal steel guitar. Just plain beautiful.
So, if you think that this; "ruined the song forever", it didn't.

It could be a love song in my eyes, platonic and/or romantic. Either way, it's someone who's looking at another person dear to them and clinging to them while facing the uncertainty of the future. They have a history with the person, know of their insecurities and faults, etc. It's the kind of love song you'd sing to your best friend, I think. None of the frilly, poetic things you'd sing to someone you don't know well to win them over, but a song of complete honesty and vulnerability to someone you know you can be open with.
