Focusing on a lecture for about let's say, 3-4 or as per your potential, will increase your attention span, just wear your anti radiation glasses and just sit, study and relax, you ain't doing anything wrong.

    My max screen time was 14 hrs....and frm that day onwards I've decided to restrict my usage around 3 hrs per day and that was soo mind blowing...

    I'm not addicted to any social media app.. I left fb 3-4 years ago.. and use insta on chrome to stay away from reels Only thing I'm not able to get away is YT shorts.. I can't leave yt but i hate yt shorts and don't know how to get rid of it... All I tried failed

    I think best way to prevent mobile addiction is spending time with friends and family and talk to them on different topics where you are more open towards friends, this definitely helps our mind to stay away from phone, because many people are using phone to avoid loneliness

      @@ananda2918 orphan doesn't mean he is poor , there are approximately 1.86 lakh orphans and in them over 24,000 died from 2017-2019 due to depression and sucide . Mobile ediction is the main cause of Depression....and not that they don't have a family to talk with depression doubles with leads to sucide , use your brain while thinking before talking if u don't know and it seem u just wannabe famous by telling other persons way of thinking is wrong then ur in the wrong place .....bacche 🤦

    5:16 .When You talked about walking in tiles avoiding the gap , eating kitkat pieces by pieces and feeling anxious if not done so , are the primary symptoms of a condition called obsessive compulsion disorder( mainly known as OCD) . It is a condition where u want everything to be perfect and try to take control over things which you cannot control. The condition can be threatening if you start to overthink a lot . Lot of people have it and most of them even font know about it

      and I assume it's normal to that extent , I know about it ..and it's pretty normal for real.. the actual alarming scenarios are when u try a thing and if u fail over it.. you keep blaming yourself and worsen it.. cuz u just didn't get it right in the first go or else.. this is the point to know that u should actually be alarmed

      Same here , but I am television serial addictor I don't know how much I spent on my mobile to watch serial I think more then 3-4 hrs and also I myself extend the serial by watching promos and started to make whole episode of serial in my mind daily where I am unable to stop or avoid thinking by anyhow it comes in my mind. Can you pls help me pls

    If some apps are really distracting, uninstall them without even flinching. The more you think the more you don't wanna get rid of them. 2-3 days you're gonna adapt.

    Hey! Nice video.
    I just felt like sharing some of my experiences that have helped me as well.
    - Finding physical alternatives to social media - like pursuing a hobby (music, dance, cycling, sports, cooking, ...) - and spending time doing them when your brain feels the need to get a hit of dopamine (or just unwind).
    - Using a laptop instead of phone to access news, videos & social media. (Making access harder than that on phones, so you will use it sparingly).
    - Finding ways to socialize with like-minded people: As an adult, it becomes difficult to frequently converse in depth with other adults without having a common agenda. However, making the effort to maintain friendships with these people can be really helpful in maintaining mental sanity (if I may call it that).

    I liked your idea of logging out of social media apps every time. In my case, I uninstalled all social media apps like Insta, FB and even disabled YT and whenever I had to use them, I used them through BROWSER ONLY and also make sure that I never save the passwords or always log out. The experience on browser is so poor that it discouraged me from using the apps. So this trick made sure that I used social media only when I really felt like instead of mindlessly launching the apps and spending hours on them without realizing it.

    The logging out trick is effective very much I suppose bcoz even I did that thing on a further level... I straight away deleted the Instagram Daily and the next downloaded it again though coz of addiction I guess!!.. But after 3-4 days it became tiring and now I have broken the loop➰ and out of addiction now I stand with my Id disabled temporarily for 2 months coz I need to focus for CA exams!!!!🤓 Sadly I cannot watch your content too😅💖

I was struggling through this phone addiction problem and your suggested trick i.e. to make handmade calender and record my daily activity by tick and cross really worked!     Saw ur video in recommendation. Sharing personal experience is far better than saying random points to control addiction. I don't face these issues since I m outdated person who don't use whatsapp itself, yet use Android phone for RUclips sake. Well, I use my phone max 3 hrs coz my subscription is limited and watch only what I want, and don't bump into everything. I found this video useful. Thanks Drishti, and you are cute 😊 All the Best 👍

    Some suggestions for students.
    Set a leghthy password in social media aps
    Remove them from main screen
    Set time limit
    Use focus to do app' restrict mode
    It will block them while studying
    Choos the path of spirituality succes focus not distraction

    I'm adding very important point
    If you want to limit ur phone addition you can switch focus mode in your Phone... again usme bhi aap exit kr skte hai...but there is an option of intense focus mode jisme you have to set a time for focusing let's say 50 minutes...and if intense focus mode is on you can't do anything in your phone except emergency calls
    Hope this would help ❤️

      Ussi me settings Hogi
      Then on the option of intense focus mode
      Wahan pe exception bhi hote h
      Bas select kro Aur wo Start kro

    Thankyou sm for the experience but i really wanna know that just like you'ar a content creator, I'm a full time student who's preparing for NEET and i have to watch lectures and have so many works from my phone too but I'm unable to concentrate on those lectures and get distracted easily even if i put screen time boundaries and stuff please tell me smthg abt this too😭

    But entertainment days are 8-10hrs
