    5:54 As a honest subscriber, with due respect I would like to say that even watching too much self improvement and productivity based content or ideas suggesting study techniques can be really bad. If you fall in this loop, you're constantly looking for a rush that you derive from watching such content. Further you start having a false hope that you're watching content for your betterment only and considering it good. I think you're consistency on RUclips is near perfect. That gives us ample time to try out the solutions you suggest. So thank you for that .

      That is absolutely true! That's one of the reasons I take extended breaks from my channel as I don't want to push these kind of impractical videos too often. I try giving homework and summary so that there's some takeaway. Plus planning to bring in more practical breakdown videos instead of just speaking about self-improvement! So yeah that's about it

      @@ayushjotwani What you said is indeed true! I was stuck in that loop some time ago, where I used to just consume self-improvement stuffs and would never take real action.. This is why I've set a limit to watching these stuffs as well. It makes you feel like you're bettering yourself in some way but reality speaks otherwise.

    Jitna bhi video dekhlo kuch nahi hota agar khud ke andhar kuch karne ka aaag laga hai toh tum kuch bhi kar sakte ho just delete all social media accounts if you are addicted to youtube then just go to seting and search digital welbing and set the limit of watching iam sure that you will be free from this addict thank you for like❤

    i would like to share my experience, people would call me a liar but yeah my screen time is legit 10 mins a day and I'm a student.... and literally my life is way better than earlier and I really love the decision of completely cutting of social media...

    I loved the idea of JOMO and I am implementing it and it really improved my life as I am a huge consumer of RUclips videos and experience FOMO, as a result my watch later is filled with too many videos, but now it's not the same anymore. Now I enjoy experiencing JOMO.

    My current screen time - 1 hr 30min + 1hr laptop + tv
    Didi everything single thing you mention is so true and fr happening with me , i am so addictive to fanfics and yt shorts knowing i have a lot to study , I have done so many things to decrease this and start getting productive but i just can't
    But let's not stuck in that guilt and stay like that , let's keep faith and believe in ourselves that we can do this !!!!!!

    My phone screen time is 5-6 hrs a day on average and I mostly watch informative videos but this is also making me feel that I'm doing nothing in my life.

    My screen time is about 5-6 hours, which is pathetic. I don't use any social media platforms except RUclips (my RUclips screen time is 3-4 hours). RUclips alone is enough for me to waste my time and make me more and more lazy. I'm living away from home to prepare for a government job, but these habits are constantly stopping me. Not just this habit, but me.........

    Thanks for this marvelous video. Currently, I have a screen time of around 5 hours and want to reduce it as I am now gonna join college... It is a new journey and I want it to become the best for me.. and obviously phone addiction will make it worse... I always used to follow the first point which is HACK THE ALGORITHM... Now, I loved the other three tips as well... and for sure I will make my phone so dumb that no one would like to use it , not even me :) .... Thanks for this video once again

    I don't use Fb and Insta.
    I use only youtube. And to overcome youtube addiction I already use some of tips you shared like not interested, dont recommend this channel, and also make 3 accounts. For learning but after all of these tips I am not able 😢 to learn new skill. Now what i can do.

    I used to watch insta reels then deactivated account ... Then moved toward youtube reels . The update expired .. I thanked Almighty for it but now i am stuck at facebook reels where my feed is full of one shot movie explanation or young sheldon . I got new tablet and started my youtube career again . My screen time is approximately 5 hours a day (i am still a student, phone not allowed to school and i personally hate using it ) ... Thank you so much ma'am . I hope everyone who wants to break this addiction may success in it :)

    My avg screen time is 11 to 12 hours because i do my online coaching with my phones but i also use my phone for entertainment purpose and some times i overuse youtube so this video is very helpful for me

    I learned a lot about these topics from Matt D'Avella, and I've been inspired to create similar content in the future. However, your videos are already doing a great job of guiding our awakened youth in the right direction.
    Additionally, I've found one more helpful strategy: I invested in a minimalist UI for my phone, which has been one of my best decisions so far. It replaces fancy icons with straightforward text in a black-and-white list view and has a few other cool features to help me stay focused.

    Actually I dont use Instagram but I am addicted to youtube and as youtube has an option of disable , I usually disable it whenever I want to scroll I just enable it from settings 😔

    One more recommendation from me:
    You can turn on the the Restrcited mode in yt as it turns 📴 comments so after watching the video you would go and do your work rather than reading and responding to other people comments.
    If you want to comment or see if video is useful or not you can always turn it on.
    Turning the comment section off 📴 also helps in not influencing your view about that video, like sometimes it happens we don't like the video but after reading so many positive comments about the same we feel yeah it's not that bad.

    My avg screen time is between 6-7 hours,in which RUclips has been used for the max time😢Ig ka addiction nahi ab RUclips ka addiction ho gaya h 🥲 although I watch educational content but I am just watching these videos consuming the content nd not practically implementing the things I learnt in those vids.       That's too much information for your brain to handle. You really need to stop consuming and start creating. I guess you need to make yourself understand that you are the only one responsible for not taking any action.

      You are consuming more information because your brain thinks that it is getting more intelligent by consuming more, as thats what all these influencers are promoting because thats hoe they get views and money!! But you need to understand that , just consuming amd not implementing is nothing but just a form of knowledge consumerism!!! You are not taking any Action but just convincing your brain that I have consumed the information and that means i have done good work!! Your brain will just keep consuming more n more even though its good content but its of no use as there is no action taken! So solution is just consume only one video regarding a particular topic amd dont see multiple videos regarding same topic!

    Hii drishti few months ago i found ur channel in my feed and ur only one video forced me to subscribe ur channel..now i just sit down with my books and try to concentrate on studies bt it doesn't work with my expectation so i thought to see any video and ur video comes first and i just sincerely listen ur all talks and try to find out what i hv to do to cut off my social media time...and u know what after seeing ur many videos i really do unsubscribe many channels unfollow many insta accounts.
