19:20 Tom Sizemore playing the undercover DEA Agent Deets. 26:00 This skydiver sequence bring me memories from Wesley Snipes' _Drop Zone_ from 1994. It could be said that _Drop Zone_ was the film to rival against _Break Point_ in the industry. Jay, sooner or later you'll need to react to _White Men Can't Jump_ from 1992 with Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, and Rosie Perez, it is the '90s vibes movie just like _Point Break_ .
Nice, thanks! One day I'll do White Men Can't Jump. I did see it back in the early 90s, but I was too young to understand it. However, Rosie Perez kickstarted my love for Latinas from that movie. The only scene I remember was the money jar Hahaha
Superb, Jay. You are the reason I have hope for the "bigger" reactors. Once you get the recognition, which you deserve immensely, for watching these gems, you should be commended daily. "Point Break"...Nice! I like how you do movies no one else does, like "Valley Girl" Like to recommend a very under the radar Nicolas Cage movie called "Matchstick Men". And also like to recommend the best movie no one's seen called "Rob Roy". Unfortunately overlooked because it was released just month apart from "Braveheart. And like Braveheart, Rob Roy is also about a factual person from Scottish history (Rob Roy MacGreggor). Stars Liam Neeson in the title role, and co-stars Jessica Lang, and Tim Roth (in his only Oscar nominated role that I know of). Great Movie!
This one has been remade twice, basically. The second one was the official remake released a few years ago (don't recommend). The first one was an unofficial ripoff called The Fast and the Furious.
Cool bro. They remade this movie in 2001 but changed some details from surfing to street racing. From robbing banks to robbing trucks. From 'Point Break' to 'The Fast And The Furious'. Same story beats though, same twists and turns and same ending. Someone should do a side by side comparison of both movies to see just how identical they actually are
@@JayBondReacts It's as if the writers of The Fast And The Furious had the script for Point Break and changed the setting and the character names to keep it 'fresh'
I have a Jonny Utah Ohio State football jersey. This movie shifted my whole outlook on life, opened me up to others, because I had no sense that my own thinking at the time was so well understood in the wider public. (I wish it had stayed that way.)
"I mean, I wouldn't have taken this role, personally..." haha that's my favorite part of this reaction. 🤣 Love your channel. It's fun watching these sweet flicks with you 🎥👍
I have loved this movie since I was in middle school. I used to surf, skate, ride dirt bikes, etc., so me and my friends really identified with the Ex-presidents. Because we were crazy kids, always looking for the adrenaline rush like them.
Keanu, Patrick, Gary, and Lori had this magical bizarre chemistry together. And the Keanu/Patrick frenemie bromance was AMAZING. The movie just worked. Another favourite movie is The Secret of my Success from 87 with Michael J Fox. Business movie mixed with Michael's humor. So much fun to watch with an awesome soundtrack. Has never been reacted to - but would love you to check it out.

Beach football is a great workout. When I was a semi-pro football coach in San Diego we would take the guys out to the beach for workouts and practice once a week. It was great.
Keanu goes hard core for a role; pretty sure he legit learned how to surf for this and got weapons training for John Wick… dont know if he actually travelled thru time for Bill & Ted though 🤔
For Bill and Ted him and Alex would go to Southern California Beaches and learn all the different Surfer and Valley Dialects and not only learn how TO talk for Bill and Ted, but also how NOT to talk for Bill and Ted as there are certain words in Valley Speech that they will NOT use, in fact there is an old Website dedicated to how they talk and what words they do and do not use and how to dress like them.

I like that you say you watch what others don‘t and preferably 80‘s/90‘s movies, because there were many good ones back in those days! I see you already watched Roadhouse and Dirty Dancing in addition to this one, now you need to see another Swayze one called „Ghost“ featuring Whoopi Goldberg. Two lesser known, harder to find yet also very good ones starring Patrick are City of Joy (1992, look for the restored Blu Ray version for better picture quality), and Letters From A Killer.
Swayzes mom I think was a dance teacher and Patrick played football messed up his knees. In dirty dancing he struggled on the catch or jumping off the stage.

He clearly had to take off his mask for the emotionality of the scene. They most likely knew this, or even tried a take with the mask on, and noticed that it was very weird. It's a film for viewers first and foremost, so logic only applies when needed, haha.

Lots of shark species and squid hunt at night in the waters of the California Channel Islands and the Gulf of California, lots more now than then. Not sure I'd ever night swim if there's any risk of Humboldt Squid.
No BS here.. the actor Vincent Klyn who played "Warchild" in Point Blank and one of my Uncles, were friends "back in the day" in Hawaii when they were teens.. they use to surf together and of course, would harass and bully the tourist vacationers for fun.. representing and living up the whole "Local's Only" stigma..

@@JayBondReacts Awesome it was one of my mom’s favorites movies and I haven’t seen it since she passed and it’d be fun watching someone watch and enjoy it… btw love the channel keep up the GREAT work!!
@@darkwingdunk2804 Thank you! Im very scatter brained when picking stuff to watch but it should happen. 😂 Appreciate the support.
I love that you love Lori. Me too man. Forever. Really fun reaction.
Nice! Thank you. There's just something about Lori and how just genuinely cool she is? She's been doing the convention circuit lately so hoping to finally meet her.
@@JayBondReacts She's a southern-born preacher's daughter who somehow grew up to become Tank Girl. What's not to love? Ever see her on the 21 Jump Street spinoff Booker? Hawt.
I’m loving your reviews, still can’t believe you haven’t seen some of these movies though.Have you seen under siege with Steven Seagal and Gary Busey I ? I highly recommend it.Also Speed with Keanu.
Also Weekend at Bernie’s is a fun movie, and Class if you’re looking for some more eighties movies.
Overall I’m really enjoying your channel and have been subscribed from the beginning ,
Weekend At Bernie's 💪🏾
He clearly had to take off his mask for the emotionality of the scene. They most likely knew this, or even tried a take with the mask on, and noticed that it was very weird. It's a film for viewers first and foremost, so logic only applies when needed, haha.
movie recomendations - Flashback with Keifer Sutherland, Suicide Kings With Christopher Walken, Blast From The Past with Branden Fraser
Nice, thank you. Haven't seen any of those!
Before Point Break, Busey surfed in Big Wednesday.
If you want a more serious Keanu role you might like to check out The Rivers Edge or maybe something like the Matrix before the Matrix is Jonny Nmonic.
Jay my, man keep up the great commentary and jokes. Definitely do a reaction on a movie called the Flamingo Kid with Matt Dillon from the mid 80's. A classic beach movie!!!
the editing at 17:00 is so funny... I wonder what was said.
Haha It looks weird cause I was bobbing around uncomfortably but I didn't say anything else there. Just my words were spaced out. 😂 It looks awkward as all hell though. Haha
Lots of shark species and squid hunt at night in the waters of the California Channel Islands and the Gulf of California, lots more now than then. Not sure I'd ever night swim if there's any risk of Humboldt Squid.
My favorite Gary Busey movie is still Predator 2.
I love this movie!! ❤❤
If you want a hidden gem that nobody else is reacting to... Charlie Wilson's War
Great review I loved it! If you're in to bank robbery movies, you should also check out Set it off with Queen Latifah.
Here are five good movies with zero reactions (at least I am pretty sure about that).
Witness (1985)
Her Alibi (1989)
Regarding Henry (1991)
Throw Momma From the Train (1987)
US Marshals (1998, 2nd episode to The Fugitive)
it was a great movie eh ¿ thanks for the review .
Haha thanks!
Highly recommend A League Of Their Own for another great Lori Petty flick, starring opposite Tom Hanks and Geena Davis, also with Rosie ODonnell, Madonna, and others. A true story about the women’s professional baseball league during WWII. I’ve seen it dozens of times.
Omg. Your comment just reminded me of the old band, The Butthole Surfers. They had a great song called ‘Pepper’ back in the 90s. Check it out!
Have you seen Speed?
Thats another great Keanu flick…
Yup, used to love Speed! I was a huge Sandra Bullock fan for awhile.
You mentioned that you were a skateboarder. Why did you stop? I restarted a few years ago at 46. It's my happy place.
That's awesome! I'm not in the best shape and the people I skated with don't live around me anymore so it would be hard to get into again. I do miss it though and if I lost like 30lbs I'd probably give it another go.
@@JayBondReacts Maybe one day then, you never know. A lot of adults are getting back into it.
@@5hanesBoard We'll see! I recently found a few of my old skate videos (on VHS of course) and they're staring me in the face everyday. 😂 Super cool to hear you got back into it. There's hope yet.
@@JayBondReacts That's so cool that you kept your videos; I wish I had video evidence of skating in my youth; Unfortunately all I have to show from the early 90s is a few scars 🤣. It's easy to get the bug again; and muscle memory really helps.
Keanu is a long stride runner like Harrison Ford.
Go Utah!! Catch Reagan duuude!
Beware of pitfalls!
If the concept of undercover cops using extreme sports to infiltrate crime interests you, I direct you towards the short lived show Fastlane, from McG (director of the Lucy Liu Charlie's Angels). Particularly of note because Tiffany Amber Thiessen is the hot boss of the undercover unit 😉
Funniest reaction i've seen yet! "If I could just get close enough to see one of their buttholes....."! Your editor must have lost his mind! Damn funny!
Haha Thank you. My editor is me and I definitely chuckled at myself. 😂
You're NOT a surfer? Skate boarding, at it's inception, was called, "Sidewalk Surfin'".
Hahaha Fair play. 😂
