    Two facts you missed.
The Detroit Zoo snow globe actually didn't exist at the time when the movie was released, but it inspired the real Detroit Zoo to actually make and sell them.
"Beldam" is also an anagram of "Bad Mel", referencing that she's an evil version of Mel Jones.

    • @zim._hates_dib

@@zim._hates_dibThe snowglobe was made in the likeness of the Detroit Zoo. They can't claim the rights to the snowglobe like that.

Oregonian here with a slight correction: This video implies that Laika studios is located in Ashland, which is incorrect. Laika is located in Hillsboro, a suburb outside of Portland. Adder Stones are also known as Seer Stones. Ancient Hebrew religion and mythology refer to a pair of Seer Stones called Urim and Thummim attached to a breastplate used by Moses and the Hebrew High Priests he anointed and the generations of priests that follow after them for the purpose of Cleromancy (a form of Divination/Revelation through a process similar to casting lots/using randomizing devices like dice).

Having medical experience/knowledge, even if outdated, in Coralines modern timeline, is genuinely unnerving.
