@@joshuavids7779 She could have meant that she hears it during the party because she didn't hear Abuela worrying about the magic, which would have been when she was asleep.
Me and my cousins always talk about what they could do for an Encanto 2. We mostly agree on it being set after Abuela Alma’s death, and Mirabel is the new caretaker of the family. And I told them we shouldn’t retcon the very satisfying ending of Encanto. So I suggested that Dolores and Mariano are together and have their own kids, maybe Luisa has scheduled days she relaxes even if she’s a bit older (I’d say the film would take place either 5 or 10 years later, putting Dolores at 21, Isabela at 31, Luisa at 29. And the parents around their 60s.) and of course maybe it’s after Antonio learned to use his powers, as the last grandchild Abuela Alma taught, leaving it up to Mirabel to teach Dolores’ and (maybe) Isabela’s children to use their gifts. And the plot is just about Mirabel now trying to adjust to being the figurehead of the household like Abuela was, and teaching the new Madrigal children with the help of Agustin, Felix, Bruno, Julieta and Pepa.
I would like to point out that in the movie Dolores and Isabela are the same age being 21, Luisa is 19, Camilo and Mirabel are 15, and Antonio is (obviously) 5. So if the proposed sequel was set 5 or 10 years later, you would need to readjust the ages quite a bit. If Dolores’s age was a typo, pls ignore this
i honestly kinda did not understand anything other than Mirabel being in charge of the Casita and Abuela dying... are the things that i said even correct..?

How about the mini series and in the future a sequel. The only worry about the idea of a sequel is what the story would be. I have a few ideas of what I would do, but who would listen to a regular person like me?
One fun fact that was missed is that in We Don’t Talk About Bruno, at the very end - when everyone is dancing around admirable as she puts together the vision - Isabela is now singing “And I’m fine, I’m fine, I’ll be fine” instead of her earlier lines about her happy future. This, plus her facial expression as she sings it, is foreshadowing that Isabela is currently unhappy with her life.
To add for 22nd, since you mentioned Stephanie Beatriz playing the role of Rosa Diaz, she actually auditioned for the role of Amy Santiago first (one of the other main characters), but she didn't get it. She was actually down because she assumed they wouldn't hire two latinas to take on big roles in the show but they did! I found it cool that she did an incredible job for both roles even if that wasn't what she had in mind at first, also funny since somehow it happened twice. I also noticed that Isabela and Pepa are close to each other. 1. On The We Don't talk about Bruno part where they were fixing the dining table, Isabela and Pepa hugged and change direction or something. 2. The ''And There wasn't a cloud in the sky'' and ''Promised and someday be mine'' sounds close. 3. They do the same dance if you noticed. 4. They both wear kinda the same dress.

a little correction Julieta is pronounced as HOOL-YE-TA just like how you pronounce WHOLE but deeper and stiff. Because the sound that the letter "J" makes in Spanish is always "H" (credits to google for this: there is no H in Spanish or like silent ) just like how you pronounce "Y" as "E" (or much more of a stiff "E"). Hope you don't make the same mistake in the future
I think that the role of Gabriel Garcia Marquez should've been more emphasized with the parallels of Encanto. He was not just vital for the development of the "Boom Latinoamericano" but also had some strong parallels with his book "100 years of solitude". The idea of the supernatural quirks of the family doused in magical realism convey so strongly of the dozens of family members in the book. This was a missed golden opportunity to explore the nature of magical realism and it's home, Columbia.
Watch 13:04. This explains why Abuela Alma truly wants Mariano for her favorite and perfect granddaughter Isabela. Abuelo Pedro and Mariano really have a lot of similarities when it comes to their personality, not just in their physical features. Remember at the end of the movie, Dolores told Mariano that he writes poem at night and that he makes his grandmother proud? It was said in here that Abuelo Pedro was a writer who sat at his desk to write poems. What a nice movie. The contents are really connected and meaningful.
One of my favorite parts of Encanto was how it seemed for a lot of scenes to be emulating a live performance. I really hope they make a stage musical like they did w/ Frozen.
when people say mirabel is disney's first female latina protagonist they are talking about the 60 movies done by walt disney animation studios, NOT the shows
The people who designed the characters had to push to make Louisa look the way she does because apparently some of the higher-ups didn't want her to look super strong.

Even though it is a good movie, but does anyone kind of feel the plots in most of these recent animated films starting to feel repetitive and formulaic? I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I have a feeling we'll be in another slow decline in terms similar to the 1970s-1980s, and the early 2000s? Where the quality and finances would waver back and forth in terms of how well they're done in their initial release.
@@iammatt3174 It's Pixar, but Coco explicitly deals with it, too. @@BroAnarchy even the reboot is finally coming

That's music to my Kat ears
108: During "All of You", when Julieta and Augustín are rebuilding the butterfly kitchen wall, Augustín put his on upside down.
I have yet to see anyone else mention it, I'm a little worried I'm crazy
Fun fact: Julietas side dresses blue, Pepas dresses yellow (mostly) and those 2 mixed is green for Bruno.
Facts that you missed:
1. In Dolores solo in "we don't talk about bruno" bruno can be seen in the background
2. Mirabel has a symbol of all the family members on her dress not just some
3. Look at the final door. Dolores is the only one who is not smiling (Credit to film theory)
4. Bruno does some superstitious luck things like tossing salt over his shouldered
I totally called it that they want a spin off! They didn’t give us enough closure
i would LOVE to see a Encanto animated sit-com
Fun fact: The yellow butterfly means love/peace/hope. I guess it makes sense when Pedro and Alma both see it and I guess think it’s meant to be?
I love this movie! Thank you for making this list!
This is that simple! Be in the moment live in it; and move forward. Remember 3 things. Benefit of the Doubt, Pick Your battles, and Mind Your own Business.
Fun fact:the oldest cousin is isabela the second cousin is dolores the third cousin is luisa the fourth cousin is camilo the fifth cousin is mirabel and the last cousin is antonio
I spotted that in the song the family madrigal, as mirabel tells about a particular member of the family, the picture of them on wall highlightes out from rest. It can be clearly seen when see talks about pepa, bruno and Juliata power and also for dolores.
I love the perfect blend of realism, fantasy/magic, and genuine culture.
a little correction Julieta is pronounced as HOOL-YE-TA just like how you pronounce WHOLE but deeper and stiff. Because the sound that the letter "J" makes in Spanish is always "H" (credits to google for this: there is no H in Spanish or like silent ) just like how you pronounce "Y" as "E" (or much more of a stiff "E"). Hope you don't make the same mistake in the future
ChannelFrederator talking about Bruno is the biggest plot twist since Avengers: Endgame for Thor not going for the head.
Yeah , talking about me is the biggest plot twist ever ... Tap on the shoulder there ...
6:41 a bit of a correction. Though symbolically it can be true, the all white he wears is actually a traditional attire when celebrating big events.
Excellent list, as always, ChannelFrederator!! 🤗
I would love to see a Disney+ series on Encanto.
''We don't talk about Bruno'' sounds 100x times better than ''Let it Go''.
I still think it's a good song but I respect your opinion.
Surface Pressure is better
Let it Go is/was a good song. Especially so a decade ago, people only bash it because it was a bit too popular. I’m not saying it’s good tho.
“Let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let it gOOOOOOOOO”
-Bruno
Nah.
With Luisas room I wonder if that would've helped the Madrigal family in the movie because most theme parks attract families
2:48 the Bruno simps would have LOVED that lol
15:56 they should have included the joke because for me the film isn't complete. I am waiting for that joke in the credits
I really hope they make a stage musical like they did w/ Frozen.
when people say mirabel is disney's first female latina protagonist they are talking about the 60 movies done by walt disney animation studios, NOT the shows
I love this film it's so amazing and has brilliant songs and request if you can 107 facts about raya and the last dragon?
Mirabel’s gift is to make anyone start singing without questioning it
Bruno was dancing in the background of “We don’t talk about Bruno”
The people who designed the characters had to push to make Louisa look the way she does because apparently some of the higher-ups didn't want her to look super strong.
Any else notice that Dolores covers her ears when the fireworks go off because of her super hearing.
Thet Actually forgot a fact. Dolores broke the magic, not Mirabel!
Lets not forget the giant hypnotic eyes. After that weird study some years ago when they found that the bigger the eyes in animations, the more children pay attention
0:52 hah, heroine, Colombia, I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!
Mirabel isn’t the first female Latina protagonist, Sofia the First is (pun intended).
That’s a show though
I’ve heard We Don’t Talk About Bruno on the radio many times.
Another fun fact, and one which isn’t touched upon nearly enough with all the talk about diversity: Mirabel is the first Disney heroine with glasses.
Thanks, Channelfrederator
Channel Frederator I have been watching your past Diseny movie videos and you guys have talked about almost every movie except the one, the only, the underrated, the gem, the most awesome and possibly in my opinion the best Diseny movie ever! Can you please do 107 facts on Wreck It Ralph and 107 facts on Sonic X?
Even though it is a good movie, but does anyone kind of feel the plots in most of these recent animated films starting to feel repetitive and formulaic? I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I have a feeling we'll be in another slow decline in terms similar to the 1970s-1980s, and the early 2000s? Where the quality and finances would waver back and forth in terms of how well they're done in their initial release.
probably being another ''princess' --centric movie.
would love something like BH6 type variety.
What do you mean? I don't remember there being any other Disney movie that would be addressing generational trauma.
I don't get it. This movie looks more like ghibli studios than disney. Its unrelated to any other
@@tabaleao exactly I don't get the original commenters point either.
@@iammatt3174 It's Pixar, but Coco explicitly deals with it, too. Though I feel Coco handles it a little better because while it's vague, the movie gives a definite time limit for the healing to happen and puts the characters on a path where if things didn't play out the way they did would end horribly for the family.
17:00 We don't talk about Bruno But We sing about Bruno
This is facts I needed to know about
Awesome! Could you do 107 facts about the Wuzzles?
Totally forgot to add a fact that during the song, "We don't talk about Bruno" you can see Bruno secretly dancing in the dark in the background

Channel Frederator: Stephanie Beatriz got her miracle early!

Channel Frederator: says this fact at 14:36
Me: Ohh noo... A MIRACLE EARLY? HA HA HA HA! She got a miracle early!? But how?
Channel Frederator: says this fact at 14:40
Me: Ohp! And got...BIZAYY! So she DID get her miracle early! It looks like I've hit the jackpot! Oh, this is just too good!!!
Yeah I've seen it at least 4 times, and despite my native language is Spanish, I prefer it way more in English, mostly because I don't like the way they translated most of the songs, losing a big part of their actual meaning.
About the last fact, yeah I heard that Lin Manuel Miranda would like to make a series about Dolores. I wonder if they will.
I ❤️ this movie!
Yass you finnally made this video let's go
At 10:30 you can see Antonio in his warmer tones even though this was before his ceremony
I cannot give enough praise to Stephanie Beatriz for her role as Mirabel. She is an outstanding singer and actress.
You missed when everyone was cheering for Antonio for getting a gift, Dolores was clapping with her pointer fingers due to her gift. I don't know if that makes sense
I love Bruno he's an amazing character butWe don't talk about Bruno is the best song in the whole movie 🎶
Come on ... Is a sing that talks about me ... The real deal, the vision ... And yes, i make a special appearance in doctor strange and the multiverse of madness and loki ...
Knew this was coming Encanto is great movie with amazing movies also great video
Loved this movie.
