I got the yellow one few weeks ago. It's my first Tissot. I must say it's the most comfortable watch I own. Yes straps need some use to getting on but once on, they feel so great that I sometimes forget that I even have it on.

Thanks for going in depth on the movement as I had not heard another reviewer do that. I wasn't aware it was the one in the PRX and not the Gentleman, not that I saw a claim either way. I hadn't dug into it. Thanks for calling out the AR coating too. Nobody else had mentioned that. I absolutely love the blue one. I also appreciate that Tissot offers other strap colors not even offered on the watches as accessories, right out of the gate. Orange, Black, and Green in addition to the ones that come on the 3 watches shown. That's much better than the long wait for other options for the PRX. It makes sense and seems like easy money for brands to do that. Big Kudos to Tissot for this release and keeping it at $995.

Teddy enjoyed your thorough review. Picked the blue one up last week in Taipei. The weather has been so hot that it was perfect for that climate. Plus it’s so light on my wrist, it almost feels like you’re not wearing a watch. Love the lume on the blue Sideral !

I got the yellow and so far really enjoying it, love seeing 60s and 70s designs making a come back. The strap is very interesting and definitely comfortable but makes it a very very sporty watch I think you could dress it up if you wanted with a black PVD shark mesh and totally change the vibe food for thought :)

Definitely gives me summer holiday vibes. The color scheme and the overall aesthetics is not for me but there are people who can pull this off. It's always better to see a bold release rather than just another play-it-safe watch.
Hey Teddy, just picked up the "Blue", and find attaching the strap easier and faster than a "Tang" buckle. Literally, Snap one, and then the 2nd. And fit is amazing. Just my 2 cents.

Really cool, although at the end of the day, I get the fun Summer vibe from it too; and I'm trying to justify $1000 for something that would just be a splurge form something fun and cool looking. I find the word seasonal adapted for my watch journey. I just have watches that I prefer wearing the summer (my BB58 blue for instance), and watches that I prefer to wear during cold season with sleeves (my Big Eye for indtance).

Agreed wrt seasonal watches. Ppl can wear whatever they want whenever they want to of course, but as an example my BB GMT on leather strap has become an autumn and winter watch for me. My Pelagos on its blue rubber strap?…definitely summer. Others I wear more liberally no matter the time of year.

I have the blue... dropped in on the floor and it chipped a nice little chunk off the case near the lug..
Thinking of getting the black strap to fall and winter wear....
Looks great but hopefully they 1) have a longer strap to fit bigger wrists (something Tissot usually struggles with) and 2) have different strap color options as a sales point. The Red’s black dial would look great with many different strap colors!
They do have different strap colors, Tissot offers an orange, green and black strap @ $55.00.
They do have more strap options on the way, and I can confirm that the strap fits a 7.67-inch wrist comfortably with a decent amount of room left for a larger size.

I got one yesterday on Chrono 24 for an excellent price. Planning on ordering another band in a different color or two shortly.
I always check my work,then I double check it before putting it out.....I have the blue by the way..... it's funky and fun.

Tissot Sideral blue is an amazing watch which can be used as a working horse watch.
Bought myself the red one alone with the black strap and yellow strap. Perfect wear for the summer and I LOVE having the band options

I wanted to buy the red strap but when I saw the that the blue strap one had hints of blue in the carbon that made it unique to me from the others
There is something about this one. Saw the yellow in a shop and its stuck in the mind.
Looking for more colourfull cases, the original in Orange is the most sought after.

You're wrong, this looks like a great daily even if you own something more expensive. This is fun like a Moonswatch. If they ever sell used at a discount i'd be interested. $1000 USD is too high though, I can get a prebond with an 18kt bezel for that kind of money.

I really like it, particularly the yellow. The lume is wonderful. Thought the price was high for what it is as its in lesser watches within Tissot. Carbon is super cheap to use so that doesn't justify the price before I get called out.

I don't have an opinion on this watch in particular. The nitpicking just gets to me. For every person that hates the "T" second hand, there's another that appreciates the detail. At least the T has a purpose. It isn't as useless as a signed crown.

Fun watch but the dress-watch-sizing ruins it for me. I appreciate the use of costly carbon fiber but it makes the Sideral look like a plastic Swatch. I'll stick with my Certina DS Super PH500m on Tropic rubber.

Recent weeks have seen brands Tudor omega and now tissot launch watches which quite frankly are beyond quirky with ridiculous colours and ridiculous styles.

Good review. But you totally mispronounced the name of the watch.
A lot of things right with this watch, but still a few things I don't like. I've always hated the tacky "T" seconds hand. It's so gimmicky. Tissot, please stop doing that. Likewise, the over-branding with yet another "T" above "Tissot." Almost as bad as Grand Seiko. Secondly, the three o'clock crown with a date window screams "I'm a lazy Swiss watch design." Finally, the strap just looks cheesy and cheap. And the fact that it's hard to put another strap in it is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, it's nice to see a Swiss watch company try to do something that is not completely boring.
