    Tried all 3 on in the store and i must say they are all great in their own right but the yellow one is the absolute winner. Have to see it in person to fully appreciate it and it just suits the overall design and style of the watch. have mine now 2 weeks and it keeps getting better every time i wear it. worth every penny.

    This was my first Swiss watch, and I love it, the strap grew on me a lot, the more I put it on. I have the red Sideral, and I'm looking at getting the yellow strap to throw on occasionally. Fantastic movement, very acurate. No regrets whatsoever.

    Another great review with excellent lighting and camera work! Great to see Tissot (and Longines) getting back to making great watches again. I think they've done a fantastic product design job here. innovative, fun and cool. When you look at the quality, materials and design, I think it's pretty good value. I find it odd that sometimes we see a watch that we just don't like for some strange reasons but somehow over time we can warm towards it for other reasons that we cannot explain. When I first looked at the Longines BigEye years ago I just didn't like it, time passes and it's one of my favourites in my collection as I moved past the initial impression to what the use case watch was designed for, super readability of both time and chronograph and I find it's brilliant for that. Anyway this new Tissot is doing the same, my first impressions were pretty dismissive but it's started to grow on my and I would not be surprised if sometime in the future I would consider the blue model at some time in the future should I be able to justify it, Many thanks for sharing BB.

Not to mention the color is a nice add to a sophisticated collection that one might have. It is the perfect weekend watch IMO. Question though..... would it be possible to do a SHORT (video) of strap changes between the 3 models? I have already contacted tissot/swatch about ordering the yellow and red bands as they are natural color compliments for blue! Also i hear talk of a black/grey, green, and orange band. I've got the blue one on my list and think this is a very good value. I would not have been surprised if it was US$1200 or $1300 instead of US$995, though I admit I would be slightly less interested if that was the case. I think Tissot is using the advantage of their scale along with the Swatch group backing to give us features such as 300m WR, carbon case, the highly accurate (in my experience) Powermatic 80, quick release strap, and sapphire for that price. I love the blue in the carbon on the blue model, but wonder why a similar thing was not done with yellow and red on the others. Maybe there is a technical reason and somebody can explain it. Regardless, it's blue all the way for me and the fact that the dial lume is better seals the deal. I do have a friend who got the yellow recently. He said although the bezel lume was great, he felt the lume on the hands was a bit weak. He does love it anyway as the rest of the watch is great. Thanks for showing all 3 of these together.

    • @BraveBeaters
      @BraveBeaters  Год назад +3

      Thank you for the great assessment! You are very right in everything you said.
      I guess the red and yellow color pigments cannot be combined with the forged carbon layers. As for the lumed hands, it's true, they are weaker than the superluminova tone from the bezel.
      All the best, Andrei

    • @drbobsnightmare2521
      @drbobsnightmare2521 Год назад +3

      Print does not really stick to forged carbon very well, unless it's been textured specifically for that situation. That's the conclusion I've come to having owned a forged carbon Gshock. Also I spend way too much time on RUclips looking at watches; so I'm full of useless knowledge.

      @@yayayaokoksure I understand. I have a $380 Powermatic and an older $280 ETA 2824 watch. I just wanted to say that you cannot get better than this type of movement until $3000+ watches. Breitling will sell $5,000 watches with their branded ETA 2824. Tag and Tudor (and others) have $3000 watches with that movement too. Case finishing, dial/hands, movement grade/bling, and bracelet all contribute to final cost. This Sideral is one of the examples where it is actually worth it because you cannot get a carbon case for less money. Of course as you mention assuming someone likes the carbon case.
