DJI AVATA BATTERY INSTALLATION ERROR and how to fix it… really rough

- IF YOU HAVE THE FIRST GENERATION OF THE DJI AVATA BATTERIES THIS WILL BE MORE RELEVANT. I GOT MY NEW BATTERIES JUST BEFORE I POSTED THIS VIDEO AND THEY ARE WAAAAYYY BETTER. SHOULD NOT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE UPDATED BATTERY. GOOD WORK DJI!! If your DJI AVATA battery is getting an installation error you can fix it like this! Not the greatest fix but atleast its useable.... for now....

I love the drone, there are many good things about it but i dont understand why nobody else is complaining about the battery connection. Surely im not the only person that has broken the pins?? Let me know if yours kept getting bent or broke like mine??

Hahah yeh pretty fancy fix ehh haha glad DJI had a good solution. They probably would’ve changed it for free if I had asked. Didn’t feel like that battle tho

Fair enough haha I still like the avata. I’m glad they fixed the Battery connectors. Would’ve been disappointing if they didn’t improve it.

Bending the 2 Pins in the Avata to the right a bit (looking from behind in forward flight direction) fixed the problem for me. I think the problem occours when the two pins do not proper connect to the pinhole connectors in the battery...
I tried everything with mine trust me. The way I fixed it was far from practical but it worked hahah. I ordered new batteries and they came out fool proof
fit the battery and the pins at the same time and to pull out the same thing. do not remove the connectors and then the battery. doing this you will never have problems again.
I did! Or at least I tried. It’s just because I had the 1st iteration of the battery. The newer style battery they give is fine. I appreciate the help though!
got a dji FPV with this issue and cant find any one else with it
Dji might replace it for free if you ask them somehow??? I was to impatient though lol

Did you only have the one battery? DJI might send a new replacement if you ask them?? Somehow…. At least you know if you buy more they should be the improved version
