Top 20 Animated DC Shows! Top 20 Young Justice Episodes! Top 10 Batman: TBATB Episodes! Top 20 Superman Villains! Top 10 Batman Anti Heroes! Top 10 DC Supervillain Teams!
One that I would mention would be Tomar-Re in Young Justice. I can’t imagine what he went through constantly being reminded of his greatest failure, whenever the galaxies greatest hero Superman was mentioned. The way he honorably gave his life to save New Genesis helped him die with a clear conscience, knowing he was able to save that world.
Here are some honorable mentions: - The Mad Hatter Lost His Head, Literally (Batman: Bad Blood) - Gregory Belson's Cowardly Escape Gone Wrong (Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero) - Dana Blew Up Patrick's Mouse House (Batman Beyond)
In number 8, Owlman pretty much did it to himself. Whan Batman sent him to that cold uninhabitable Earth, the owl-themed supervillain had the option to either: 1) Use the dimension-traveling device to transport himself to another Earth, or.... 2) deactivate the Q.E.D bomb. Yet ultimately, he chose to let the bomb explode.
@@anthonyherring5329 to my understanding, as the bomb was getting ready to detonate, there was a button with the opinion to deactivate the bomb. I'm thinking that when he said it didn't matter, what he meant was that it didn't matter if he died or not. Also, during his second fight with Batman, he said that nothing mattered.
I knew the Joker was going to be number 1. Mark Hamill’s Joker is incredible. The Joker is not only Batman’s greatest enemy but also has many versions of him that are evil. In Batman Beyond Return of the Joker he tortured and brainwashed Tim instead of killing him like he does to Jason in the comics. Also the Joker has caused so much hurt to a Batman and his friends.
That movie encapsulated me even as a kid. I couldn’t believe how dark it got then how satisfying it was to see him finally be ended (sort of). Made me believe in Terry McGinnis that much more
I love Thawne's demise. As stated, we get to see it twice and the idea of Thawne's last thoughts being how he's going to hell despite all his best efforts is so very satisfying. Plus, I love that he likely was thinking of the irony that, had he not pushed Flash to create Flashpoint or just let Flash undo it instead of stopping him, he wouldn't have ended up with a hole in his head
I love how dark and morbid DC deaths and stories are. I still remember as a kid getting creeped out by Freezes head being alive then put in a new body but glad he went out a hero.
@@levian21vt Yeah same, because while Marvel is fun I feel of the two they're less realistic and more saturday morning cartoon with their execution compared to DC which has messed up, darker stuff that you hear about in real life. It delivers the fantasy element but also a bit more grounded than Marvel's "good guys always win" stories compared to DC where alot of messed up stuff happens.

@@Brklynking93 have you seen the movie Batman under the red hood? I was watching it and the red hood made a good point. 😅I don’t want to go into detail if you haven’t seen it because it’d ruin the movie
@bleachfan2.029 I have. And I agreed with red hood. But I also agree with batman explanation on why HE doesn't kill He already acknowledged he's always walking on that tight rope, and if he does kill, he might turn into something worse than the joker. My thing is, why doesnt The police or courts just execute him smh.
Nice top list. I kind of feel bad about Bedlam's demise because Brion was a great member of the outsiders, but thanks of the annoying moral code from his former partners, he is now seeing as the bad guy.
In the censored version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, The Joker's death played out differently. Instead of shooting him,Tim Drake shoved The Joker into a water tank, causing some electric cables to wrap around him, The Joker slipped, as he was getting up, and accidentally threw a switch, electrocuting himself. Although I like uncensored death better, I do appreciate the fact he was essentially killed the same way twice in the censored version; albeit through different means.
Joker and Reverse Flash are definitely at the top of the list for a reason. You know a villain is a huge badass when you have to send them to Hell more than once.
Animation needs to go back to writing satisfying villain deaths like these again! We gotta drop that annoyingly insistence on forgiving, redemption, and forcing mercy all the time!
If that's what it takes, good, but let's not forget to rework our brains to relive that old morbid nostalgia, or else, we end up thinking they ain't gonna die. I would know, it's been so long since I've seen a movie with a satisfying villain death that I've forgotten how it feels..
What's interesting about Joker's demise is there are 2 different versions, the uncut version and TV version... and it's actually hard to say which is more satisfying. The end version, shown in the clips from this video, is satisfying because it's so abrupt and it completely takes Joker, as well as us, completely off guard. In the TV version, however, Tim gains control and fights Joker, causing him to get tangled in electric cables on a wet floor and Joker slips, turning on the power and electrocuting himself. The latter is satisfying because, not only did Tim break Joker's hold, but Joker died in the equivalent of slipping on a banana peel. Quite a fitting end for the Clown Prince of Crime, don't you think?
As stated, we get to see it twice and the idea of Thawne's last thoughts being how he's going to hell despite all his best efforts is so very satisfying.

On #6, it has to be taken into consideration that Geoforce was possibly being psychically manipulated when he killed his uncle. It was revieled shortly after this that Markovia's ambassador was a metahuman phychic, and the newest member of vandle savages light, and he was nearby when bedlamb was executed.
The joker had an alternate death where instead of being shot he slipped on water and pulled a lever that activated electrical equipment on a wet floor to soaked joker basically killing himself with electricity
Seriously, the guy was experimenting on people turning them into monsters for the highest bidder and committed murder he needed to be put down and screw their ideas on “crossing the line “ there’s a point we’re you must say enough
@@bleachfan2.029My thoughts exactly. @𝕿𝖔𝖒á𝖘 𝕯. 𝕸𝖔𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖆 🇨🇴 exactly my point. Brion most likely wanted to kill bedlam for everything he did to their family, but without the interference of the ambassador influence it is highly doubtful he would have acted on that impulse. At least imo anyway.
@@camortie True enough. But there is the fact that Brion( a Markovian royal and is essentially judge, jury and executioner on his native land) , was goaded into killing his uncle Bedlam by the latter himself. Otherwise Brion would've given his uncle a huge slap on the wrist to continue trafficking metahuman kids and people would suffer as a result of that poor decision. So half of Brion DID want Bedlam dead, regardless of whatever the Team thinks.
5:05 his new, cloned body, due to damage in his DNA, began to revert to its subzero-only state. That also played a role in his reversion back to being a villain besides Derek Powers's and Miranda Lake's attempt to biopsy his organs.
