@user-yc9vv9xb8s I'm not saying another season of Young Justice isn't coming. I'm just saying the YJ universe was referenced. That said the Tomorrowverse multiverse is part of a greater multiverse which the DCAMU was in before being rebooted and shattered as Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans demonstrates.
I know that the teen titans universe was erased because of the crisis and such, but why couldn’t have been the teen titans go universe that got erased instead of the 2003 one. But I guess on the plus side the young Justice universe was spared so there’s that. However that being said I did enjoy the entire DC animated movie universe for what they gave us and I’m hoping that maybe somewhere down the road they will go and revisit this universe again, but probably call it the rebirth universe. My only one complaint about the three part crisis on infinite earths trilogy was that in the end it really didn’t matter because Superboy prime basically re-built the entire multiverse of earth’s again.
No, the YJ Universe WASN'T spared since not only was their Earth listed as the next target but the movie ended with all the Earth's in the Bleed being destroyed by the hundreds of Anti-Monitors. Their whole fight being a lost cause is why they created the Prime Earth and evacuated the Monitor's ship to the new world. Besides from the sounds of it the only universes targeted were the ones where Darkseid was died as a baby, so not only does that immediately spare the TTG universe because they HAVE a Darkseid, but also for sure spares all the shows that showed or referenced Darkseid. The DCAU and Superfriends worlds we saw WEREN'T the ones that we would've watched or had any connection to since they HAVE a Darkseid. Darkseid was never seen or mentioned in TT03, but given the characters it makes sense that he never entered their orbit in any form, so there is no reason to believe the world that we watched as children was destroyed.
As I recall, other multiverses (DC,Marvel,Spiderverse,Ben 10,etc.) have existed without the threat of collapse or annihilation. So what's the deal here?
For the future films they should switch to standalones, keep the Heroes separate or have lesser known characters working together. Give each of the big 5 their own Earth. Batverse, Superverse, Wonderverse, Flashverse, Aquaverse, maybe even a Shazamverse.
@@goose2866 Exactly. They had 2 kicks at the can already. First time they got it right, second time they messed it up (imo). The new Justice League films might benefit being standalones, similar to Justice League Doom.
I did like some of these movies. I really did really like the Green Lantern John Stewart movie and I wanted him to get his own movie for so long, but you said something in the video that I just agree with so much. I may die hard DC fan, but if everything’s a Multiverse story then the Multiverse isn’t special anymore. I don’t want to do anything with the Multiverse movies or TV series anytime soon like we need a good decade without it. The one thing about this series that I absolutely hated was they erase the one on screen shared universe that was actually good that most fans unanimously loved and that’s Bruce Timm’s DCAU. I mean why and that? I’m not saying that they needed to go ahead and keep doing stuff with that every year but when you have something that everybody loves, there’s no reason to end it. I hated that they showed that universe die like that. That universe has been around for 30 years and it’s one of the things DC/Warner Brothers got right.
what I don’t think most of you understand & in my opinion what you should be talking about is how this universe was robbed. This universe started before gunn & this dc studios nonsense. Whatever vision they originally had was drastically cut short, This universe had to end prematurely because nothing ( & I do mean nothing) is going to exist unless it’s connected to gunn story. the thing about dc I liked is that no matter what they did live action or in tv the animated movies were always separated. The universe that ended with apocalypse war went slightly unnoticed but was left alone by hollyweird types. besides 3 standalone movies I know of coming out, everything animated is connected to gunn movies & nothing else. The only dc you’re getting is what gunn wants you to have. Im not some internet dude saying boycott this clown or watch or don’t watch his stuff. I don’t care. I do think as a dc fan that more people should want their animation to remain untouched & separate. if you watch crisis I guarantee you’ll understand the ending better & all that one earth pocket universe & everything (I do mean everything) being erased. No more batman, superman or wonder woman or justice league stories. unless it’s a gunn story from his universe & nothing else. My question is are dc fans so obsessed with being a marvel that you’re willing to except this. dc animation was one good thing it had. Gunn has his talents but his tone, style & depictions are for everyone. Dc animation always got it more right than wrong but now everything will be in that gunn style & tone with only his character depictions
Never fear, fellow fans of the multiverse. Someday DC will bring it back. They have to. It presents too many opportunities for original and popular alternative storylines like SuperWonder. They tried to get rid of it years ago with the original "Crisis on Infinite Earths." It didn't work then, and they brought the multiverse back. They'll have to do it again, sooner or later.
Those movies are SO BAD that you deserve a tumbs up just for the sacrifice to watch them! I used to love DC animated movies, but after zaslav cheap era, i quit totally!
One thing is certain, the Young Justice universe was never there. So in our minds, they're safe.
