- This is a day in my life in Koh Samui, Thailand
Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 8 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have 2 half Thai, half American boys named Luke and Leon. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 5 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together on Maenam walking street in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

Yes it is white Plum which has bitter sweet taste. Nam is making Burmese stlye of salad. Lilly your kids are so Adoreable and Nam looks so happy with your family.

Hi Lilly, I’m from Singapore - not too far away from you! I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and have been tuning in almost every day. Your testimony is amazing and so is the work that you do to feed the hungry and pray for the sick and downtrodden. I just want to say keep it up. BEAUTIFUL STORY EVER! and I am so happy for you that things turn out this way, and now you have two beautiful baby boys. I remember you said in another video you feel like the way you talk is not as natural, well I just wanna share that you look super natural here and I'm loving it! Hi Lilly, one thing that you learn in Thailand and in Asia is that sharing saliva is a common occurrence. Thai's eat family style which means that many individual spoons dig into shared dishes which causes mixing of everyone's saliva.
Not every household does that but some does. Usually there is a spoon that you put on the side dish and people use it too scoop food into their personal dish, then put back that spoon into the side dish, not into the mouth. Basically there are eating spoon and scooping spoon if that make sense.
That view from the beach brings back so many memories! Thanks! 😀
The Red banana is heartier and slightly sweeter than yellow banana. When ripe, they have maroon/purple skin to almost black, and the flesh is pinkish, or salmon color.

Wat seemed to be overly quiet and not cheerful. I hope these “uneventful” times are not getting him down. Maybe he needs to go on a fishing trip. Something he enjoys. 😊

We have been visiting Thailand at least twice a year since 2000, missing the country and people due to covid, so your channel has been outstanding to show us how things are in real time and see many places we know, although we can't be there now.
